250 AMP ARC WELDER
READ MANUAL CAREFULLY BEFORE USING

RHYAS 250amp Arc Welder
IMPORTANT: Before using this product
please read this manual carefully. This
product should only be used for its
intended purpose, failure to do so could
cause damage to the machine, personal
injury and could invalidate the warranty.
Protect your eyes; always use a
shield/mask when welding.

Selectable Power Supply - 230V or 400V
Duty Cycle - 100AMPS 60% & 250AMPS 10%
Welding Rod Capacity - 2mm to 5 mm

(*please note that the welding current
achievable with either a 230V or 400V power
supply is dependant on the combination of the
size of the welding rods and the steel
thicknesses to be welded. If you are unsure
please obtain professional advice or training to
avoid damaging the machine).
ASSEMBLY, OPERATION & INSTALATION
This being a high specification machine we
recommend the services of an electrician to
ensure it is correctly installed, incluidng the
correct power supply to meet your welding
needs.
It is recommended that the welder is suitably
earthed with a copper cable, an earthing point
is provided at the base on the unit.
GENERAL:-
•
Use the welder on a flat, solid and stable
surface.
•
To maintain the efficient running of the
machine ensure that there is a good flow of
clean cool air and no obstructions around
the cooling fan.
•
Use the machine is in a clean, dust free and
dry environment.
•
Avoid any contact with water.
•
Always check machinery prior to use.
•
Inspect power cables, plugs and sockets for
any signs of wear or damage - if in doubt
consult a qualified electrician.
•
Products that can require more than
13amps are supplied without a plug, please
consult a qualified electrician to ensure a
suitable power supply for your needs is
available.
•
Unplug the welder from the power supply
prior to connecting any cables or carrying
out any maintenance work.
•
Ensure the work area is well ventilated to
prevent the build up of welding fumes.
•
Wear gauntlets and appropriate clothing
whilst welding.
•
Do not weld near flammable materials;
solids, liquids or gases.
•
Allow welded material and the welding torch
to cool before touching.
