9. Starting Up
Put the Rainbow in my Room on a stable surface and use under supervision.
Position the crystal on a window to create prisms from sunlight.
10. Detailed Description
The Rainbow in my Room has two modes, instant or fade. Creates enchanting effects for
visual stimulation. Projects a realistic looking rainbow onto your wall or ceiling. Perfect for
bedrooms and home use. With LED lights for maintenance-free use.

13. Installation
1. Make sure product is switched OFF before installing batteries. A competent adult
should install the batteries.
2. Locate the battery compartment.
3. Using a small Philips (cross-head/positive) screwdriver, remove the battery
compartment cover.
4. Install 4 AAA alkaline batteries observing the polarity (+/-) indicated.
5. Replace the battery compartment cover. Do not over-tighten the screw.
6. If using an AC adapter, connect this to the AC adapter jack socket at the base of the unit.
7. Slide the Mode switch on the underside to the desired Mode: Mode 1: turns the
rainbow on at once Mode 2: turns the rainbow on one colour at a time
8. Press the button on top of the rainbow to switch it ON/OFF. If left on, the Rainbow
will switch itself off automatically after 10 minutes. If you are using an adapter, the
unit will stay on until the ON/OFF button is pressed. Switch the product off after use
to save power. In Modes 1 and 2, the product is always drawing a small amount of
power so switch off after use!

14. Care and Maintenance
Keep dry
Do not immerse in water.
Replace the batteries as necessary.
Wipe clean with a very slightly damp clean cloth
Battery Care
Install the batteries as indicated, observing the polarity +/-
Do not mix old and new batteries
Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon zinc) or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium)
batteries
Alkaline batteries are recommended for use with this product
Remove weak or dead batteries
Remove batteries if the product will be out of use for long periods
Rechargeable batteries are not recommended
Do not short circuit the supply terminals
Do not attempt to dispose of batteries by burning them –dispose of them
appropriately Use batteries of the correct specification
15. Troubleshooting
In the unlikely event that your Rainbow In My Room does not work, check:
The batteries –are they the correct way round, observing the polarity?
The batteries –are they old and in need of new ones?
The location of your product –the function of this product may be disturbed by strong
electro-magnetic interference. If this does not correct itself, try the product in a different
location.

13. Instalação
1. Verifique se o produto está desligado antes de instalar as pilhas. Um adulto competente
deve instalar as pilhas.
2. Localize o compartimento das pilhas.
3. Utilizando uma chave de estrela, remova a cobertura do compartimento das pilhas.
4. Instale 4 pilhas AAA observando a polaridade (+/-) indicada.
5. Volte a colocar a cobertura do compartimento das pilhas. Não aperte o parafuso em
demasia.
6. Alterne entre dois modos mudando a posição da switch:
modo 1: liga o arco-íris de imediato
modo 2: liga o arco-íris numa cor de cada vez
7. Pressione o botão na topo do arco-íris para ligar e desligar. Se for deixado ligado, o
arco-íris irá desligar-se automaticamente após 10 minutos. Se estiver a utilizar um
adaptador AC, a unidade irá ficar ligado até que o botão de ligar/desligar, seja
pressionado. Desligue o produto depois de utilizar para poupar energia. No modo 1 e
2, o sensor está sempre a consumir uma pequena quantidade de energia, portanto,
desligue-o após a utilização!

Não imergir na água
Substitua as pilhas quando for necessário
Limpe com um pano ligeiramente húmido
Cuidados com as pilhas
instale as pilhas como indicado, observando a polaridade +/-
não misture pilhas novas com pilhas velhas
não misture pilhas alcalinas, normais e recarregáveis
é recomendada a utilização de pilhas alcalinas neste produto
remova as pilhas fracas ou gastas
remova as pilhas se o produto não for utilizado por um longo período de tempo
não é recomendada a utilização de pilhas recarregáveis
não coloque os terminais das pilhas em curto-circuito
não deite as pilhas para o lume quando se desfizer delas –coloque-as no pilhão
utilize pilhas com as especificações correctas
15. Resolução de Problemas
Na eventualidade do seu Arco-íris na minha sala deixar de funcionar, verifique:
As pilhas –estão na posição correcta, observando a polaridade?
As pilhas –estão gastas e são necessárias novas?
A localização do produto –o funcionamento deste produto pode ser perturbado por
fortes interferências electromagnéticas. Se isto não se corrigir automaticamente,
experimente o produto em outra localização.
