How to Use
Cleaning
■ To clean the unit, be sure the unit
is cool and unplugged. Wipe the
handle with a damp cloth. No other
maintenance is necessary.
■Do not attempt to repair the
appliance yourself.
This appliance has no user
serviceable parts.
Storage
Unplug the unit whenever it is not
in use. Allow it to cool, then store it
out of reach of children in a safe, dry
location.
Never wrap the cord around the
appliance, since this will cause the
cord to wear prematurely and break,
thus voiding warranty. Handle the
cord carefully and avoid jerking,
twisting, or straining it, especially at
plug connections.
NOTE: make sure that you are
placing your hair into the clamp in
the same direction as the curling
guide, allowing the hair to move into
the curl guide as you turn the iron
up to your roots.
4. Grasp the safety tip with the other
hand, and it will be easy to roll
the hair.
5. In a clockwise rotation, turn the
styler up toward your roots. The
curling guides should effortlessly
guide your hair into the barrel.
NOTE: If your hair is not being guided
onto the barrel, but instead going over
the curling guides, try turning the
barrel in the opposite direction. And/or
make sure that your hair is properly
placed into the curling iron’s clip.
6. Hold the curl in place for up to 20
seconds for tighter curls. For softer,
looser curls hold the iron for less
time.
7. When ready to release the curl,
simply pull the curling clip down
and gently pull the iron down and
away from your head.
8. When completely finished, and
all curls have cooled thoroughly,
gently brush and comb the hair
into a style desired.
How to Use
Hair should be clean, dry or nearly
dry, and free of tangles before using.
(This iron can also be used for quick
touch-ups any time.)
1. Rest the iron on its stand on a
smooth, flat surface, and plug it in.
2. Push in the on/off button until the
on/light is red.
How to get professional
results with your curling iron
This unique curling iron has been
designed with unique curl guides
that effortlessly guide your hair
onto the curling barrel.
TEST A SMALL SECTION OF HAIR
BEFORE USING; THEN ADJUST
TEMPERATURE DEPENDING ON
HAIR TYPE.
Styling
1. Start by dividing hair into sections,
not more than 1 inch deep and 2
inches wide.
2. Keep the section smooth by
brushing or combing through while
holding the ends taut with the
other hand.
3. Taking one section at a time, open
the curling iron’s clip by pulling the
lever down and place the end of
your hair inside. Release the lever
for the hair to remain clipped to
the iron.
