SAFETY GLASS
The Toughene Safety Glass use in the
ROBAND
®
Pie Warmers is approximately five
times stronger than normal glass.
Despite the high impact strength, the
toughene glass is still susceptible to breakage
if impact or pressure is applie to the e ge or
corner of the glass.

a amp cloth with warm soapy water.
Regular cleaning will prevent a buil -up of oils
an keep the machine looking new.
INSTALLATION
Remove all packaging materials, tape, an any
protective plastic from the machine. Remove
any glue resi ue from the protective plastic or
tape using citrus cleaner.
Place the pro uct on a firm, level surface in the
esire position. Install at least 100mm from
combustible materials an a least 50mm from
any other appliance.
Do not connect to power using an extension
cor .
Before connecting the machine to the power
supply, ensure that all switches are in the OFF
position. Connect only to a RCD protecte ,
groun e 3-pin outlet.

OPERATION
1. Turn on/off switch to the ON position. The
green light in icates the unit has power.
On L mo els, the internal light will also
illuminate.
2. Set the thermostat knob to the esire
temperature (typically 90-100°C for pies).
3. Pie warmer shoul be pre-heate for 20
minutes before inserting foo .
FROZEN PRODUCTS
The unit is esigne as a foo warmer for use
with freshly bake or refrigerate pro ucts.
If frozen pro ucts are use it is highly
recommen e that the pro ucts be thawe
before being put in the Pie Warmer.
Approximate times for thawe pro ucts to
reach the esire serving temperature when
place in a pre-heate unit at 90°C:
Meat Pies 35-45 mins
Sausage Rolls 20 mins
Party Pies 15 mins
Pasties/Pockets 15-20 mins
RACK ADJUSTMENT
Racks can be positione angle or flat. To
a just, open hinge oor or remove sli ing
oors an reinsert rack as shown below. Racks
can be angle in either irection.
DOOR CONFIGURATION
The serving si e can be change on the PM50
(+L) an PM100 (+L) mo els by swapping the
glass from front to back. A runner separates the
oors at the top. When installing the oors, take
care to re-insert each oor into a ifferent
runner. Always start with the insi e oor.
To serve from both si es, a itional glass oors
can be purchase to replace the fixe glass
panel. (This can be or ere from the factory as a
“G” variant).

PIE LOADING
When loa ing pro uct into the pie warmer take
note that the lower shelves will heat up more
quickly ue to proximity to the element.
Therefore use lower shelves if partially fille .
A itionally, if unit is completely fille , pro ucts
such as pies that take longer to heat up shoul
be place on the lower shelves.
Using foil on a shelf may block heat to the
shelves above it. If foil is use ventilation holes
must be ma e every few centimetres.
TROUBLESHOOTING
If the Pie Warmer oes not function check the
following points before calling for service.
The machine is plugge in correctly an the
power switche on.
The power point is not faulty.
The on/off switch is not in the OFF position.
The thermostat is not set to OFF.
The thermostat an on/off switch knob are
not loose or broken, ren ering the switches
inoperable.
If appliance is tripping RCD, this may be
cause by:
1. Too many machines on the same circuit
(relocate appliance to another circuit an
try again);
2. Faulty appliance; or
3. Moisture absorption into heating
element.
Tubular heating elements are subject to
moisture absorption which can result in RCDs
(resi ual current evices) tripping, particularly
when the appliance is not use for an exten e
perio , or store in humi con itions.
Regular use can avoi moisture absorption.

workmanship. The warranty for this pro uct is offere to the original purchaser, to be free of fault in both
workmanship an materials for a perio of 12 months from ate of purchase. Roban ’s obligations pursuant
to this warranty are limite to the repair or replacement of the efective goo s or materials, at its iscretion
an subject to the terms containe within this Warranty statement.
The following conditions apply:
The pro uct must be installe , maintaine an use un er normal operating con itions within the scope of
the operating instructions.
All warranty claims must be submitte to Roban or an authorise Roban ealer, an Roban authorisation
must be grante prior to repairs being carrie out. Proof of purchase is require for any repair authorisation.
Warranty is back to base, meaning elivery to an collection of your pro uct to Roban or an authorize
service agent is the responsibility of the purchaser.
Where a pro uct cannot be returne back to base, on-site warranty can be arrange by prior agreement.
The following exclusions apply:
Claims or faults arising from misuse, neglect, transport amage or other mechanical amage, inclu ing but
not limite to; oor’s, hinges & interlock switches etc., other than those arising from manufacture or material
efects. Where relevant, glass, Teflon® an lamps are not inclu e in this warranty an RCD tripping ue to
moisture absorption by Tubular Heating Elements is not a warranty fault.
Roban or any subsi iary company or Agent shall not be liable for loss of profit or amage to other
equipment an property except where it is in breach of the guarantees provi e in accor ance with
applicable legislation.
Roban reserves the right to reject a warranty claim if it is not satisfie with the circumstances un er which the
fault occurre or where a pro uct has been altere from its original specification.
For on-site repairs outsi e of capital city metropolitan areas, travel costs, service callout fee an relate
labour costs etc. are the responsibility of the claimant.
Any costs incurre for false claims or faults ue to incorrect usage etc. are the responsibility of the claimant.
Any attempt to repair the pro uct by non-Roban approve service personnel or the use of non-genuine
parts will voi the warranty agreement
