sure that the final product is of a

less, these devices can be danger-
ous if they are not used and installed

Intended use and operation
Zur bestimmungsgemäßen Verwen-
dung gehört auch das Einhalten der
in dieser Betriebsanleitung be-
schriebenen Vorgehensweisen bei
Montage, Betrieb und Instandhal-
tung.
Intended use means keeping the de-
scribed terms in this operating man-
ual during mounting, use and
maintenance.
Die Türluftschleier dürfen erst be-
trieben werden, wenn sie ihrer Be-
stimmung entsprechend eingebaut
sind und die Sicherheit durch
Schutzeinrichtungen nach DIN EN
13857 sicherg

stellt ist.

ed when they are installed as intend-

4 Allgemeine Beschreibung /
Description
Die neue und attraktive Generation Rosen-
berg Türluftschleier ist die ideale Lösung
um ein angenehmes Klima in Industriebe-
trieben, Verkaufsräumen und öffentlichen
Gebäuden zu erhalten, bei denen die Ein-
gangstüren oder Tore offenstehen oder
häufig geöffnet werden.
Die Rosenberg Türluftschleier erzeugen
einen Luftstrom im Eingangsbereich und
agieren als unsichtbare Grenze, welche die
Luft im Rauminneren effektiv von der Au-
ßenluft abschirmt. Somit lassen sich nicht
nur die Heiz- und Kühlkosten reduzieren,
sondern zugleich den Komfort für Anwe-
sende, Angestellte und Kunden erhöhen.
Die Rosenberg Türluftschleier sind ein
Schutz vor Kälte und Hitze und minimieren
das Eindringen von Staub, Abgasen, Ver-
schmutzungen und Insekten in das Gebäu-
de.
The new and attractive generation of Ros-
enberg air curtains is the ideal solution to
maintain a comfortable interior climate in
industrial companies, commercial outlets
and public buildings that need to keep their
doors open or in cases when these are
frequently opened.
Rosenberg air curtains generate an air
stream layer over the entrance and act as
an invisible barrier which efficiently divides
the inside environment from the outside
one. Therefore, additional to substantial
reduction of heating and cooling expenses
there is a comfort increase for present per-
sons, employee, and clients.
Rosenberg air curtains are a protection
from cold and heat, repel exhaust fumes,
dusts and minimize insects entering the
building.

5 Einsatzbedingungen /
Condition of use
Rosenberg Türluftschleier sind für folgende
Einsätze geeignet:
• saubere Luft
• Medium Luft bis zur max. Luftdichte von
1,3 kg/m
3
• Medium Luft mit einer Temperatur von
- 30 °C bis + 40 °C
(zugelassene höhere Fördermitteltem-
peraturen sind auf dem Typenschild
oder dem Produktaufkleber angezeigt)
• Die Umgebungstemperatur sollte immer
über +4 °C liegen. Andernfalls ist ein
Frostschutzwächter einzusetzen.
• Luftschleier dürfen NICHT in chlorhalti-
ger und korrosiver Umgebung einge-
setzt werden.
• Die Baureihen WINDBOX und KOOL
sind auf Anfrage mit einem Edelstahl-
gehäuse erhältlich.
Rosenberg air curtains can be used for
ventilation of:
• clean air
• medium air up to an atmospheric densi-
ty of 1,3 kg/m3
• medium air passing through with a
temperature of -30 °C up to + 40 °C
(allowed higher passing through tem-
peratures will be shown on the type
plate or product label)
• The ambient temperature should be
always over +4 ºC, otherwise it will be
necessary to provide an anti-frost pro-
tection device.
• air curtains MUST NOT be installed in
corrosive environment containing chlo-
rine.
• the types WINDBOX and KOOL can be
delivered with stainless steel casing on
request
5.1 Betrieb gemäß ErP-Richtlinie /
Operation according to ErP-Directive
Gemäß Verordnung 1253/2014/EU müs-
sen Ventilatoren im Geltungsbereich
mindestens „3-Stufig + AUS“ betrieben
werden.
Je nach eingebautem
Motor ergeben sich für
Rosenberg Ventilatoren diese benannten
Varianten.
• Ventilator mit AC-Motor:
optionales Steuergerät (transformato-
risch) oder integrierte Drehzahlregelung
• Ventilator mit EC-Motor:
integrierte Drehzahlregelung
Verantwortlich für den konformen, mehrstu-
figen Betrieb ist der Betreiber. Entsprechen-
de Schaltgeräte sind als Zubehör verfügbar.

6 Lagerung, Transport /
Storage, Transport
• Lagern Sie den Türluftschleier in seiner
Originalver ackung trocken und wetterge-
schützt.
• Store the air curtain on a dry place and
weather protected in its original pack-
ing.
• Cover open palettes with a tarpaulin
and protect the air curtains against in-
fluence of dirt (i.e. stones, splinters,
wires, etc.).
• Decken Sie offene Paletten mit Planen
ab und schützen Sie die Türluftschleier
vor Schmutzeinwirkung (z.B. Steine,
Späne, Kabel, usw.).

• Halten Sie Lagertemperaturen zwi-
schen - 20 °C und + 40 °C ein.
• Storage temperatures between - 20 °C
and + 40 °C.
• Transportieren Sie den Türluftschleier
mit den geeigneten Lastaufnahmemit-

Der ausgepackte Türluftschleier ist auf
Transportschäden zu überprüfen. Beschä-
digte Luftschleier dürfen nicht montiert wer-
den!
Im Gefahrenbereich müssen alle leitfähigen
Teile an ein Potentialausgleichssystem
angeschlossen werden!
The unpacked air curtain is to be checked
for transport damages. Damaged air cur-
tains must not be installed!
In hazardous areas connect components to
an equipotential bonding system.
Für alle Türluftschleier gilt: The following applies for all air curtains:
• Verformungen und Verlagerungen dür-
fen nicht zum Anschlagen oder Schlei-
fen bewegter Teile führen
• Warping and shifting must not result in
knocking or grinding of moving parts.
• Keine Gewalt (hebeln, biegen) anwen-
den.
• Die Türluftschleier (außer die Typen
RUND und ZEN) können ohne Öffnen
der Servicetüre montiert und ange-
schlossen werden. Alle Anschlüsse be-
finden sich auf dem Gerät oder auf der
Stirnseite (Netz-, Regelungs-, ggf.
Wasseranschlüsse).
• Bei den Modellen RUND und ZEN
muss das Gerät oder die Servicetüre
geöffnet werden, weil sich alle An-
schlüsse im Gerät befinden.
• Befestigung an allen Befestigungspunk-
ten mit geeigneten Befestigungsmitteln.
• Elektroanschluss nach technischen
Anschlussbedingungen und den ent-
sprechenden Vorschriften lt. beigefüg-
tem Schaltbild
• Do not apply force (levering, bending).
• The air curtains (except type RUND and
ZEN) can be mounted without opening
the service door. All necessary
connections are placed on the top
or the lateral side of the unit.
• The device must be opened or the ser-
vice door at models RUND and ZEN
because all connections are inside the
air curtain.
• Fastening at all fastening points must
be carried out with suitable means of
mounting.
• Electrical wiring must be done in ac-
cordance with technical connection
regulations, local ordinances and na-
tional electric codes as per enclosed
wiring diagram in the terminal box.

7.1 OPTIMA
Montage / Installation
Befestigung:
Die Türluftschleier sind mit genormten Ge-
winden ausgestattet. Die Befestigung kann
über Gewindestangen oder direkt an den
optional erhältlichen Wand-/Decken-
konsolen erfolgen.
Fastening:
The air curtains are equipped with standard
threads. They can be mounted with thread-
ed rods or directly to any support available
as accessory.

Installation:

Netzanschluss:
Der Netzanschluss erfolgt über einen
schwarzen Klemmkasten auf dem Luft-
schleier. Hierfür muss der Türluftschleier
nicht geöffnet werden.
Luftschleier als Umluft oder mit Warmwas-
serheizregister werden an 1~230V ange-
schlossen.
Luftschleier mit Elektroheizregister werden
je nach Typ an 3~400V oder an 1~230V
angeschlossen.
Electrical connection:
The mains connection is made using a
black terminal box on the top of the air cur-
tain. For this, the air curtain must not be
opened.
Air curtain only air or hot water coil are con-
nected to 1~230V.
Air curtains with electric heating element
are connected to 3~400V or 1~230V de-
pending on the type.

Montage / Installation
Befestigung:
Die Türluftschleier sind mit genormten Ge-
winden ausgestattet. Die Befestigung kann
über Gewindestangen oder direkt an den
optional erhältlichen Wand-/Decken-
konsolen erfolgen.
Vertikale und horizontale Installation mög-
lich. Bei der vertikalen Montage muss der
Montagefuß verwendet werden (optional
erhältlich).
Fastening:
The air curtains are equipped with standard
threads. They can be mounted with thread-
ed rods or directly to any support available
as accessory.
Vertical and horizontal installation is possi-
ble. For vertical installation a foot must be
used (available as optional accessory).

Netzanschluss:
Der Netzanschluss erfolgt über einen
Klemmraum, direkt am Luftschleier. Hierfür
muss der Türluftschleier nicht geöffnet wer-
den.
Luftschleier als Umluft oder mit Warmwas-
serheizregister werden an 1~230V ange-
schlossen.
Electrical connection:
The mains connection is made using the
terminal box, direct at the air curtain. For
this, the air curtain must not be opened.
Air curtain only air or hot water coil are con-
nected to 1~230V.
