RouterBOARD 2011U/L/iL series
Quick Setup Guide and Warranty Information
The RB2011U/L is a small form factor ethernet router with 5 Gigabit Ethernet ports an 5 Fast Ethernet ports an an SFP cage.
The RB2011U series inclu es four mo els, RB2011UAS‐IN (USB, SFP, in oor case), RB2011UiAS‐RM (USB, SFP, rackmount case),
RB2011UAS‐2HnD (a s wireless AP function) an RB2011UAS‐2HnD‐IN (a s in oor case)
The RB2011L/iL series inclu es five mo els, RB2011L, RB2011L‐IN (Desktop case), RB2011iLS‐IN (Desktop case, SFP port) an RB2011iL‐RM
(rackmount case) an RB2011LS (with SFP port).
First use
The evice comes preinstalle with RouterOS an is rea y to use. RB2011 is compatible with RouterOS v5.9 an newer, if
your evice comes preinstalle with an earlier version, please upgra e before using it.
The Ethernet ports 2---10 have a efault IP a ress for connecting: 192.168.88.1 username is dmin an there is no p ssword.
Please connect with your web browser to this IP a ress an choose Webfig to configure it. Ether1 is configure as a DHCP
client, for connecting to your ISP.

Powering
The evice accepts powering from either the power jack, or from the LAN1 Ethernet port:
• Direct --- input power jack (5.5mm outsi e an 2mm insi e iameter, female, pin positive plug) accepts
8 --- 30V DC (overvoltage protection starts at 30V).
• Eth1 port accepts 8---30V DC input (at the boar ; higher voltage nee e to compensate for power loss on long cables)
from non---stan ar (passive) Power over Ethernet injectors. The boar does not work with IEEE802.3af compliant 48V
power injectors
• The IN an RM mo els inclu e a 110/220V PSU which is alrea y plugge into the power jack insi e the case
Extension Slots and Ports
• Five 10/100/1000 (Gigabit) Ethernet ports (Auto MDI/X)
• Five 10/100 (Fast) Ethernet ports (Auto MDI/X)
• One 8 --- 30V DC power jack
• SFP port for SFP mo ule (mo ule not inclu e , works only with Gigabit mo ules)
• (only on RB2011UAS --- 2HnD --- IN) built in wireless AP (2GHz , 802.11b/g/n), with external antennas.

Resetting the de ice
In case you wish to return the evice to its original configuration, you can use the RESET button (image Reset1). Hol this
button uring boot time until LED lights start flashing, then release the button to reset RouterOS configur tion. You can use
this proce ure if you have forgotten the passwor to access the evice, or simply wish to return the unit to its efault config---
uration state.
Buttons and Jumpers
• RouterBOOT reset button (image Reset1) has several functions:
 Hol the button before powering on the evice, an at power up, the button will force loa the backup boot---
loa er. Continue hol ing the button for the other two functions of this button:
 Release the button when green LED starts flashing, to reset RouterOS configuration. To not loa backup boot---
loa er, you can start hol ing the button after power is alrea y applie
 Release the button after LED is no longer flashing (~20 secon s) to cause evice to look for Netinstall servers
(require for reinstalling RouterOS over network)
• RouterOS reset jumper hole (image Reset2): resets RouterOS software to efaults. Hol screw river presse to this
reset hole, an boot the evice. Hol screw river in place until RouterOS configuration is cleare (10 secon s).
Operating System Support
Currently teste operating system is MikroTik RouterOS (starting from version 5.9).
