Please read this manual carefully before assembly and use. The device should be installed by
a competent person.
Thank you for purchasing a SafeMi SHG-01 certified gas sensor. The device is designed to detect
natural gas (methane) leaks. The detector must be connected to the mains supply. The SHG-01
gas detector is suitable for use in residential premises as well as in commercial premises. When
a threat is detected, the device activates a loud alarm siren and optical signaling.
WARNING: The device detects only natural gas (lighter than air). Under normal
conditions, you may smell gas before the device reacts to the methane in the
natural gas. SHG-01 sensor does not detect propane, butane or LPG (gases
heavier than air). The type of gas to be detected must be absolutely checked.

The SafeMi SHG-01 gas sensor should not be installed:
Directly above kitchen appliances (gas stove, stove, burners etc.).
Anywhere outside.
In an enclosed space (eg in a cupboard or behind a curtain).
Directly above a sink and in humid places.
Next to doors or windows.
Next to the exhaust fan or hood.
In an area where the temperature can drop below -10 ° C or exceed 40 ° C.
In an area where dirt and dust can block the device.
The SafeMi SHG-01 gas detectorshould be installed in rooms where there is a risk of gas leakage
(e.g. kitchen, boiler room or bathroom).
1. After determining the mounting location, check the mounting surface area for hidden
electrical wiring or pipes. Mark a suitable place on the wall according to the two holes in the
sensor mounting plate (See diagram)
2. Drill two 5.0mm diameter holes in the wall, and then insert the plastic wall plugs into the
holes.
3. Attach the mounting plate with the screws provided, screwing it firmly into the pre-drilled
holes.
4. Mount the sensor on the mounting plate and pull it down until it conforms to the plate.
5. Insert the power plug into a power outlet, and the POWER LED will light. The device will
complete the preparation process in approximately 3 minutes, which is signaled by the
flashing green LED. After this time, the device will go into standby mode and will
continuously monitor the presence of gas in the air (the LED is permanently green).

In order to ensure the correct functioning of the device throughout its service life, it is
recommended to apply the following rules:
Check the operation of the device, sensor and LEDs by pressing the TEST / HUSH button at
least once a month.
At least once a month, remove the sensor from the wall and use a soft and damp cloth to
wipe the housing and the device's air vents to remove dust and dirt build-up.
Never use detergents, aerosols, hairspray, spray deodorant or other solvents in the
immediate vicinity of the device.
Never paint the device. Paint can seal the vents and interfere with the sensor's ability to
detect gas.
Never try to disassemble the device or clean it inside. Doing so may void your warranty.
If the alarm does not work, contact the Distributor / Manufacturer for troubleshooting.

WARNING: Never try to repair the detector yourself to prevent possible
dangers: electric shock or gas alarm failure. The service life of the gas sensor
is 5 years from commissioning. After this time, it must be replaced.
In the event that the SafeMi SHG-01 sensor triggers an alarm, stay calm and do the following:
Turn off all gas appliances.
Do not turn on or off any electrical appliances, including a gas detector.
Turn off the gas supply by shutting off the main gas valve in the building.
Extinguish all naked flames, including cigarettes, etc.
Open doors and windows to increase ventilation.
Do not use the phone in a room where there may be gas.
Leave the building and contact the gas service or gas supplier.
If the alarm is still active (the siren sounds) and you cannot feel gas in the room, you can silence
the alarm using the TEST / HUSH button. If, even after resetting the sensor, in extreme cases
where the cause of the leak is not visible and / or cannot be corrected / eliminated, leave the
room and IMMEDIATELY notify the gas supplier and / or gas service to test the installation and
make necessary repairs to ensure safety.
WARNING: The following substances may affect the sensor and cause false or
permanent damage: silicone fumes, hydrogen sulfide, sulfur oxides, chlorine
gas, hydrogen chloride, alkali metals, water, alcohol-based products, isobutene,
isopropanol, propane, butane, LPG gas, ethylene, benzene, toluene, ethyl
acetate, paints, thinner, solvents, adhesives, hairspray, aftershave, perfumes,
and some cleaners.

SafeMi Home Sp. z o.o. warrants to the original purchaser that its gas detector will be free from
defects in material and workmanship under normal domestic conditions for a period of 3 years
from the date of purchase. Provided the product is sent to SafeMi Home Sp. z o.o. along with the
proof of purchase, SafeMi Home Sp. z o.o. hereby guarantees that during the period of 3 (say:
three) years, commencing from the date of purchase, it will replace or repair the product free of
charge. The warranty is provided to the original retail buyer from the date of original retail
purchase of the equipment. This warranty does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse,
disassembly, overuse, or failure to properly maintain the product, or using it in a manner
inconsistent with the operating instructions. The guarantee does not cover events and
circumstances beyond the control of SafeMi Home Sp. z o.o. such as force majeure events (fire,
severe weather etc.). SafeMi Home Sp. z o.o. shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential
damages resulting from breach of the warranty terms. This warranty does not affect your
statutory rights as a consumer. SafeMi Home Sp. z o.o. shall not be liable for any damages
(except death or personal injury), costs or expenses associated with this product, or any direct or
indirect loss suffered by the consumer or any other user of this product.
Worn-out electrical devices should not be disposed of with other consumer waste. The sensors
are recyclable as part of the recycling of electronic waste and electrical appliances (WEEE).
Such devices must be handed over to applicable collection points for recycling. Information on
the recycling / disposal of such products (may vary by region / country) is available from your
local authorities, dealer, or technical support. Before disposing of the sensor, remove the
batteries (if applicable). Both the batteries and the sensor should be disposed of in accordance
with current regulations.

WARNUNG: Das Gerät erkennt nur Erdgas (leichter als Luft). Unter normalen
Bedingungen können Sie Gas riechen, bevor das Gerät auf Methan in Erdgas
reagiert. Der SHG-01-Sensor erkennt kein Propan, Butan oder LPG (Gase, die
schwerer als Luft sind). Die Art des zu erfassenden Gases muss unbedingt
überprüft werden.
Der Gassensor SafeMi SHG-01 darf nicht installiert werden:
Direkt über Küchengeräten (Gasherd, Herd, Brenner usw.).
Überall draußen.
In einem geschlossenen Raum (z. B. in einem Schrank oder hinter einem Vorhang).
Direkt über einem Waschbecken und an feuchten Orten.
Neben Türen oder Fenstern.
Neben dem Abluftventilator oder der Motorhaube.
In einem Bereich, in dem die Temperatur unter -10 ° C oder über 40 ° C fallen kann.
In einem Bereich, in dem Schmutz und Staub das Gerät blockieren können.
Der SafeMi SHG-01-Gasdetektor sollte in Räumen installiert werden, in denen die Gefahr eines
Gaslecks besteht (z. B. Küche, Heizraum oder Badezimmer).
1. Überprüfen Sie nach der Bestimmung des Montageorts die Montagefläche auf versteckte
elektrische Leitungen oder Rohre. Markieren Sie eine geeignete Stelle an der Wand gemäß
den beiden Löchern in der Sensor-Montageplatte (siehe Abbildung).
2. Bohren Sie zwei Löcher mit einem Durchmesser von 5,0 mm in die Wand und stecken Sie
dann die Kunststoff-Wandstopfen in die Löcher.
3. Befestigen Sie die Montageplatte mit den mitgelieferten Schrauben und schrauben Sie sie
fest in die vorgebohrten Löcher.
4. Montieren Sie den Sensor auf der Montageplatte und ziehen Sie ihn nach unten, bis er der
Platte entspricht.
5. Stecken Sie den Netzstecker in eine Steckdose, und die POWER-LED leuchtet auf. In ca. 3
Minuten schließt das Gerät den Vorbereitungsprozess ab, der durch die blinkende grüne LED
angezeigt wird. Nach dieser Zeit wechselt das Gerät in den Standby-Modus und überwacht
kontinuierlich das Vorhandensein von Gas in der Luft (die LED leuchtet permanent grün).

Um die ordnungsgemäße Funktion des Geräts während seiner gesamten Lebensdauer
sicherzustellen, wird empfohlen, die folgenden Regeln anzuwenden:
Überprüfen Sie die Funktion des Geräts, des Sensors und der LEDs, indem Sie mindestens
einmal im Monat die TEST / HUSH-Taste drücken.
Entfernen Sie mindestens einmal im Monat den Sensor von der Wand und wischen Sie das
Gehäuse und die Lüftungsschlitze des Geräts mit einem weichen, feuchten Tuch ab, um
Staub- und Schmutzablagerungen zu entfernen.
Verwenden Sie niemals Reinigungsmittel, Aerosole, Haarspray, Deodorant oder andere
Lösungsmittel in unmittelbarer Nähe des Geräts.
Malen Sie das Gerät niemals. Farbe kann die Lüftungsschlitze verschließen und die Fähigkeit
des Sensors beeinträchtigen, Gas zu erkennen.
Versuchen Sie niemals, das Gerät zu zerlegen oder im Inneren zu reinigen. Andernfalls
erlischt möglicherweise Ihre Garantie.
Wenn der Alarm nicht funktioniert, wenden Sie sich zur Fehlerbehebung an den Händler.

Für den Fall, dass der SafeMi SHG-01-Sensor einen Alarm auslöst, bleiben Sie ruhig und gehen

Material- und Verarbeitungsfehlern ist. Vorausgesetzt, das Produkt wird an SafeMi Home Sp. Z
oo gesendet. z o.o. zusammen mit dem Kaufnachweis hat SafeMi Home Sp. z oo z o.o. Hiermit
wird garantiert, dass das Produkt während des Zeitraums von 3 (z. B. drei) Jahren ab
Kaufdatum das Produkt kostenlos ersetzt oder repariert. Die Garantie wird dem ursprünglichen
Einzelhandelskäufer ab dem Datum des ursprünglichen Einzelhandelskaufs des Geräts gewährt.
Diese Garantie deckt keine Schäden ab, die durch Unfälle, Missbrauch, Demontage,

recycelt werden. Solche Geräte müssen zum Recycling an die zuständigen Sammelstellen
übergeben werden. Informationen zum Recycling / zur Entsorgung solcher Produkte (kann je
nach Region / Land variieren) erhalten Sie bei Ihren örtlichen Behörden, beim Händler oder beim

Przed montażem i użytkowaniem prosimy o zapoznanie się z treścią niniejszej instrukcji.
Urządzenie powinno być montowane przez osobę kompetentną.
Dziękujemy za zakup certyfikowanego czujnika gazu SafeMi SHG-01. Urządzenie jest
przeznaczone do wykrywania wycieków gazu ziemnego (metanu). Detektor musi być podłączony
do zasilania z sieci elektrycznej. Czujnik gazu SHG-01 nadaje się do użytkowania w
pomieszczeniach mieszkalnych, a także w lokalach usługowych. Urządzenie w razie wykrycia
zagrożenia, włącza głośną syrenę alarmową oraz sygnalizację optyczną.
OSTRZEŻENIE: Urządzenie wykrywa wyłącznie gaz ziemny (lżejszy od
powietrza). W normalnych warunkach zapach gazu może być wyczuwalny
zanim urządzenie zareaguje na metan znajdujący się w gazie ziemnym. Czujnik

Czujnika gazu SafeMi SHG-01 nie należy montować:

W obszarze, w którym temperatura może spaść poniżej -10°C lub przekroczyć 40°C.
W miejscu, w którym brud i kurz mogą zablokować urządzenie.
Czujnik gazu SafeMi SHG-01 powinien być montowany w pomieszczeniach, w których istnieje
ryzyku wycieku gazu (np. kuchnia, kotłownia lub łazienka).
1. Po ustaleniu miejsca montażu sprawdź, czy w obszarze powierzchni montażowej nie ma
ukrytych przewodów elektrycznych ani rur. Zaznacz odpowiednie miejsce na ścianie zgodnie

OSTRZEŻENIE: Nigdy nie próbuj naprawiać detektora samodzielnie, aby
zapobiec możliwym zagrożeniom: porażeniem prądem lub awarią alarmu
gazowego. Okres użytkowania czujnika gazu wynosi 5 lat od uruchomienia. Po
tym czasie należy go bezwzględnie wymienić.
W przypadku włączenia alarmu przez czujnik SafeMi SHG-01 zachowaj spokój i wykonaj
następujące czynności:
Wyłącz wszystkie urządzenia gazowe.
Nie włączaj ani nie wyłączaj żadnych urządzeń elektrycznych, w tym detektora gazu.
Wyłącz dopływ gazu poprzez odcięcie głównego zaworu z gazem w budynku.
Zgaś wszystkie źródła otwartego ognia, w tym papierosy itp.
Otwórz drzwi i okna, aby zwiększyć wentylację.
Nie używaj telefonu w pomieszczeniu, w którym może znajdować się gaz.

Jeśli alarm nadal jest aktywny (słychać syrenę dźwiękową), a gaz w pomieszczeniu nie jest
wyczuwalny, można wyciszyć alarm przy użyciu przycisku TEST/HUSH. Jeśli nawet pomimo
resetowania czujnika, w skrajnych przypadkach, kiedy przyczyna wycieku nie jest widoczna i/lub
nie można jej skorygować/wyeliminować, należy opuścić pomieszczenie i NATYCHMIAST
powiadomić dostawcę gazu i/lub serwis gazowy w celu przetestowania instalacji i
przeprowadzenia niezbędnych napraw w celu zapewnienia bezpieczeństwa.
