WARNING! Do not connect the machine to the mains socket before it is completely assembled.
ASSEMBLING TRIMMER (Fig. 1, 2)
Insert the motor part (4) into the handle part (3), making sure the handle are locked-in.
FITTING SAFETY GUARD (Fig. 3)
1. Position the cutout of the safety guard (5) to the convex on the trimmer head (6), and make sure the cutting
line is not trapped under the safety guard.
2. Secure the safety guard onto the trimmer head with screws provided.
FITTING AUXILIARY HANDLE (Fig. 4, 5)
1. Locate the auxiliary handle (7) to the auxiliary handle bracket (8). Tale care of its orientation.
2. Insert the bolt through the bracket and the handle then screw into the captive nut. Fasten the screw and the
nut securely.

PREPARATION

CONNECTING TO THE POWER SUPPLY (Fig. 6)
WARNING! For your safety, it is required that the plug attached to the trimmer is always
connected to an extension cord. The extension cord must be suitable for outdoor use with
sockets protected against water splashing. The extension cord must always be used with the
cable strain relief. Do not use the trimmer without an extension cord connected. Always use a
residual current supply (RCD) protected supply.
1. Make sure the trigger switch (2) is in its off position.
2. Double the extension cord, about a foot from the end. Lead the loop through the hole on the handle and
hook the loop over the cable strain relief (1). Gently pull on the cord to ensure that it is firmly attached at the
handle.
3. Connect the extension cord to a suitable socket.
WARNING! Check the voltage and current! The voltage and current must comply with the
information on the rating label!

OPERATION
TRIMMING
1. Use the trimmer at an angle of approximately 15-degree to the working area (Fig.8).
2. Slowly swing the trimmer from side to side(Fig.9).
3. Do not overload your trimmer, take small “bites” this will keep machine operating at high speed and will greatly
improve cutting efficiency, (Fig.10).
4. Cutting close to a wall
Use the edge guide when cutting close to an edge.

MANUALLY FEED LINE (Fig.11)
If required line can be fed out manually, press and release manual line feed button (11), whilst gently pull out the
lines until the lines reach the line cutter.
When the required amount of line is fed out, gently pull on the second line (there is no need to press the manual
line feed button again)
If the line extends past the line cutter, too much line has been fed out.
If too much line is fed out, remove the spool cap and click spool anti-clockwise until the line is at the desired
length.
CAUTION: Always wear eye protection.
STARTING AND STOPPING (Fig. 7)
1. Squeeze the trigger switch (2) to start the trimmer.
2. Release the trigger switch to stop the trimmer.
