1. CHOOSING THE RIGHT MOTOR CONFIGURATION
The motor is composed out of several separate components: see section 2 for a
detailed overview of the different article numbers.
The selection of the correct article numbers depends on the following
parameters:
- Weight of the sliding vent
- Sliding Configuration
- Number of sliding vents
- Width of the sliding vent
- Mode of operation/control system
Guidelines and decision matrices to select the correct articles and quantities
can be found in the system catalogues:

1.1. POWER CLASS MOTOR
The motor is available in different power classes:
Motor Power rating Article Code
30 W 062.8251.--
50 W 062.8252.--
70 W 062.8253.--
Using the right power class is important to assure the performance and
behaviour of the vent.
An overpowered motor will lead to a jerky motion of
the vent, please do select motors in the right weight
class!
1.2. TIMING BELT LENGTH
The timing belt lenght is twice the vent stroke lenght, plus 2m extra for easy
assembly.
The timing belt length can be calculated as follows:
Length (in meters) = (Vent stroke length (in meters) x 2) + 2
The timing belt is available on roll:
Timing belt 10 m (062.8549.--)
OR
Timing belt 30 m (062.8256.--)

6
1.3. LOCK CABLE
The lock cable (062.8546.--) interconnects the motor with the electrical lock.
This cable has a standard length of 5m and can easily be extended.
Vent stroke Number of cables
< 7 m 1
7 - 12 m 2
1.4. BUTTON CABLES
The 3 options for the Button Cable are:
ÂCable for Push button 062.8219.--
In this case no button is provided and should be locally sourced or provided by
the electrical installer. This can either be:
1. A Normally Open (NO) Impulse Button
2. A Potential-free relay output of a home automation system. In this
case the motor can be controlled in open loop.

ÂPush button + Cable + Connector + LED 062.8547.--
This is a button cable with a preassembled switch with integrated blue 24 V DC
LED ring.

3 “Standard” Control modes are defined:
3 Outputs are available on the Cable Dock to select between these modes:
ÂOCS Control: “Open-Close-Stop”. This is an operation with impulse
functionality. You press the button once and it will open, press again and it
will stop, press again and it will close.
ÂHTR Control: “Hold-To-Run”. This is a dead man’s button, as long as the
operator pushes the button it will either open or close. This operation mode
must be used with vent weights above 400 kg.
ÂLock Control: When the button is connected to this output, the button
will only control the electrical lock. This control mode is needed during
installation.
For these 3 standard control modes one single button is connected to the motor.

3. ASSEMBLY
3.1. PREPARATIONS IN WORKSHOP
• Step 1: Cut profiles to length
• Step 2: Mill profiles
Reference line for the milling is the middle line of the meeting section. For
further detail, please refer to the catalogues and ReynaPro.
HFP 147 089.D25-.--
HFP 179 089.E25-.--
• Step 3: Clean out profiles after milling - inside as well!
Debris and coolant in the profile can get caught up in the timing belt, causing
slippage over the pulley or jamming of the gears. So make sure profiles are
clean.
Recommendation: use a Cleaning mousse (062.9426.04) and push it through
the chamber to clean it out.
Deburr all milled edges with a correct deburring tool.
• Step 4: Place profile with milling upwards on a working table
• Step 5: Place cables in the profile (in total at least 3 cables should be
installed)
a. Lock Cable (062.8546.--) (5 m)
The lock cable interconnects the motor with the electrical lock. The
connector for this cable has a default grey colour. This cable has a
standard length of 5m and can easily be extended.
Vent stroke Number of cables
< 7 m 1
7 - 12 m 2
Use cable tie holders (screwed or glued version) to hold the cable. These
should be placed in the insulation strip and under the rubber block
(062.8081.--) at the meeting section.

14
Screw fixable cable tie holder Glued or taped cable tie holder
b. Power Supply Cable (062.8217.--) (10 m)
The connector for this cable has a default green colour.
This cable has a standard length of 10m but may not be extended.
Do not extend the Power Cable! Reuse the connector
on a new cable with a bigger copper section. Please
ask for the assistance of a certified electrician to
calculate this section and to mount it.
This needs to be connected to a 24 V DC regulated power supply with a
Class II insulation, protected by a suited residual-current device (RCD).
For the power supply, a 3 A nominal current and a 10 A peak current
rating is required.
Class II insulation symbol
A power supply integrated into the profile is not advised. A wall mount
or DIN rail power supply is preferred.
Please refer to the electrical manual page Section 3.

c. Button Cable: For this cable 3 options are available:
Cable for Push button 062.8219.-- (10 m)
Push button + Cable + Connector 062.8222.-- (10 m)
Push button with LED + Cable + Connector 062.8547.-- (10 m)
To make your selection, see section 1.4.
Step 6: Cut Timing Belt to length
The timing belt should be cut with an overlength for easy assembly. The length
must be calculated with the following formula:
Length (in meters) = (Vent stroke length (in meters) x 2) + 2
Step 7: Place Timing belt in the profile.
This can best be achieved by pushing the belt from the motor milling towards
the return pulley milling.
Make sure the teeth are pointing upwards (outwards to the opening) and the
belt is not twisted inside the profile.
Have both ends meet in the middle of the vent stroke.
DO NOT CUT THE BELT TO LENGTH AT THIS POINT!
Step 8: Assemble the motor holder clamp, adjust the depth of the screw
fixing plate according to the wall thickness of the profile.

16
Step 9: Fix the motor holder clamp inside the profile
Step 10: If necessary turn the pulley of the return pulley to the right. This can
be detected based on the position of the belt in the motor. The return pulley
should match the same side.

EnglishItaliano
17
1. Remove the locking nut from the return pulley
2. Remove the shaft
3. Switch over the pulley
4. Place the shaft back in
5. Move the shaft to just fit in the slot
6. Screw on the locking nut
Step 11: Pull the belt through the return pulley
Step 12: Fix the return pulley in the profile, do not tighten the nut at the back
of the return pulley at this point.

18
Step 13: Pull the belt through the motor, make sure the pulley of the motor
doesn’t rotate while doing this.
Step 14: Insert the motor in the holder clamp and lay the motor flat in the
profile
Step 15: Attach the belt clamp to one side of the belt, make sure to use
Loctite on the bolts. Make sure all teeth openings in the clamp are filled by
the timing belt.

EnglishItaliano
19
Step 16: Pull the return pulley outwards outside the frame and cut the belt
to length. Make sure all teeth openings of the belt clamp can be filled by the
timing belt. Leave one additional tooth on the belt (cut one less off) in case of
misalignment of the teeth.
Step 17: Fix the belt to the belt clamping plate by keeping the return pulley
swivelled outwards.
If moving the vent belt manually, never move faster
than 10 cm/sec.! With or without the motor powered,
this can cause damage to the motor and is not covered
by warranty.
Step 18: Tighten the timing belt with the return pulley swivelled out. Make
sure with the clamping plate next to the motor that the belt is loose from the
profile.
Step 19: Fold the return pulley back in and fix it by the fixing plate + cover

20
Step 20: Fold out the motor
Step 21: Attach the Cable dock, connector cover and fixing bolt to the motor.
Remove the protecting tape from the double-sided mousse at the bottom of
the Cable dock
Step 22: Fold the motor into the profile. Make sure it is nicely aligned with
the milling and not touching the profile.
Step 23: Remove the bolt from the cover and remove the connector cover.
Step 24: Fold out the motor again.
