GENERAL INFORMATION

The PROSIXLCDKP is a wireless alpha keypad that is used in conjunction with the

PROA7PLUS, and PROH8PLUS Control Panels. Up to eight (8) Keypads can be used

on the system.

REMOVE CASE BACK AND

INSTALL THE BATTERY

1. Remove the cover securing screw at the bottom of the keypad and pull up to remove

case back.

2. Plug battery connector into the receptacle as shown, and snap the battery pack in place.

KEYPAD MOUNTING

The keypads can be surface mounted directly to a wall or desk mounted.

Wall Mounting

1. With the case back removed, and battery pack installed, route the 2 wires from the

external power supply plug through the opening in the wall mount.

2. Mount the wall mount, using the screws provided. Insert the tamper screw as shown.

3. Connect the 2 wires to the touchpad terminal block. Observe polarity. See Wiring Table.

4. Align the case with the cleats and snap into place and secure with bottom screw.

Desk Mounting with Optional Desk Stand

1. After installing battery pack, plug in the barrel connector from the power supply.

Snap case back onto desk mount and secure with bottom screw.

Les claviers peuvent être montés en surface directement sur un mur ou sur un bureau.

1. Alors que l’arrière du boîtier est retiré et le bloc-batterie installé, faites passer les 2 fils depuis la

prise du bloc d'alimentation externe par l’ouverture au dos du boîtier.

2. À l'aide des vis fournies, montez l’arrière du boîtier à un mur. Insérez la vis antisabotage,

comme illustré.

3. Raccordez les 2 fils au bornier du touchpad. Respectez la polarité. Voir Tableau de câblage..

4. Alignez le boîtier sur les cales supérieures et enclenchez-le.

Installation sur table avec support facultatif

1. Après avoir installé les piles, attachez le clavier à son dos et fixez-le avec la vis inférieure.

2. Remettez le boîtier en place sur le support de bureau.

NOTES:

•Wiring to the DC power supply must not exceed 75 feet using 16-gauge wire. If the DC voltage

drops below 8.38Vdc an “AC LOSS” “Keypad # x 80x” message will be displayed and reported,

(if enabled).

•Do not connect the transformer to a receptacle that is controlled by a switch.

•

The Green AC LED on the keypad will stay lit solid if primary power is present. If primary power

is lost, the Green AC LED will blink and the Amber Trouble LED will blink.

NOTES:

présente. En cas de perte d'alimentation primaire, le voyant vert AC clignote et le voyant de

problème Ambre clignote..

ENROLL THE KEYPAD

The keypad must be enrolled in the control panel before it can be used. Registration and

Programming is conducted through ADT 3rd Party Services and the Alarm.com MobileTech tool. On

a laptop, PC or Smart Device, go to: https://3ps.adt.com and https://alarmadmin.alarm.com/mobile.

After accessing the customer account perform the following steps in MobileTech to enroll the

keypad(s).

1. Select “Equipment” option

2. Select “Peripherals”

3. Select the “Add Keypad” option.

4. Select “Begin Learn Mode”.

5. Plug the keypad’s power supply into a 24hr, non-switchable 110VAC, 60Hz outlet.

•The keypad automatically attempts to pair with the Control Panel.

•If enrollment is not successful, press any of the keys on the keypad to restart the pairing

process or disconnect and reconnect power.

6. After successful pairing, keypad displays Busy Standby until exit of program mode. The system

then displays Disarmed, Ready. When enrolled, the keypad’s ID number appears on the Control

Panel’s screen.

7. After enrollment, program and save the keypad’s zone options (zone descriptor, etc.) at

the Control Panel.

NOTE:Make sure to assign a descriptor to the keypad for easy identification when keypad events

occur.

CLAVIER

Le clavier doit être inscrit au contrôle avant de pouvoir être utilisé. L'inscription et la programmation

s'effectuent via les services tiers ADT et l'outil Alarm.com MobileTech. Sur un ordinateur portable,

un ordinateur ou un périphérique intelligent, accédez aux sites suivants: https://3ps.adt.com et

https://alarmadmin.alarm.com/mobile. Après avoir accédé au compte client, effectuez les étapes

suivantes dans MobileTech pour inscrire le (s) pavé (s) tactile (s).

1. Sélectionnez l'option «Équipement»

2. Sélectionnez «Périphériques»

3. Sélectionnez l'option «Ajouter un clavier».

4. Sélectionnez «Mode apprentissage».

5. Branchez le bloc d’alimentation du keypad sur une prise 24 h / 24, commutable, 110VAC, 60Hz.

•Le clavier tente automatiquement de s’apparier au contrôleur.

•l’enregistrement échoue, appuyez sur n’importe quelle touche du keypad pour relancer le

processus d’appariement ou débranchez puis rebranchez le bloc d’alimentation.

6. Une fois l’appariement réussi, le keypad affiche « Busy Standby » (occupé, en attente) jusqu’à

ce que l’appareil quitte le mode de programmation. Le système affiche ensuite le message

« Disarmed, Ready » (Désarmé. Prêt.). Une fois le keypad inscrit, son numéro d’identification

s’affiche sur l’écran du contrôleur.

7. Après l’inscription, programmez et enregistrez les options de zone du keypad (descripteur de

zone, etc.) sur le contrôleur.

NOTE : assurez-vous d’attribuer un descripteur au keypad pour faciliter l’identification lorsque

des événements liés au keypad se produisent.

IMPORTANT

: Once enrolled, the keypad cannot be used with another Control Panel until it is

un-enrolled (deleted) from the current Control Panel. Refer to Keypad Menu Mode for details on

removing devices.

SPECIAL FUNCTION KEYS

The keypads also feature function keys. These keys may be programmed for panic alarms.

Panic activation requires a 2-button sequence. After the first button in the sequence is pressed, you

can cancel the panic by pressing any other key.

1. Press Panic and within 10 seconds press the desired panic key

(Fire, Police, Medical)

2. Press desired panic key and within 10 seconds press the Panic

TOUCHES DE FONCTIONS SPÉCIALES

Les keypad s comprennent également des touches de fonctions. Ces touches peuvent être

pad Menu Mode

This mode displays keypad programmed information and provides access to Default, Reset, LCD

Brightness and Backlight options. Press and hold the (Cancel) key for 2 seconds to enter Menu

Mode. The system will exit Menu Mode after 1 minute of inactivity. Press # key to scroll or * key to

exit.

RF6: Displays the keypad’s SiX software version and the keypad MAC ID

Default Keypad Prompts to Default Keypad. 1 = CONFIRM to remove keypad from control

panel.

Note: If the keypad is repowered within 24 hours, it will re-pair with the control

panel. After 24 hours, it will need to be re-enrolled.

Par défaut, Réinitialiser, Luminosité LCD et Rétro-éclairage. Maintenez la touche

enfoncée pendant 2
