This device falls under class one and must be grounded!
Design of the Robin CycFX 8 a ows to connect severa fixtures to AC mains power in one interconnected daisy
chain using power input and throughput connectors. Needed daisy chain cords are stated in the chapter
“Technica specifications “
The max. number of connected fixtures depends on the AC mains power vo tage:
15 fixtures at power supp y= 230V
7 fixtures at power supp y= 120V
6 fixtures at power supp y=100V
Do not over oad the supp y ine and the connecting eads.
3.3 MX 512 connection
The fixture is equipped with 3-pin and 5-pin XLR connectors for DMX input/output.
On y use a shie ded twisted-
pair cab e designed for RS-485 and 3-pin/5-pin XLR- connectors in order to connect the contro er with the fixture
or one fixture with another.
Wiring of the XLR connectors:
DMX input DMX output
XLR socket (rear view): XLR p ug (rear view):
1– Shield 2 - Signal (-) 3- Signal (+) 4– Not connected 5– Not connected

Robin CycFX 8
7
To build a DMX chain
1. Connect the DMX output of the contro er direct y with the DMX input of the first fixture in the DMX chain.
2. Connect the DMX output of the first fixture in the DMX chain with the DMX input of the next fixture.
3. A ways connect the DMX output with the input of the next fixture unti a fixtures are connected.
Do not over oad the ink. Max. 32 fixtures may be connected on a DMX ink.
Caution: Terminate the ink by insta ing a termination p ug in the output of the ast fixture. The termination p ug is
a ma e 3-pin XLR p ug with a 120 Ohm resistor so dered between Signa (–) and Signa (+).
3.4 Wireless MX operation
The wire ess version of the Robin CycFX 8 (Robin CycFX 8/W) is equipped with the Lumen Radio CRMX modu e and
antenna for receiving DMX signa . CRMX modu e operates on the 2.4 GHz band.
1. Se ect wire ess DMX input from the menu PErS (PErS-->dM.IM.-->dM.UL.).
2. To ink the fixture with DMX transmitter.
The fixture can be on y inked with the transmitter by running the ink procedure at DMX transmitter .
After inking , the eve of DMX signa ( 0-100 %) is disp ayed in the menu
item “r.InF“ (SPEC-->rAdI.--> r.InF.)
3. To un ink the fixture from DMX transmitter.
The fixture can be un inked from receiver via the menu item “ r. nL.“ (SPEC-->rAdI.--> r.UnL.).
