OurtabletPCcanoperateeitherontheexternalACpoweradapteror internal
batterypower.ItissuggestedthatyouuseACpowerwhenyoustartupthe
tabletPCfirsttime.
**Caution
UseonlytheACadapterincludedwithyourtabletPC.UsingotherACadapters
maydamagethetablet PC.
1.PlugtheDCcord of theACadaptertothepowerconnectorof thetablet PC.
2.PlugthefemaleendoftheACpowercord totheACadapterandthemaleendto
thepowerelectricaloutlet.
3.When theACadapterisconnected,theBattery Pack isalso undercharging.You
canchecktheBatteryStatusLEDindicatortoseethecurrentlyprogress.The
indicatorturnstogreen when isfully charged.
(Forinformation on usingbattery power,see “Chapter3 ThePowerManagement )
**Caution
WhenyoudisconnecttheACadapter,disconnectfromtheelectricaloutletfirst
andthenfromthetabletPC. AreverseproceduremaydamagetheACadapter
orthetablet PC.

cord.

rapidlycandamageit.

1.3 TheOptimizedUseforSunlightReadableTouchscreen.
Withtheimposed reflectivefunction,the modifiedLCD can reflecttheambientlight
passingtheLCDcelland utilizethe reflected lightbeamsasitsillumination.The
strongerthe ambient light is, the brighterthe LCD willappear. Asaresult, the modified
LCD isviewableunderlighting conditions.The optimized angleofviewisfourty-five
degree.And the optimized distanceof viewis30cm.
**Caution
AlthoughtransflectiveLCD ismainlyusedinoutdoorenvironmentanditmay
increase thereflectivelightsundersunlight,itissuggestedthatyoushouldkeep
theLCD inappropriatetemperatureforoperationandstorage,and avoiddirect
sunlightifpossible.To ensurethetransflectiveLCD workstably,0~50 C
(32-121 F)operationandstoragetemperatureissuitable.

for operatingthecomputer.
2.2 StartingandStoppingtheTabletPC
StartingtheTabletPC
You alwaysstartthetabletPCusingthepowerbutton, pushthePower
Buttoncontinuouslyby4secondtoturnontheTabletPC.
OurTabletPCwill startsupwithanoperatingsystem(OS)existingonthe
storagedeviceliketheharddisk.Thecomputerwill automaticallyloadtheOS
afteryouturnit on.Thisisnormalbootingprocess.
NOTE: Theoperatingsystemistheplatform for allsoftwareapplication
programstorun on.TheTabletcomputerisrecommendedtousethe
MicrosoftWindowsXPembeddedoperatingsystemfor defaultsolution.
StoppingtheTabletPC
When youfinishyourwork,you can stopthetabletPCby turningoffthe
poweror leavingthetabletPCinStandby mode:
