01. Connect the charger to the battery.
The charger’s output leads have colour-coded battery clamps (red-positive and black-negative).
Connect these directly to the corresponding connectors on the battery posts, positive rst.
02. Connect the charger to a power outlet.
DFX-15 The power indicator light will turn yellow and charging will begin.
DFX-40/80 The LCD panel will light up blue. Press the Mode button to select charging program.
DFX-150 The LCD panel will light up blue. Press the Mode button to select the current. Choose
the battery type.
03. When the battery is charged.
DFX-15 The power indicator light will turn green.
DFX-40/80 The charge indicator bar will be full.
DFX-150 The charge indicator bar will be full.
04. Disconnect from AC power socket.
Quick Start Guide
The following steps describe the quickest method to operate your battery charger. However,
it is essential you fully read this manual to ensure you are familiar with the general safety
features, precautions and functions necessary to operate the product. Failure to do so may
result in injury and damage to equipment and/or your personal items.

Charging speed
12V Slow mode - Charges at a slower rate (amps) for better long-term battery performance.
12V Fast mode - Charges at a faster rate (amps) for time sensitive projects.
Charge voltage
Selects the voltage output by the charger. Match this to the voltage of the battery.
Battery reconditioning
These chargers have battery repair technology. This will actively repair batteries which have lost their
ability to hold charge due to becoming sulphated, using advanced pulse rectier boost technology.
Winter mode
This setting is recommended for batteries at temperatures below 5°C. It is also recommended for AGM
batteries.
Battery voltage
Displays the voltage of the battery.
Battery full indicator / Charge indicator bar
Displays the charge level of the battery and indicates ‘full’ when completely charged.
Note. This charger has Memory Function. It will return to last mode you chose next time the charger is
connected.

F1
01. No clamps connected.
02. Short circuit.
03. Reverse polarity connection.
F2 Loose clamps during charging.
F3 Battery voltage is too high.
F4 Bad battery.

Mode
Change current between 2A/8A/15A by pressing this button. Settings can be changed during charging.
Battery Type
Change battery type between STD/AGM/CAL by pressing this button. Settings can be changed during
charging.
Amp
Show current on the LCD display by pressing this button.
Volt
Show voltage on the LCD display by pressing this button.
Recon
Repair sulphated batteries by pressing Recon button. If batteries can’t be repaired, the ‘battery / voltage
warning’ symbol will be displayed. Other buttons will be invalid under Recon mode. Exit Recon mode by
pressing Recon button again.
Charging status
This column will show charging status. It will be moving during charging and stop moving after battery is
full.
Connection indication
Shows various connection status’s / issues:
• No Connection
• Loose Connection
• Reverse Polarity
Battery / voltage warning
• Bad battery - the battery is in bad condition and may need to be replaced.
• High voltage - you may have choosen the wrong voltage, for example, charging a 12V battery with
6V mode or a 24V battery with 12V mode.
Battery / voltage warning
Displayed when there is a high temperature. Stop operation.
Note. This charger has memory function. It will return to last mode you chose next time the charger is
connected. The default setting is 2A current, STD battery type.

Health and Safety
Please read and understand this manual and the manual for the product / battery
you are intending to charge before operating this device. Keep this manual for
future reference.
• Only use this device in a dry environment and for its intended use.
• Do not charge the battery while the engine is running
• No warranty is offered for damages resulting from improper use or incorrect operation of this
device.
• This device is not intended to be used by persons (including children) with limited physical,
sensory or mental aptitude or lack of experience and/or knowledge.
• In the event of a fault or failure, any repairs to this battery charger must be done by a qualified
person authorised by the manufacturer.
• Keep the power cable away from sources of heat and check the condition of it regularly. If it’s
damaged, have the cable replaced by a qualified person.
• Do not use the charger if damaged or defective and do not charge disposable, frozen or damaged
batteries.
• Protect the charger against the elements, especially rainfall. Use the device in well ventilated
areas only.
• Do not leave the charger connected to a power supply when not in use.
• When charging, batteries emit gasses that may be explosive. Keep away from any heat
sources.
• Make sure the battery charger is disconnected from a power source when connecting to a
battery.
• Never place a battery right under or on top of the battery charger. Place the battery charger as
far away from the battery as possible. Never place the battery charger under the bonnet.
• Always make sure the car and battery manufacturers permit the use of a battery charger jump
start prior to using this function (applicable models only).
• Warning, danger to life - when cleaning, never immerse the device in water or other liquids and
never open the product housing.

01. Connectez le chargeur à la batterie.
Les ls de sortie du chargeur sont munis de pinces de batterie à code de couleur (rouge-positif et
noir-négatif). Connectez-les directement aux connecteurs correspondants des bornes de la batterie,
en commençant par le positif.
02. Branchez le chargeur sur une prise de courant.
DFX-15 Le voyant d’alimentation devient jaune et la charge commence.
DFX-40/80 L’écran LCD devient bleu. Appuyez sur la touche Mode pour sélectionner le programme
de charge.
DFX-150 L’écran LCD devient bleu. Appuyez sur la touche Mode pour sélectionner le programme
en cours. Choisissez le type de batterie.
03. Lorsque la batterie est chargée.
DFX-15 Le voyant d’alimentation devient vert
DFX-40/80 La barre de l’indicateur de charge est pleine
DFX-150 La barre d’indication de charge est pleine
04. Débranchement de la prise de courant CA.

Vitesse de chargement
Mode lent 12V - Charge à un rythme plus lent (ampères) pour une meilleure performance à long terme
de la batterie.
12V Mode rapide - Charge à un rythme plus rapide (ampères) dans le cas de projets nécessitant une
intervention rapide.
Tension de charge
Sélectionne la tension de sortie du chargeur. Faites correspondre cette valeur à la tension de la batterie.
Reconditionnement de la batterie
Ces chargeurs sont dotés d’une technologie de récupération des batteries. Cette technologie permet de
réparer activement les batteries qui ont perdu leur capacité à conserver leur charge parce qu’elles ont
été sulfatées, en utilisant une technologie avancée de redressement par impulsion.
Mode hiver
Ce réglage est recommandé pour les batteries exposées à des températures inférieures à 5°C. Il est
également recommandé pour les batteries AGM.
Tension de la batterie
Afche la tension de la batterie.
Indicateur de batterie pleine/barre indicatrice de charge
Afche le niveau de charge de la batterie et indique “plein” lorsqu’elle est complètement chargée.
Remarque : Ce chargeur est doté d’une fonction de mémorisation. Il reviendra au dernier mode que vous
avez choisi lors de la prochaine connexion au chargeur.
Dépannage / Codes d’erreur
F1
01. Aucune pince n’est connectée.
02. Court-circuit.
03. Inversion de la polarité de la connexion
F2 Les pinces ne sont pas assez serrées pendant la
charge.
F3 La tension de la batterie est trop élevée.
F4 Mauvaise batterie.

Mode
Choisissez la puissance entre 2A/8A/15A en appuyant sur ce bouton. Les réglages peuvent être modiés
pendant la charge.
Type de batterie
Changez le type de pile en appuyant sur ce bouton entre STD/AGM/CAL. Les réglages peuvent être
modiés pendant la charge.
Amp
En appuyant sur ce bouton, l’écran LCD afche le niveau actuel de batterie.
Volt
Pour afcher la tension sur l’écran LCD, il suft d’appuyer sur ce bouton.
Recon
Réparez les piles sulfatées en appuyant sur le bouton Recon. Si les piles ne peuvent pas être réparées, le
symbole “avertissement de pile / tension” s’afche. Les autres boutons ne sont pas compatibles avec le
mode de reconnaissance. Quittez le mode Recon en appuyant à nouveau sur le bouton Recon.
Niveau de charge
Cette colonne indique l’état de la charge. Elle se déplace pendant la charge et s’arrête lorsque la batterie
est pleine.
Indicateur de connexion
Afche les différents états/problèmes de connexion :
• Pas de connexion
• Connexion défaillante
• Inverser la polarité
Avertissement relatif à la batterie/ à la tension
• Pile défectueuse - la pile est en mauvais état et peut avoir besoin d’être remplacée.
• Haute tension - vous pouvez choisir une tension incorrecte, par exemple, vous pouvez charger une
batterie de 12V en mode 6V ou une batterie de 24V en mode 12V.
Avertissement relatif à la batterie/à la tension
S’afche lorsque la température est élevée. Arrêt du fonctionnement.
Remarque : Ce chargeur est doté d’une fonction de mémorisation. Il reviendra au dernier mode que
vous avez choisi lors de la prochaine connexion du chargeur. Le réglage par défaut est un courant de 2A,
type de batterie STD.
