ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
The rotacaster stair climber hand truck comes mostly assembled. However,
in an effort to reduce freight costs to you, minimal assembly is required.
Parts:One(1) stair climber hand truck frame; two(2) tri star
mounts; two(2) sets of ‘R’ clips and washers.
Tools needed:knife
Instructions: 1.) Remove all parts from packaging.
2.) Position the stair climber on a safe flat surface such as the
for or a bench and lay the stair climber so the front is facing
downwards (Fig. A).
3.) Align tri star mounts on either side of the stair climber
frame (Fig. B). Slide the tri star mounts onto the axle shaft.
4.) Fit washer to axle shaft then fit ‘R’ clip by inserting pin
through the hole in the axel shaft.

SAFE OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
ATTENTION: PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE USING YOUR STAIR CLIMBER!
Designed by Rotacaster Wheel Limited in Australia, the rotacaster stair
climber enables safe transport of goods when used correctly. Always follow
correct loading and lifting procedures when using the stair climber (Fig. C).
Ensure items being loaded on the rotacaster stair climber do not exceed the
recommended working load. Exceeding this load could result in damaged
goods or serious injury to operator. Never leave the rotacaster stair climber
unattended while loaded.
FEATURES OF THE ROTACASTER STAIR CLIMBER
Direct tracking capability and improved steering control.
360° movement providing easy rotational and direct lateral (sideways) ma-
noeuvrability without causing damage to floors.
Easy repositioning of the load laterally across the width of a stair to safely
negotiate stair landings and other confined spaces.
Designed with reference to the Australian Construction Standards, the wheel
base enables a safe resting position on a single step, greatly reducing the
risk of a runaway load.
Easy clearance of stair nosing avoiding contact and damage of stairs.
Provides rotational and lateral (direct sideways) maneuverability in confined
spaces such as lifts, corridors and storerooms.
Excellent tracking characteristics, even across trafficable inclines.
The fixed orientation of the 4 multi-directional rotacasters provide a static
wheelbase that ensures a stable load environment with unrivalled maneuver-
ability.
