(3.1) Defekte Kontaktbaugruppe abschneiden, Teilabmanteln mit Werkzeug 1,
Länge prüfen mit Werkzeug 3
Cut off damaged contact assembly, partial stripping by tool 1, check length by tool 3
(3.1.1) Werkzeug 1 öffnen, Kabel in die Schneidöffnung legen. Werkzeug schließen,
um Leiter durchzutrennen.
Open tool 1, insert cable into cutting opening and close tool to cut wire to length.
(3.1.2) Zum Teilabmanteln das Kabel bis zum Anschlag in die mittlere Öffnung des
Werkzeuges einlegen.
For partial stripping insert cable into the central opening of the tool until stop.

Pull the cable sheath back a few millimetres until a small gap is visible.

The cable sheath gap requires the correct length L1 for following crimping. Using
the gauge in tool 3, the shell cut produced in step 3.1.5 can be increased to the
correct length L1.

Crimping of the support sleeve by tool 2
(3.2.1) Federnde Kabelzentrierung komplett nach unten drücken, Stützhülse (symmetrisch)
mit der Öffnung nach oben in den Zwischenraum einlegen, auf Anschlag schieben und
federnde Kabelzentrierung loslassen, Stützhülse wird fixiert.
Push spring loaded cable centering down completely and insert support sleeve
(symmetrically) with opening showing upwards and push it to the back. Loosen cable
centering, support sleeve will be fixed.
(3.2.2) Kabel einlegen bis Kabelmantel an die federnde Kabelfixierung stößt.
Werkzeug schließen. Stützhülse wird auf Leitung gecrimpt.
Insert cabel until cable sheath gets in contact with the cable locator.
Close the tool. Support sleeve gets crimped to cable.

(3.3.1) Kabel bis zum Anschlag in die Öffnung schieben. Beweglicher
Anschlagstift wird herausgedrückt. Bei geschlossenem Verschluss (Messer) an
Messerentriegelung ziehen, um anschließend Kabel richtig zu positionieren.

(3.3.2) Verschluss (Messer) nach unten drücken und einrasten. Kabel weiterhin gegen den
Anschlag drücken.
Press down the closure (blade) until it locks. Keep the cable pressed against the stop.
(3.3.3) Abisoliereinheit mehrfach drehen, um die Folie einzuschneiden.
Turn the stripping unit multiple times to cut-in the foil.
(3.3.4) An der Messerentriegelung ziehen. Verschluss (Messer) öffnet sich. Beweglichen
Anschlagsstift in Richtung des Werkzeuges drücken, damit Kabel herausgeschoben
wird. Achtung: eventuelle Abisolierreste können mit einem dünnen Stift durch die
integrierte Bohrung entfernt werden.
Pull at the blade release. Closure (Blade) opens. Push the indicator pin in direction
of the tool so that the cable slides out. Caution: possible stripping waste can be
removed by the help of a thin pin inserted into the hole.

Pull off cut foil.
(3.3.6) Kabel bis zum Anschlag in die rechte Öffnung einlegen. Werkzeug schließen.
Insert cable into the right opening until stop. Close the tool.
(3.3.7) Kabel aus dem geschlossenen Werkzeug gerade nach vorne herausziehen.
Pull out the cable straight forwards from the closed tool.

(3.4) Crimpen des Innenleiters mit Werkzeug 3
Crimping of the inner contact by tool 3
(3.4.1) Das Werkzeug muss geöffnet sein. Bolzen auf der Rückseite bis
zum Anschlag drücken um den Innenleiter in die Innenleiteraufnahme einlegen zu
können. Die Crimpöffnung muss nach oben gerichtet sein.
The tool needs to be open. Press the bolt on the rear side as far as it will go to insert
the inner contact into the inner contact holder. The crimp opening must face upwards.
Achtung! Um Beschädigungen an der Innenleiteraufnahme zu vermeiden,
darf das Werkzeug nicht geschlossen werden.
Attention! To avoid damage to the inner conductor holder, the tool must
not be closed.
(3.4.2) Bolzen loslassen und darauf achten, dass die Innenleiteraufnahme in die
Ausgangsposition zurückfedert. Distanzblech betätigen. Leitung einlegen, bis diese an
Distanzblech anstößt. Werkzeug schließen und anschließend öffnen, um Leitung mit
gecrimpten Innenleiter entnehmen zu können.
Release the bolt. Ensure that the inner contact holder is released back to the starting
position. Push the distance plate. Insert cable until it hits the distance plate. Close the
tool and then open it, to remove the cable with crimped inner contact.

(3.4.3) Das Werkzeug ist geöffnet. Außenleiter mit Crimpöffnung nach oben in
Positionierer einlegen.
The tool is open. Insert outer contact opening upwards in locator.
(3.4.4) Leitung mit gecrimptem Innenkontakt so weit in den Kuppler einschieben, bis Pin auf
der Rückseite des Positionierers sichtbar heraustritt.
Insert wire with crimped inner contact as far into the outer contact until the pin comes
out on the backside of the locator.
