1.1 EN: Intended use
ReTurn is used indoors for short-distance transfer of the user:
• between bed and wheelchair
• between wheelchair and toilet/mobile commode/ wheelchair
• between wheelchair/chair/armchair
The product can also be used to better position the user further back in a
chair.

ReTurn används inomhus vid kortare överflyttning av brukare;
• mellan säng och rullstol
• mellan rullstol och toalett/mobil toastol/rullstol
• mellan rullstol och stol/fåtölj
Produkten kan även användas för att förflytta längre bak i stol.
1.2 EN: Conditions for Use
To be able to use the ReTurn the user must be able to:
• adequately weight-bear, i.e.
• rise to a standing position (possibly with support) and to have reason
able balance
• be able to grip
• understand instructions
1.2 SE: Förutsättningar
För att förflytta med ReTurn skall brukaren kunna;
• belasta sina ben
• resa sig upp och ha balans (ev. med stöd)
• ha gripfunktion
• förstå instruktioner.
1.3 EN: : Special Instructions
• The product IS NOT to be used for other than short transfers.
• The carer must always counter-balance the user’s weight when
rising from sit-to-stand, when the user sits down and during the
transfer.

1.3 SE: Särskilda föreskrifter
• Produkten är INTE avsedd att användas för längre transporter.
• Medhjälparen skall alltid ge motvikt när brukaren reser sig upp,
sätter sig ned samt under själva överflyttningen.

1.4 EN: Checking Procedure
Check that the bolts/screws are properly secured before the product is used. Periodic and an-
nual checks by a technician are recommended, or more frequent inspection for heavy use.
Checks to be carried out by a technician.
1.4 SE: Kontroll
Kontrollera skruvarna i anslutning till att produkten tagits i bruk och därefter skall regelbun-
den översyn av fackman ske. Kontroll av produkten bör ske årligen samt när behov föreligger
eller vid särskild frekvent användning. Kontroll och service skall utföras av fackman.
1.6 EN: Carrying the base-plate
The base plate may be carried with the nylon strap that is supplied with
the Ross ReTurn. Pull the strap through the two holes underneath the
base plate. Close the lock by pressing down the clip.
1.6 SE: Att bära chassiet
Bottenplattan kan bäras med hjälp av en bärrem som medföljer. Dra
remmen genom de två hålen på bottenplattans undersida, stäng låset
genom att trycka ned klaffen.
1.5 EN: Accessories, U-handle:
• When further grip options are required, the handle provides a
horizontal grip at two levels and also an intermediate vertical grip.
• When the handle is placed at its highest level the handle bar
height is increased by 20cm for the taller user.
• When the user is leaning forward the U-handle provides a larger
body support area.
1.5 SE: Tillbehör, U-handtag:
• När behov av fler greppmöjligheter önskas. Handtaget ger hori-
sontalgrepp på två höjder samt vertikal grepp däremellan.
• För långa personer. När handtaget placeras i sin högsta position
förhöjs hjälpmedlet med 20 cm.
• När brukaren lutar sig framåt ger U-handtaget en större stödyta.
1.7 EN: Cleaning of the Product
• Use a soft cloth and mild detergent (washing-up liquid or car shampoo) when you clean
ReTurn. Do not use sharp tools that may scratch the base-plate or stem.
• Do NOT use solvents.
• When required 70% alcohol may be used.
1.7 SE: Rengöring av produkten
• Använd en mjuk trasa och milda rengöringsmedel så som diskmedel eller bilschampo när
du tvättar ReTurn. Använd ej hårda redskap vid rengöring av
bottenplattan.
• Använd EJ lösningsmedel.
• Vid behov av desinficering kan 70 % alkohol användas.

2. EN: ASSESSMENT
2. SE: UTPROVNING
2.1 EN: Positioning of the feet
Position the feet forward on either side of the stem so that
the feet are placed above the axle of the middle wheels of
the base plate..
2.1 SE: Placering av fötterna
Fötterna placeras på var sida om mittstolpen och så långt
fram att de kommer över mitthjulens axel.
2.2 EN: Adjustment of the knee-
brace/support
The knee-brace is adjusted so that the upper edge is posi-
tioned 3 cm (one inch +) under the knee cap. Tighten the
adjustment knob.
2.2 SE: Justering av underbensstöd
Underbensstödet justeras in så att övre kanten av plattan
ligger ca 3 cm/två fingrar under knäskålens nedre kant/
ledspringan. Drag åt vredet.
2.3 EN: Adjustment of the user’s handle
The handle is to be placed at a comfortable height for the
user. Tighten the adjustment knob.
2.3 SE: Justering av brukar handtag
Handtaget placeras på lämplig höjd för brukaren. Drag åt
vredet.
2.4 EN: Locking of the wheels
Place the foot on the brake pad so that the brake pad
comes into a horizontal position (see picture 2.4).
Repeat procedure on the second wheel to ensure that both
wheels are locked.
2.4 SE: Låsning av hjulen
Trampa på bromsplattan så att den ställs helt plant,
(se bild 2.4).
Gör likadant på andra hjulet för att låsa bägge.
2.5 EN: Unlocking of the wheels
Place the foot on the brake pad so that the brake pad
becomes angled (see picture 2.5).

3.1 EN: Transfer between bed and wheelchair
3.1 SE: Överförflyttning mellan säng och rullstol
EN: Place the wheelchair a short distance from the bed to
provide sufficient working space. Lock the wheels of the
wheelchair.
SE: Placera rullstolen en bit ut från sängen för att få tillräcklig
arbetsyta. Lås rullstolens hjul.
EN: Place the user’s feet on the base plate. The user grips
the handle, moves forward (head over toes) and gets into a
standing position.
SE: Placera brukarens fötter på bottenplattan.
Brukaren greppar, lutar sig fram och reser sig upp.
EN: Pull the ReTurn back a little and then in the direction
of the wheelchair.
SE: Dra ReTurn en bit bakåt för att sedan styra in mot
rullstolen.
EN: Steer the ReTurn firmly in between the wheels of the
wheelchair to achieve a good seating posture for the user.
Before the user sits down, counterbalance the user’s
weight.
SE: Styr in tillräckligt långt för en god placering i rullsto-
len. Innan brukaren sätter sig ned ger medhjälparen mot-
vikt.

två medhjälpare.
EN: RoMedic Belts provides further grip options and
helps to stimulate the user to lean forward. The carer
stimulates the user’s forward bending action and supports
the rise-to-stand movement.
SE: RoMedics Vårdbälte ger greppmöjligheter och under-
lättar att stimulera brukaren att luta sig framåt. Medhjälpa-
ren stimulerar brukaren till framåtböjning och stödjer upp-
resningen.
EN: During transfer to toilet allow enough space so that
the carer can assist the user with undressing/dressing.
The cut-out in the base plate enables the user to move suf-
ficiently far back to provide a good seating posture on the
toilet.
SE: Vid förflyttning till toalettstol medges utrymme för
medhjälparen att assistera brukaren med byxor.
Urtaget i bakkanten på bottenplattan gör att brukaren
kommer tillräckligt långt bak för att få en bra sittposition
på toalettstolen.
