Thank you for purchasing the RDH-045EA/RDH-065EA Dehumidifier. This manual will pro-
vide you with complete operating and maintenance instructions.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
1. After use of the Dehumidifier, the user should turn the unit off by pressing the "On/Off" button.
2. Avoid using the power cord in a wet or damp place.
3. If the unit has been properly connected and there is no power have the power cord and the
dehumidifier unit checked by a qualified electrician. Do not open the machine yourself there are
no user serviceable parts inside.
4. Always keep the unit in an up-right position to avoid water leakage.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Place on a flat sturdy surface.
2. Plug the power cord into the appropriate outlet.
3. Press the "On/Off" button to turn the unit on.
4. Select a humidity level (continuous, low, medium or high)
5. Select a speed (low, medium or high)
6. When the water tank is full the
"FULL" indicator will light up. In this
case the tank should be removed
and emptied.
7. To turn the unit off, press the
"On/Off" button again.

REMOVABLE WATER TANK
When the water tank is full with approximately 2.2 gallons (18 pints) of water, the unit will
automatically shut off and the "FULL" indicator will be lit.
Empty the water tank manually:
To remove the water tank, turn the dehumidifier off by pressing the "On/Off" button. Remove
the water tank from the unit and pour the water out in a toilet or sink. Place the water tank back
into the unit. To continue dehumidifying, press the "On/Off" button to again.
Continuous Drainage:
The housing of the bucket has a threaded
hose connection which can be modified for
continuous drainage. Drill a 1/4" (6.4mm) -
1/2" (13mm) hole in the center of the hose
connection. Attach a garden hose (make
sure the hose is not bent and has no kinks)
to the threaded bucket drain hose
connection. Water will then continuously
drain through the hose to a drain lower than the level of the hose connection.
MAINTENANCE
To clean the unit, turn the dehumidifier off and unplug it from the outlet. Use a dry soft cloth to
clean the surface grills.
The air filter should be checked and cleaned at least every 2 weeks. Remove the air filter located
on the back of the unit by slightly pressing the two tabs and pull out.
Wash the air filter with warm water and let it dry. Once the filter is dry you can place it back in the unit.
After removing the air filter, clean the
coil on the inside with a soft brush to
remove any soft and wet soil. Do not
spay cleaner or allow water to enter
the machine.

Make sure the dehumidifier plug is pushed com-
pletely into the outlet.
Check the house fuse or circuit breaker box and
replace the fuse or reset the breaker.
The dehumidifier automatically turns off when this
occurs. Empty the bucket.
Make sure the bucket is in the right place.
When first installed, allow at least 3 or 4 days to
maintain the desired dryness.
Make sure there are no curtains, blinds or furniture
blocking the front or back of the dehumidifier.
Check that all doors, windows and other openings
are securely closed.
Install the dehumidifier away from the dryer. The
dryer should be vented to the outside.
The built-in protectve device is in action, making the
unit unable to be switched on to avoid operations of
the unit under a seriously unfavorable condition. Do
not use the dehumidifier under such circumstance.

Royal Sovereign International will repair or replace this product if it is found to be defective in mate-
rial or workmanship. Defective product must be returned to Royal Sovereign International, freight
prepaid, with proof of purchase and Return Shipping & Handling payment (check or money order).
Upon repair or replacement the product will be returned to the customer.
Return defective product to the following address with a detailed description of the problem. If pos-
sible, pack in original carton. Please prepay shipping charges.

PRECAUCIONES DE SEGURIDAD
1. Después de usar el deshumidificador, el usuario debe apagar la unidad presionando el botón
"On/Off " (encendido/apagado.)
2. Evite usar el cable de alimentación en un lugar mojado o húmedo.
3. Si la unidad se conectó adecuadamente y no tiene energía, haga que un perito electricista
revise el cable de alimentación y la unidad deshumidificadora. No abra la máquina usted
mismo, en el interior no hay piezas que el usuario pueda utilizar.
4. Mantenga siempre la unidad en una posición vertical para evitar fugas de agua.
CARACTERÍSTICAS
* Extrae 45 pintas (RDH-045EA) o 65 pintas (RDH-045EA) por día.
* Control de humidistato automático: continuo, 50%, 60%, 70%.
* Control de descongelación automático: funcionamiento a baja temperatura hasta 40° F.
* Controles electrónicos montados en la parte superior con ventilador de tres velocidades.
* Balde desmontable por la parte frontal y filtro de aire deslizable para un fácil acceso y limpieza.
* Se apaga automáticamente y la luz LED señala que el tanque de agua está lleno.
* Conector de drenaje externo para operaciones de drenaje continuas y directas.
* Diseño portátil con ruedas de fácil rotación.
INSTRUCCIONES DE USO
1. Colóquelo en una superficie plana y resistente.
2. Enchufe el cable de alimentación en el tomacorriente correspondiente.
3. Presione el botón "On/Off" para encender la unidad.
4. Seleccione el nivel de humedad (continuo [CONT], bajo [LOW], medio [Medium] o alto [HIGH])
5. Seleccione una velocidad (baja, media o alta)
6. Cuando el tanque de agua esté lleno, se encenderá el indicador "FULL". En este caso, el
tanque se debe sacar y vaciar.
7. Para apagar la unidad, presione
nuevamente el botón "On/Off".

TANQUE DE AGUA DESMONTABLE
Cuando el tanque de agua esté lleno, aproximadamente 2.2 galones (18 pintas)de agua, la unidad se
apagará de automáticamente y se encenderá el indicador "FULL".
Vacíe manualmente el tanque de agua:
Para sacar el tanque de agua, apague el deshumidificador presionando el botón "On/Off". Saque el
tanque de agua de la unidad y vierta el agua en un inodoro o fregadero. Vuelva a colocar el tanque de
agua en la unidad. Para continuar con la deshumidificación, vuelva a presionar el botón "On/Off".
Drenaje continuo:
La carcasa del balde posee una conexión
de manguera roscada que se puede
modificar para un drenaje continuo. Perfore
un orificio de 1/4" (6.4 mm) - 1/2" (13 mm)
en el centro de la conexión de la manguera.
Conecte una manguera para jardín
(asegúrese de que la manguera no se doble
ni tuerza) a la conexión roscada de la manguera de drenaje del balde. En ese momento, el agua se
drenará continuamente a través de la manguera hasta un drenaje más bajo que el nivel de la conexión
de la manguera.
MANTENIMIENTO
Para limpiar la unidad, apague el deshumidificador y desconéctelo del tomacorriente. Use un paño
seco y suave para limpiar las rejillas de la superficie.
El filtro de aire se debe revisar y limpiar al menos cada 2 semanas. Quite el filtro de aire ubicado en la
parte posterior de la unidad presionando suavemente las dos lengüetas y tirando de él.
Lave el filtro de aire con agua tibia y déjelo secar. Una vez que el filtro se seque puede volver a
colocarlo en la unidad.
Luego de quitar el filtro de aire, limpie
la bobina en el interior con un cepillo
suave para quitar toda la tierra blanda
o húmeda. No rocíe limpiadores ni
permita que el agua entre en la máquina.

cerca de los 39° C o bajo los 2° C.
El aire se está moviendo a través del
deshumidificador.
La conexión a la manguera de drenaje
del balde puede estar suelta.
El balde de agua no está completa-
mente adentro.
Asegúrese de que el enchufe del deshumidificador esté
completamente dentro del tomacorriente.
Revise la caja de fusibles y cortacircuitos de la casa y
reemplace el fusible o ponga el cortacircuitos en la
condición inicial.
El deshumidificador se apagará automáticamente cuan-
do esto ocurra. Vacíe el balde.
Asegúrese de que el balde esté en el lugar correcto.
Al instalarlo por primera vez, déjelo durante 3 o 4 días a
fin de mantener la sequedad deseada.
Asegúrese de que no existan cortinas, persianas o
muebles que bloqueen la parte delantera o posterior del
deshumidificador.
Verifique que todas las puertas, ventanas y otras aber-
turas se encuentren bien cerradas.
Instale el deshumidificador lejos del secador. La
secadora debe ventilar hacia el exterior.
El dispositivo protector incorporado está activado,
haciendo que no se pueda encender la unidad para evi-
tar que funcione bajo condiciones seriamente desfavor-
ables. No use el deshumidificador bajo tales circunstan-
cias.
Esto es normal.
Revise la manguera si tiene alguna conectada.
