INDICATIONS
• May be used for moderate to severe finger
spasticity or contractures
CONTRAINDICATIONS
• Not for use if uncontrolled edema or open
sores are present
PRECAUTIONS
• The splint should fit snugly and comfortably
without interfering with circulation.
•If unusual swelling, skin discoloration, or
discomfort occurs, use should be
discontinued and a healthcare professional
consulted.
CAREAND CLEANING
Fasten strap. Hand wash fabric in warm water and
mild soap. Do not wring. Dry at room temperature.
Be sure the splint is completely dry before
reapplying it.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
1. Place the thumb through the thumb holes in
both the splint and the thumb pad (A).
2. Open the fingers of the affected hand as far
as possible. If the hand is extremely tight, fold
the splint and slide it into the hand.
3. Line up the splint so it fits into the palm and
the finger separators are in position to slide
between the fingers.
4. Beginning with the index finger, slip the
fingers into position on the splint with the
separators upright between the fingers (B). If
necessary, pull gently on the finger
separators.
5. Bring the end of the strap across the hand
and secure it to the hook piece on the little
finger side.
6. If necessary, the material can be trimmed for
proper fit. Be careful to trim only to the
stitching (C).

Do not trim the finger separators.
7. Check for proper positioning. The thumb
should be on the outer surface of the thumb
pad and the fingers should rest on the palm
piece with the separators between them (D).

KONTRAINDIKATIONEN
• Nicht verwenden bei unkontrollierten Ödemen
oder offenen Läsionen
VORSICHTSMASSNAHMEN
•Die Schiene sollte fest und bequem sitzen
und die Durchblutung nicht behindern.
•Bei ungewöhnlicher Schwellung,
Hautverfärbung oder Unbequemlichkeit die
Schiene nicht länger verwenden und das
Krankenpflegepersonal verständigen.
PFLEGE UND REINIGUNG
Die Stütze entfernen und die Bänder befestigen.
Den Stoff mit der Hand mit warmem Wasser und
milder Seife waschen. Nicht auswringen. Bei
Raumtemperatur trocknen lassen. Vor dem
Wiederanlegen sicherstellen, daß die
Schiene/Manschette vollkommen trocken ist.
GEBRAUCHSANWEISUNG
1. Den Daumen durch die Daumenlöcher in der
Schiene und dem Daumenpolster stecken (A).
2. Die Finger der betroffenen Hand so weit wie
möglich öffnen. Wenn die Finger extrem
gekrümmt sind, die Schiene falten und in die
Hand schieben.
3. Die Schiene so ausrichten, daß sie in die
Handfläche paßt und daß die
Fingerseparatoren zwischen die Finger
geschoben werden können.
4. Angefangen mit dem Zeigefinger die Finger so
auf der Schiene plazieren, daß die
Separatoren aufrecht zwischen den Fingern
stehen (B). Evtl. vorsichtig an den Separatoren
ziehen.
5. Das Ende des Bandes über die Hand wickeln
und mit dem Hakenteil an der Seite des
kleinen Fingers befestigen.
6. Falls erforderlich kann das Material für eine
bessere Paßform zugeschnitten werden. Bitte
nur entlang der Naht schneiden (C).

Die Separatoren bitte nicht beschneiden.
7. Die Positionierung überprüfen. Der Daumen
sollte auf der Außenseite des Daumenpolsters
und die Finger durch die Separatoren getrennt
auf dem Handtellerteil liegen (D).

VOORZORGSMAATREGELEN
•De spalk moet stevig en comfortabel
passen zonder de bloedsomloop te
belemmeren.
•Indien ongewone zwelling, huidverkleuring
of ongemak optreedt, dient het gebruik te
worden gestaakt en moet contact worden
opgenomen met een medische
deskundige.
ONDERHOUD EN SCHOONMAKEN
Verwijder de balein en maak de klittenbanden
vast. Was de stof met de hand in warm water
en zachte zeep. Niet uitwringen. Op
kamertemperatuur laten drogen. Zorg dat de
splint of spalk volledig droog is voordat u deze
weer aanbrengt.
GEBRUIKSAANWIJZINGEN
1. Plaats de duim door de duimopeningen in
zowel de spalk als het duimkussentje (A).
2. Open de vingers van de betrokken hand zo
ver mogelijk. Als de hand uiterst gespannen
is, moet de spalk worden opgevouwen en in
de hand geschoven.
3. Plaats de spalk zodanig dat hij in de
handpalm past en de vingerscheiders tussen
de vingers geschoven kunnen worden.
4. Begin met de wijsvinger en schuif de vingers
op hun plaats in de spalk, met de
scheidingsstukken recht tussen de vingers
(B). Trek zo nodig licht aan de
vingerscheiders.
5. Breng het uiteinde van de band over de hand
en bevestig hem aan het stuk haakband aan
de zijde van de pink.
6. Zo nodig kan het materiaal worden afgeknipt
zodat het goed past. Wees voorzichtig met
het bijknippen op de naad (C).

De vingerscheiders niet bijknippen.
7. Controleer of de hand in de juiste positie is.
De duim moet op het buitenvlak van het
duimkussentje liggen en de vingers moeten,
met de scheidingsstukken ertussen, op het
handpalmstuk liggen (D).

PRÉCAUTIONS
•L’attelle doit être adjustée et
confortablement sans entraver la
circulation sanguine.
•En cas d’oedème, de décoloration cutanée
ou d’inconfort, le patient doit cesser de
porter l’attelle et consulter un professionnel
de la Santé.
ENTRETIEN ET NETTOYAGE
Retirer le tuteur et attacher les sangles. Laver le
tissu à la main avec de l’eau tiède et du savon
doux. Ne pas essorer. Laisser sécher à
température ambiante. S’assurer que l’attelle est
bien sèche avant de la remettre en place.
MODE D’EMPLOI
1. Placez le pouce en le passant dans les trous
de l’attelle et du coussin pour pouce. (A).
2. Ouvrez au maximum les doigts de la main
affectée. Si la main est extrêmement fermée,
pliez l’attelle et glissez-la dans la main.
3. Alignez l’attelle de sorte qu’elle soit bien dans
la paume et que les séparateurs de doigts
puissent se glisser entre les doigts.
4. En commençant par l’index, glissez les doigts
sur l’attelle avec les séparateurs dressés entre
les doigts (B). Au besoin, tirez doucement sur
les séparateurs de doigts.
5. Amenez l’extrémité de la bande sur la main et
fixez-la à la plaquette agrippante du côté du
petit doigt.
6. Au besoin, vous pouvez découper le matériau
pour lui donner la taille adéquate. Ne pas
découper au delà de la couture (C).

Ne pas découper les séparateurs de doigts.
7. Vérifiez que le positionnement est correct. Le
pouce doit être sur la surface extérieure du
coussin de pouce et les autres doigts doivent
reposer sur la pièce palmaire avec les
séparateurs entre eux (D).

INDICAZIONI

PRECAUZIONI
•Lo splint deve adattarsi alla mano,
aderendovi bene senza però ostacolare la
circolazione del sangue.
•In caso di gonfiore insolito, discromia
cutanea o disagio, l’uso dello splint va
interrotto e va consultato un medico.
CURA E PULIZIA
Rimuovere il supporto e chiudere le fascette.
Lavare a mano con acqua calda e detergente
neutro. Non strizzare. Fare asciugare a
temperatura ambiente. Assicurarsi che il supporto
sia completamente asciutto prima di riutilizzarlo.
ISTRUZIONI PER L’USO
1. Far passare il pollice attraverso gli appositi
fori presenti nello splint e nel cuscinetto per il
pollice (A).
2. Aprire le dita della mano interessata fin
quanto possibile. Se la mano non si apre a
sufficienza, piegare lo splint e farlo scivolare
nella mano.
3. Disporre lo splint in modo che aderisca al
palmo e che i separadita si trovino in
posizione tale da poter scivolare tra le dita.
4. A partire dall’indice, far scivolare i paradita in
posizione sullo splint con gli elementi di
separazione eretti tra le dita (B). Se
necessario, tirare lievemente i separadita.
5. Passare l’estremità della fascetta attraverso la
mano e fissarla al pezzo dal lato del mignolo.
6. Se necessario, il materiale può essere rifilato
per adattare meglio lo splint. Fare attenzione
a non rifilare sulle cuciture (C).

Non rifilare i separatori delle dita.
7. Verificare la giusta applicazione dello splint. Il
pollice deve essere sul lato esterno del
relativo cuscinetto e le dita devono riposare
sull’elemento palmare con i separadita tra
di loro (D).
INDICACIONES

espasticidades anulares de moderadas a

• No usar en caso de edema no controlado o
llagas abiertas
PRECAUCIONES
•La férula debe ajustarse perfecta y
cómodamente, sin impedir la circulación.
•Si se produce alguna molestia, inflamación
o descoloramiento cutáneo anómalos,
deberá suspenderse el uso del artículo y se
habrá de consultar con un profesional
médico.
CUIDADOY LIMPIEZA
Retirar el soporte metálico y adherir los cierres.
Lavar a mano la tela con agua caliente y jabón
suave. Escurrir sin retorcer. Secar a temperatura
ambiente. Asegurarse de que la férula o brazalete
estén completamente secos antes de volver a
colocárselo.
INSTRUCCIONES DE USO
1. Introduzca el pulgar a través de los orificios
específicos para el mismo presentes en la
férula y en la almohada para el dedo
pulgar (A).
2. Abra los dedos de la mano afectada tanto
como sea posible. Si nota una presión
excesiva, doble la férula y deslícela hacia la
mano.
3. Alinee la férula para que encaje en la palma y
para que los separadores anulares estén en
posición para poder deslizar los dedos entre
éstos.
4. Empezando por el dedo índice, introduzca los
dedos en su posición en la férula, con los
separadores en posición vertical entre los
dedos (B). Si es necesario, tire ligeramente de
los separadores anulares.
5. Haga pasar el extremo de la cinta por encima
de la mano y fíjelo a la lengüeta situada en el
lado del dedo meñique.
6. Si es necesario, puede recortarse el material
para que éste encaje bien. Recortar sólo
hasta el pespunte (C).

No recortar los separadores de dedos.
7. Compruebe que la colocación sea la
adecuada. El pulgar debe quedar en la
superficie exterior de la almohada para el
dedo pulgar y los otros dedos deben
descansar sobre la superficie palmar del
dispositivo, quedando separados por los
separadores correspondientes (D).
