1. SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
IMPORTANT
• This wired controller must be installed only by an Authorised
Person.
• Installation by other persons may lead to imperfect installation,
electric shock or re.
• Adhere to this installation manual.
• Improper installation may lead to electric shock or re.
• Reinstallation must be made by an Authorised Person.
• Do not uninstall the unit randomly. Arbitrarily uninstalling may
lead to abnormal operation, heating or re of the air condition.
NOTE
• Do not install the unit in a place vulnerable to leakage or
ammable gases. Once ammable gases are leaked and left
around the wire controller, re may occur.
• Do not operate with wet hands or let water enter the wired
controller. Otherwise, electric shock may occur.
• The wiring should adapt to the wired controller’s current.
Otherwise, electric leakage or heating may occur and result
in re.
• The specied cables shall be applied in the wiring. No external
force may be applied to the terminal.
• The illustrations used in this manual are for explanatory
purposes only.

CAUTION
BEFORE INSTALLING THE WIRED CONTROLLER
• This manual provides instructions for installing the wired
controller. Please refer to the wiring diagram of this installation
manual for connecting the wired controller with indoor unit.
• The wired controller operates in a low voltage loop circuit.
Strictly DO NOT directly contact the high voltage cable
above, such as 115V,220V,380V. DO NOT wire this type of
cabling in the said loop; wiring clearance between congured
tubes should range between 300~500mm or above.
• The shielded wire of the wired controller must be grounded
rmly.
• After completing the wire controller connection, DO NOT use
Megger tester to check the insulation. That may damage the
product.
NOTE
A maximum of two controllers may be installed on a system and
the mix may contain any of the following three controllers:
CNTRLDRCINW / CNTRLDRCIPW / CNTRLDRCIPB

NOTE
The PCB is mounted in the upper part of the wired controller. Be
careful not to damage the board with the slot screwdriver.
Fasten the backing plate of the wired controller
• Fasten the backing plate on the wall with the 3 screws (ST3.9*25) and plugs
(Figure 3) provided.

Loom access point
• Remove plastic knockout from the backing plate (Figure 4).
• Create a hole in the wall to access the wall cavity for routing the loom from FCU
to controller.

NOTE
Put on a at surface.
Be careful not to distort
the back plate of the
wire controller by over
tightening the mounting
screws.

Battery Installation (CR2032)
• Slide the battery into the holder as shown with the
positive side facing up (Figure 5).
• Put the battery into the installation site and make sure
the positive side of the battery is in accordance with
the positive side of installation site.
• On the rst power up set the time of day. If the system
is exposed to a power outage the battery will maintain
the time of day. If the displayed time is not correct
once power is restored replace the battery. Figure 5.
NOTE
All the illustrations in this manual are for explanation purposes
only. Your wired controller may be slightly dierent. The actual
shape shall prevail.
Dispose of used button batteries immediately and safely. Flat batteries can still be dangerous and may be a choking hazard.
Inform others about the risk associated with button batteries and how to keep their children safe.
Remove the batteries if the remote is not going to be use for prolonged periods. This will help prevent damage from leaking
batteries. If leakage has occurred and corrosion is evident the remote will need to be replaced.
Leaking chemicals are toxic and MUST NOT be touched or ingested.
NEVER mix old and new batteries.
DO NOT immerse the remote control in any liquid, this will damage the remote control, rendering it inoperable and voiding
its warranty.
WARNING KEEP BATTERIES OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN.
Swallowing may lead to serious injury in as little as 2 hours or death, due to chemical burns
and potential perforation of the oesophagus.
If you suspect your child has swallowed or inserted a button battery immediately call the
24-hour Poisons Information Centre on 13 11 26 for fast, expert advice.
Examine devices and make sure the battery compartment is correctly secured, e.g.
that the screws or other mechanical fasteners are tight. DO NOT use if compartment is not secure.

NOTE
DO NOT allow water to enter the wired control. Use the trap and
putty to seal the wires. Connecting wires must be xed reliably
and cannot be pulled.
For some units, one wired controller can support multiple units (a maximum of
16 units). For conguration of multiple indoor units loom connection is polarity
sensitive and HA must connect to HA on all indoor units, the same applies to HB.
In group control, there will be no error displayed on the wired controller (Figure 8).
