Before using the device for the first time, read the
user manual and safety instructions carefully.
Keep the operating instructions together with the
device for later use. If other people use this device,
make this manual available to them. If you sell the
device, these instructions are part of the device and
must be supplied with it.

– Connect the product to the power only when
the input or power supply voltage matches the
specifications on the rating label on the product.
– Do not insert any objects into the product.
– Do not store any objects on the product.
– Do not drop the product or subject it to violent
shocks.
– Protect the product from moisture. Do not touch
it with wet / damp hands and do not immerse it
in water.
– Do not use the product in the rain or in wet
environments.

temperatures above 50° C or below -10 °C.

automatically.
– Keep the product and accessories away from
open flames, hot surfaces and highly flammable
materials.

its customer service or a similarly qualified person
in order to prevent hazards.

a specialist workshop for this purpose.All liability
and warranty claims are excluded in the event
of repairs by the user, improper connection or

allowed to disassemble the product in case of
malfunction. Otherwise, your warranty will be
voided.

– Use only the battery listed in this manual.
– Read and follow the manufacturer‘s warnings
and instructions.
– Observe the correct polarity of the battery and
insert it accordingly. Do not attempt to install the
battery in the opposite direction.
– Do not charge the battery.
– Do not short-circuit the battery.
– Do not place the battery in fire or heat it.
– Do not open or damage the battery.
– Do not store, charge, or use battery in very high
or low temperatures or very low air pressure
(such as high altitudes).

Safety Instructions for Batteries
– Keep battery out of the reach of children and
animals.
– Remove and dispose of used battery from the
product immediately.
– Do not allow battery to enter the environment. It
may contain toxic and environmentally harmful
heavy metals.
– When battery is empty, it can easily leak.Therefo-
re, to avoid product damage, please remove the
battery when the product is not used for a long
time or when the battery is empty.
– If the battery leaks and the liquid in the damaged
battery comes into contact with skin or clothing,
rinse them immediately with plenty of water.

Activating the Battery in the Temperature
and Humidity Sensor
– Turn the battery compartment cover to the left
with the help of a screwdriver or a coin and
remove it from the battery compartment.
– Remove the protective tab under the battery type
CR2032.
– Place the battery compartment cover on the bat-
tery compartment according to the three notches
and turn it to the right to lock it in place with the
help of a screwdriver or a coin.

Operation
Inserting/Replacing the Battery in the
Temperature and Humidity Sensor
– Turn the cover of the battery compartment to the
left with the help of a screwdriver or a coin and
remove it from the battery compartment.
– Remove the empty battery type CR2032 from the
battery compartment.
– Insert a new battery type CR2032 into the
battery compartment. Pay attention to the correct
polarity of the battery type CR2032.
– Place the battery compartment cover on the bat-
tery compartment according to the three notches
and turn it to the right to lock it in place with the
help of a screwdriver or a coin.

Attaching the Temperature and Humidity
Sensor
– Select the desired location to which the tempera-
ture and humidity sensor is to be attached.
– Make sure that this location is not directly near
windows, doors, heaters, bathrooms, kitchens
or other sources of heat, cold and humidity, and
is not covered by furniture or textiles in order
to obtain the most unaltered temperature and
humidity measurements possible.
Also make sure that the location is out of the
reach of children and animals.

Operation
– Clean the location, so that the adhesive surface
of the temperature and humidity sensor adheres
well.
– Attach the temperature and humidity sensor to
the desired location using the adhesive surface. If
you want to attach the temperature and humidity
sensor to a vertical location, place it with the
sensor opening facing down.
– Press the temperature and humidity sensor for a
few seconds so that the adhesive surface adheres
well.

Setting up the App
– Search for the free ”Smart Life“ app in the App
Store or Google Play Store, or scan the appro-
priate QR code.
– Download the app to your smartphone or tablet.
