WARNING!
There is a danger to life from elec-
tric shock when working on electrical
equipment!
• The mains connection of the timer and
all work on electrical installations may
only be carried out by an authorized
electrician in accordance with the con-
nection diagram in these instructions.
• Carry out all assembly and connection
work in a de-energized state.
WARNING!
Non-observance may result in danger
to life!
• When using the device in damp
rooms, observe the regulations for
installation in damp rooms, especially
DIN VDE 0100, Parts 701 and 702.
• Observe the mandatory protective
measures contained in these regulati-
ons.
WARNING!
The use of defective devices can endan-
ger persons and cause damage to pro-
perty (electric shock, short circuit).
• Never use defective or damaged equip-
ment.
• Check the motor and power cord for
intactness.
• Please contact our Service (see last
page), if you notice any damage to the
device.
ATTENTION!
It is essential to observe the installation
and connection instructions!
• Lay the power cable of the motor in-
ternally in the empty conduit up to the
junction box, observing the local elec-
trical regulations.

• Make sure that the power cord does
not come into contact with the shutter
curtain or other moving parts of the
equipment.
• For the electrical connection, a power
connection with 230 V/50 Hz and an
on-site disconnecting device (fuse)
must be permanently available at the
installation site.
• Attach permanently mounted control
devices in a visible position.
• Both rated torque and rated operating
time of the driven motor must be com-
patible with the characteristics of the
driven equipment.
• Proper operation of the equipment is
only guaranteed if it is properly ins-
talled, assembled, supplied with suffici-
ent power and maintained.
• Secure the plant against unauthorized
operation. Take safety precautions
against unintentional switch-on.
• Before working on the system, discon-
nect all connecting lines to be installed
from the power supply and secure
them against unintentional reconnec-
tion.
• Remove all lines that are not required.
Set all devices that are not required for
actuation with the motor out of opera-
tion.
Achtung!
Hinweise zur richtigen Verwendung und
the conditions of use must be observed!
There is an increased risk of injury if
used improperly!
• Use the device (timer) only for connec-
tion to roller shutter, awning and blind
motors.
• Deactivate the automatic opening and
closing function in case of snowfall,
icing or danger of frost to avoid dama-
ge to the motor or the driven system.
• Only use original components and ac-
cessories from the manufacturer.
• Instruct all persons in the safe use of
the device.
• Watch the moving equipment (roller
shutter, awning, blind) and keep peo-
ple away from it until the movement is
finished.
• Prohibit children from playing with the
device (timer).
• Carry out all cleaning work on the roller
shutter, awning or blind in a de-ener-

General safety instructions

ATTENTION!
The following mounting instructions
must be observed!
• Before mounting, compare the speci-

and current consumption on the name-
plate with those of the local mains.
• Before installing the timer, remove or
disable all wiring and equipment not
required for operation.
Important!
According to DIN EN 13659, care must
be taken to ensure that the displace-
ment conditions specified for the
hangers in accordance with EN 12045
are complied with, i.e. that hangers
are locked laterally. According to
DIN VDE 0700, the installation of
permanently installed devices must
include a disconnecting device for
each phase. Switches with a contact
opening width of at least 3 mm (e.g.
LS switches, fuses or FI switches) are
considered to be disconnecting de-
vices. Check the installation regularly.
If there is any damage (e.g. signs of
wear, damaged cables and springs or
misaligned end positions), do not use
the installation.
IMPORTANT!
