Important Safeguards
When using your Royal Café, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, property damage and
personal injury. These precautions include:
Risk of Burns • Allow to cool before putting on or taking off the Piston, and before cleaning.
• The use of any accessories or attachments not recommended by Royal Prestige®
may cause injuries, including burns and will void any warranty.
• Always use a burner similar in diameter to the Royal Café. If using a gas stove, the
flame should just touch the bottom of the Pitcher. The flame should not extend
up the side of the Pitcher.
• Extreme caution must be used when moving the Royal Café containing hot liquid.
• Aer brewing, the coffee will be EXTREMELY HOT, so we recommend being careful
when serving and wait until it cools down before drinking it.
• DO NOT place your Royal Café directly on a table, while hot. Always place it on top of a
heat-resistant surface.
Dangers
Related to Misuse
• Temperatures can vary from one stove to another. In general, when the Redi-Temp®
valve whistles, it indicates that you need to immediately and carefully remove the
Royal Café from the stove.
• Do not use your Royal Café without the Pitcher handle attached.
• Check the handle prior to use, ensuring any loose screws are well tightened. If there is a
loose screw, it can easily be tightened with a 10mm socket wrench.
• Do not operate your Royal Café if it has malfunctioned or has been damaged in any
manner. Return your Royal Café to the Royal Prestige Service Center for inspection
or repair.
• The Royal Café is not intended to be used by children.
• Do not use your Royal Café for any purpose other than intended.
• When brewing with your Royal Café, we recommend using between medium and
medium-high temperature. Using higher temperatures may cause liquid to overflow.
• If your Royal Café is dropped or broken, inspect for damage before using. If any parts
have been dislodged or you are unsure – DO NOT USE. Have your Royal Café inspected
by the Royal Prestige Service Center.

Troubleshooting/FAQ
Condition Reason and Solution
Water Spots Water spots (scaling) may occur due to the water condition
in your area. To remove them, apply RoyalShine™ (the
exclusive, non-abrasive stainless steel cleanser by Royal
Prestige®) onto the dry utensil and rub in a circular motion
with a paper towel. Once the stain is removed, wash pan in
warm, soapy water and dry immediately.
Color on Surface When using your Royal Café on a daily basis, yellow, bronze,
blue, or rainbow tints may appear on the stainless steel
surface. These tints are harmless and do not affect the
performance of the utensil.
Surface Scratches Stainless steel can scratch if handled incorrectly. Scratches
do not affect coffeemaker performance, and therefore are
not considered defects in workmanship or material.
