RELIEF VALVE
MODEL 7500
OPERATION MANUAL
MANUAL # OMP- 7500 12/09
(SEE SPEC. SHEET 7500)
I. PRINCIPAL OF OPERATION
The Ruelco “Model 7500” Relief
valve is an all stainless steel, soft
seat valve, capable of operating
pressures from 50 to 10,000 psi.
The small size of the Relief valve
makes it ideal for designs in which
space is limited. The soft seat
design ensures long life and
repeatability even in corrosive
systems.
II. INSTALLATION
The “Model 7500” Relief Valve
should be installed within a system
where the highest pressure will be
seen, but before any critical
components. This will ensure over
protection from high pressure
fluctuations.
The inlet should be connected to the
bottom of the Relief Valve and the
vent port should be connected to the
side port.
Note:
The vent port should be free flow
and not experience any back
pressure.
