A 24-volt linear actuator operated through a transformer, powers the Pillow Lift.
This greatly reduces the possibility of electrocution from the mains 240volts supply.
Two PP3 (9v) batteries provide emergency battery supply that will enable up to 3
emergency operations of your Pillow Lift. It is recommended however that the
batteries should be changed after 1 operation or every six months. These batteries
are available commercially from retail outlets.
The handset is touch button operated and has an indicator light to show the unit is
operating.
The maximum safe working load of the Pillow Lift is 255kgs (40st) do not exceed
this figure.

powered in one direction only, this is a safety feature that prevents the possibility of
a crushing incident when operating in the closing mode.
