1. SECURITY INSTRUCTIONS
Please respect these instructions scrupulously to avoid any risk o ire, electric shock, scald or
other wounds and damage.
During the use o this appliance, undamental circumspection o security must always be no-
ticed, such as:
- Take into account the instructions to be systematically kept with the appliance.
- Install the appliance always in instructions respect. A 10 cm distance minimum with the
partition or the wall is necessary.
- Protect the appliance rom direct light o the sun, rost and humidity.
- Never leave the appliance within the reach o children or disabled persons without sur-
veillance during or a ter use; the oil remains hot or a long time.
- Ensure that only trained personnel operate the appliance.
- Never move the appliance when it is working or still hot.
- Check that the appliance is de initely o be ore connecting it up or disconnecting it.
- Do not touch the hot sur aces o the appliance: always use handles and control knobs.
- Do not use the appliance or other unctions than determined use.
- Do not leave the cord o electrical eeding in the contact o hot sur aces.
- The appliance should not be used close to combustible materials.
- Entrust compensations only to a skilled person.
- Use only spare parts o origin.
- To avoid any damage on the heating element, do not use solid ats.
- Never warm your machine up i the heating elements are not plunged into oil, you may
cause a ire
- Never plug in your deep ryer be ore having illed in the container with oil
- The metal parts o the deep ryer become very hot during use.
- Never exceed the maximum capacity o your ryer which is o 4 kg or RFE 16 C and o
1.5kg per container or RFE 20 C.
- Never place the lid on the deep ryer while it is in use.
- Never put the control unit in water. Remove it be ore washing the rest o your deep ryer.
- A ter cleaning, ensure that all parts are completely dry be ore using the appliance.
- I the cord is harmed, it must be replaced by the producer, his a ter sale service or persons
o similar skills to avoid any risk.
- Never leave your ryer working without any watching
- Do not plunge oods made with an important humidity, you risk a boiling over; the same
or bigger oods.
- Use caution when removing the electrical module; the temperature sensors and the ele-
ment may be very hot.

- Use only the control unit supplied with the machine.
- Watch out or steam during use.
- Whatever the ryer is cold or hot, the oil level has to be always between the minimum
and maximum levels placed on the le t and right sides o the container( maximum level
“large line”, minimum level “small line”)
- The use o old oil may cause an important risk o strong boiling, o spatters or ire. It is
recommended to change it as soon as it becomes brown.
- Never put water on some ardent oil, but cover the ryer with the lid.
- Always keep the lid near the ryer.
- Always unplug your deep ryer a ter use..

3. CONFORMITY OF USE
Use the device only to cook and ry some ood.
4. WAY OF FUNCTIONING
These high power ryers enable you to increase your production o French ries per hour re-
garding to other models with normal power.
They are equipped with one stainless steel container (RFE 16 C) or two containers (RFE
20C), with a cold zone insuring a longer using o the oil. Indeed, the scraps are going to lay
down the bottom o the container, where the oil temperature is at the minimum, and do not
carbonize.
The setting o the temperature is made by the thermostat (s).
The model RFE 16 C is itted with a commutator (4-8-12KWp enabling to select the heating
power. The version RFE 20 C has two commutators or an independent control o the two
containers
To turn on your ryer and preheat the oil, set the commutator (n°2 on picture) on the desired
heating power and the thermostat control knob (n°4 on picture) on the desired position. The
orange pilot light (n°3 on picture) ignites until the desired temperature is reached.

5. FUNCTIONING / MANIPULATION
a) Installation / assembly:
- Unpack care ully the device o its packaging.
- Remove the protective ilm around the machine
- Screw up the handle on the lid.
- Place the ryer on a plane and heatproo sur ace.
- Never place the device near a wall or near a partition makes o combustible materials even
i it is very well isolated.
- A distance o minimum 10 cm with the partition or the wall is necessary.
- Place the product to enable easy access to the plug
- Then place all the accessories
- Keep the lid near the ryer to enable you covering it a ter use or in case o ire.
b) First starting:
Be ore the irst use, wash the machine and all accessories.

Connection of the device
- Check that the tension and the requency o the electricity network suit to the values indi-
cated on the descriptive plate.
- Check that neither the cord nor the plug are damaged
- Make sure that every control knob is positioned on 0.
- Unwind completely the electric power cable and connect it in a plug connected with the
earth.
- The device is connected.
The machines intended to be linked in a permanent way with the ixed pipes must be provid-
ed with a device o disconnection.
NB: in case o connection o the device in a plug without earth protection or directly on the
electricity network, con ide its connection to a quali ied person .
c) Use of device :
Putting on
- Make sure that the draining tap is closed.
- Insert the control unit into the slot being sure that it is pushed in all the way. The deep
ryer will not unction i the control unit is improperly inserted, the microswitch will
prevent operation.
- Pour oil into the container when heating elements are cold. The oil level must be be-
tween the MIN and MAX marks.
- Turn on the commutator (n°2 on picture) ont one o the position according to the de-
sired power
- Turn the thermostat control knob (n°3 on picture) to the desired position.
- When the orange pilot light is o , your deep ryer is ready or cooking.

REACH RULE
Never put the device among household waste.
The device must be put down in a centre o recycling or the electric equipment.
The materials o the device are indeed reusable. By eliminating correctly the electric and elec-
tronic wastes, the recycling and quite other shape o re-use o worn equipment, you participate

Conditions of guarantee
The guarantee applicable to any device is the commercial guarantee o the distributor or the
retailer. Please contact the store where you bought your device to know the precise conditions.
The guarantee grants no right or damages.

articles 1641 and ollowing ones o the Civil code relative to the de ects and the latent de ects.
Exclusion clauses of the guarantee
Bad installation and bad maintenance, in articular if they do not res ect current regula-
tions or instructions a earing in this user guide.
Cannot bene it rom the guarantee the repairs required as a result o alse operations, o inap-
propriate use, o carelessness or o excess loads o the device, as well as those resulting rom
variations o the power supply, over tension or rom de ective installations.
The damage due to shocks, bad weather is not latware by the guarantee. The material travels
at the risks o the user; in case o delivery by carrier, the consignee has to have reservations
towards the carrier be ore any delivery o the device.
The guarantee comes to an end in case o intervention, o repair, o modi ication by no quali-
ied persons, or o use in inappropriate purposes.

- Fill the basket in and plunge it slowly into the oil.
- When cooking is inished, li t the basket and set it on its stand.
Safety thermostat
In case of overheating or lack of oil, your dee fryer will automatically sto . Un lug it and
let it cool. Then check the oil level:
1) Oil level is too low: add some oil and reload the knob (n°2 on icture)
2) Oil is too old: change it and reload the knob (n°2 on icture)
3) Other cases: call your after sale service
Stopping the appliance
- Set the thermostat control knob to zero
- Set the commutator to zero
- Unplug the appliance.
- Let the device cool.
- Clean the appliance (See 6.Cleaning)
d) Breakdown / re air:
In case o breakdown or o damaged part, please call your a ter-sales service and con ide any
technical operation to quali ied person.
When you contact the a ter-sales service o your distributor or your store, give him the complete
re erence o your device (commercial name, type and serial number). This in ormation appears
on the visible descriptive plate behind the device.
6. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
- Let cool completely the device and the oil be ore any technical intervention or cleaning.
- Unplug the machine and remove the control unit be ore cleaning.
- For cleaning, only use non-abrasive products, clean regularly the external walls o your device
with warm water and wash liquid: avoid the abrasive towelling. Rinse your device with a wet
sponge.
- Caution : do not damage the heating element wires during cleaning
- Never clean the device under a water jet
- Never immerse the control unit in the water.
