GENERAL
•Leagradecemoslaconanzaquenoshadepositadomediantelacompradeeste
aparato.Ustedhaadquiridounproductodecalidadquehasidototalmentefabrica-
dosegúnreglastécnicasdeseguridadreconocidasyconformesalasnormasCE.
•Sirvaseleeratentamenteestasinstruccionesantesdelapuestaenfunciona-
mientoyguárdelasparafuturasreferencias.
•Rogamoscompruebeelperfectoestadoyfuncionamientodelaparatoaldes-
embalarloyaquecualquierdefectodeorigenquepresenteestáamparadopor
lagarantíaS&P.
ADVERTENCIAS DE SEGURIDAD
•Asegúresedequelaalimentacióneléctricacorrespondaalosdetalles
queguranenlaplacadedatos:230 V ~ 50Hz.
•Esteaparatohasidodiseñadocomocalefactordeinstalaciónmural,
estádiseñadocomounafuentedecalorauxiliarysedebeutilizarsolo
conesten.
•Nodebenquedarobjetosinamablesoquelesafecteelcalor,ame-
nos de 1 metro alrededor del aparato (Cortinas, muebles, plantas,
mascotas…etc).
•Elaparatonodebecolocarseenunlugarencastradodondeseintere-
raenlalibrecirculacióndelaire,tantodelaentradacomodelasalida.
•Elaparatonodebecolocarseinmediatamentedebajodeunabasede
tomadecorriente.
•Nosepuedeutilizarelcalefactorconectadoaunprogramador,tem-
porizadoruotrodispositivoexterno,quecontrolelaconexióndelca-
lefactorautomáticamente.
•Noinstaleelcalefactorenparedesdematerialsintético.
•No use el aparato en espacios que contengan gases explosivos o

•Elaparatoalcanzatemperaturassupercialeselevadas,conlocual
notoque,inclusodespuésdequehayaestadofuncionado.
•PRECAUCIÓN:Algunaspartesdeesteaparatopuedenponersemuy
calientes y causar quemaduras. Debe ponerse atención particular
cuandolosniñosylaspersonasvulnerablesesténpresentes.

•Unavezinstaladoelaparato,estedebedequedartotalmentevertical
ylarejadesalidadelaireubicadasiempreenlaparteinferior.
•La instalación se debe de realizaradecuadamenteyconformeala
normativavigentedesupaís.

INSTALACIÓN
•Encasodelaversióndelproductodotadadesoporteportatoallas,ANTES DE
INSTALAR EL PRODUCTO EN LA PARED:
- Introduzcaelsoporteparatoallasenlosoriciosespecícosqueestánpor
debajodelproducto(gura2).
- Fijelos4tornillos(cortos)queseencuentranenlabolsa(gura3).
- Ladistanciamínimadesdeelsueloqueapareceenlagura4(30cm)sedebe
modicaryaumentara60cm.
•Elaparatosedebeinstalarenlapared,respetandolasdistanciasmínimasres-
pectoaltecho,alsueloyalasparedeslateralesindicadasenlagura4.
•Realiceenlapared3oriciosde6mmdediámetro,conunadistanciaentre
ellossegúnloindicadoenlagura5.
•Introduzcalostrestacosqueincluyeelproducto.
•Introduzcalos2tornillosincluidosenlamismabolsaenlapartesuperior,con
cuidadodedejar8mmentrelacabezadeltornilloylapared.
•Ajusteelproductoalos2tornillosquehajadosujetándolosiemprermemente
conlasmanos.¡ATENCIÓN!Antesdesoltarelproductocompruebequeesté
biensujetoalos2tornillos.
•Porúltimo,sujeteelproductoconeltercertornilloenlaparteinferior(gura6).

USO DEL CALEFACTOR

Modelo con termostato
•Empezando por la posición de anticongelamiento, marcada por el símbolo
“”,gireelmandodeltermostatoensentidohorariohastaquenooigaun“clic”:
deestamanera,elproductoempiezaafuncionara1800Wdepotenciayelse-
ñaladorluminososeilumina.
•Eltermostatomantienelatemperaturaambientedeseadaencendiendoyapa-
gandoautomáticamenteelcalefactor.Cuantomássegiraelmandoensenti-
dohorario,conunnúmeromásaltoenposición,másaltaserálatemperatura
ofrecida.Laposiciónmáximadeltermostatosecorrespondeconunos35ºC;la
mínima(*),conunos5ºC.
Uso del termostato
•Enunahabitaciónenlaquelatemperaturasuperalos35ºC,esnormalqueel-
termostato,aunqueestésituadoalmáximo,noenciendaelcalefactor.
•Viceversa,enunahabitaciónconunatemperaturademasiadobaja(menosde
5°C)esnormalqueeltermostatomantengacontinuamenteencendidoelapara-
to,aunqueestéalmínimo.
•Pararegularlomejorposibleeltermostato,recomendamosesteprocedimiento:
- Coloqueeltermostatoalmáximoyhagafuncionarelaparatohastaquealcan-
ceunatemperaturaconfortable;
- Después, gire el mando del termostato en sentido antihorario hasta oír un
“clic”yelaparatoseapagará;
- Despuésvuelvaagirarligeramente(solounpoco)elmandodeltermostatoen
sentidohorario;
- Enestaposición,eltermostatomantendrálatemperaturaambientequeha
elegido.
Modelo con termostato y temporizador de 60’
•Elcalefactorincluyedosmandos:unoparaeltemporizadorde60’yotroparael
termostato.
•Elproductopermitecongurar2modosdiferentesdefuncionamiento:
- Calentamientodelambienteconmantenimientodelatemperatura:

•Cuandoelproductofuncionaa1800W,bajoelcontroldeltemporizador,elter-
mostatonocontrolalatemperaturadelambiente.Enestascondiciones,noutilice
elcalefactorenambientesdepequeñasdimensionessienestosseencuentran
personas(niñosincluidos)queno puedanirsedelahabitaciónsolos yqueno
esténbajoconstantesupervisiódeunapersonaresponsabledesuseguridad.
PROTECCIÓN ANTIHELADAS
•ElCB-2005 incorpora undispositivo antiheladasque hace queel aparato se
pongaenfuncionamientocuandolatemperaturaambientedesciendede+5ºC.
 Paraaccionarestedispositivobastaconconectarelaparatoalaredycolocarel
mandotermostatoenposición*.Silatemperaturaambientedesciendede+5ºC
automáticamentesepondráenfuncionamientomanteniendolatemperaturaam-
bientalde+5ºC.Estedispositivoesespecialmentebeneciosoenlugaresdonde
sealcanzanbajastemperaturasyesfacilquesehieleelaguadelastuberias,etc.
FILTRO
•Suproductoincluyeunltroparaprotegerloselementoscalefactoresdelpolvo
ydelasuciedad.
•Elltrosepuedeintroducirtantoporlaizquierdacomoporladerechaysepue-
dequitar(gura8).
•Paraunbuenfuncionamientodelproducto,lerecomendamosquelimpieelltro
unavezcada6mesesACORDÁNDOSEDEVOLVERLOAMONTARENELPRO-
DUCTO.

BARRA PORTA TOALLAS
•Labarraportatoallaslepermitecalentarhasta2toallasalavez.
•Lastoallassedebencolocarcorrectamenteenelsoporte,talycomoindicala
gura9,yNOcomoindicalagura10,paraevitarsobrecalentamientosyfun-
cionamientosincorrectos.
SEGURIDAD EN CASO DE FUNCIONAMIENTO ANORMAL
•Encasodesobrecalentamiento,elsistemadeproteccióndelaparatodesactiva
automáticamenteloselementoscalefactoresyelmotor,interrumpiendo,así,el
funcionamientodel calefactor. En estecaso, el productonofunciona perola
lámparaluminosaestáencendida.
•Enestecaso:
- Apagueelcalefactorydéjeloenfriarduranteunos15/20minutos.
- Compruebequeelltroanti-polvonoestécompletamenteobstruidoy,sies
así,límpieloyvuélvaloamontar.
- Quite otras causas eventuales de sobrecalentamiento (por ej., obstáculos
frentealaparrilladeentraday/odesalidadelaire,acumulaciónanómalade
suciedad,etc.);
- Vuelvaaencenderelcalefactorycompruebesifuncionacorrectamente.
•Paracualquierintervencióndemantenimientoenelproducto,esnecesariodiri-
girseapersonalespecializadoycualicado.
MANTENIMIENTO
•LoscalefactoresS&Pnonecesitanunespecialmantenimiento.Antesdeproce-
derasulimpiezanoolvidedesconectarelaparatodelared.Limpielacarcasa
conunpañosuaveimpregnadoconundetergentenoabrasivo.
ASISTENCIA TÉCNICA
•LaextensaReddeServiciosOcialesS&Pgarantizaunaadecuadaasistencia
técnica.
•Encasodeobservaralgunaanomalíaenelaparato,rogamossepongaencontacto
concualquieradelosserviciosmencionados,dondeserádebidamenteatendido.
•CualquiermanipulaciónefectuadaporpersonasajenasalosServiciosOciales
S&P,nosobligaríaacancelarsugarantía.

•The CB range of bathroom heaters have been manufactured to the rigorous
standardsofproductionqualitylaiddownbytheInternationalQualityStandards.
•Allcomponentshavebeencheckedandtestedattheendofthemanufacturing
process.
•Beforeanyinstallationorconnectionwewouldadvisethatthefollowinginstruc-
tionsarecarefullyreadandthenkeptinanaccessibleareaforfuturereference.
•Allappliancesaresuppliedinperfectconditionandoperation.Howeveriffound
tobedefectivetheunitshouldbereturnedtothesupplierinaccordancewith
thertermsoftheS&Pguaranttee.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
•Makesurethepowersupplycorrespondstothedetailsshownonthe
nameplate:230 V ~ 50Hz.
•Thisproducthasbeendesignedasamobileheaterorwallmounting.
Itisdesignedasanauxiliaryheatsourceandshouldbeusedonlyfor
thispurpose.
•Flammable objects (curtains, furniture, plants, etc. ) should not be
placedatlessthan1meterfromtheappliance.
•The heater must not be placed in a recessedplace(underatable,
desk,…)whereitinterfereswiththefreecirculationofair,boththe
inletandoutlet.
•Theheatershouldnotbeplacedimmediatelyunderabaseofpower
point.
•Theheatercannotbeconnectedtoaprogrammer,timerorotherde-
vicethatcontrolstheheaterconnectionautomatically.
•Donotinstalltheheateronaplasticwall.
•Donotusetheproductinroomslledwithexplosivegasesorvapours
generatedbysolventsandpaintsorthatareinammable.

•Donotinsertanyrigidbodythroughthegrilles,thiscoulddamagethe
heater,startareorelectricshock.
•Theelectricalconnectionmustalsoincludetheuseofa2-poleswitch
withacontactopeningdistanceofatleast3mminallpoles,andper-
formacompletedisconnectioninovervoltagecategoryIII.
•AstheheaterisaclassIIproduct,earthconnectionisnotrequired.
•The heaterhas an IPX4protectionlevel against waterand maybe
installedinbathroomsbutNEVERINSTALL/USETHISAPPLIANCEIN
THEZONESILLUSTRATEDASVOLUM1(Figure1).
•Neverleaveyourhomewiththeproductstillrunning.Ifyoudogoout
makesurethattheswitchisoff.
•Thedevicehashighsurfacetemperatures,whichmustnotbetouched,
evenafterithasbeenswitchedoff.
•CAUTION:Somepartsofthisproductmaybebecomehotandcause
burns. Particular attention should be when children and vulnerable
peoplearepresent.
•WARNING: Inordertoavoidoverheating,donotcovertheheater.
•Childrenoflessthan3yearsshouldbekeptawayunlesscontinuously
supervised.
•Childrenagedfrom3yearsandlessthan8yearsshallonlyswitchon/
offtheapplianceprovidedthatithasbeenplacedorinstalledinits
intendednormaloperatingpositionandtheyhavebeengivensuper-
visionorinstructionconcerninguseoftheapplianceinasafewayand
understandthehazardsinvolved.
•Childrenagedfrom3yearsandlessthan8yearsshallnotplugin,
regulateandcleantheapplianceorperformusermaintenance.
•Thisappliancecanbeusedbychildrenagedfrom8yearsandabove
andpersonswithreducedphysical,sensoryormentalcapabilitiesor
lackofexperienceandknowledgeiftheyhavebeengivensupervision
orinstructionconcerninguseoftheapplianceinasafewayandun-
derstandthehazardsinvolved.
•Childrenshouldnotplaywiththeproduct.
•Before carrying out any maintenance work, or during long periods
withoutuse,makesurethatthedevicehasbeendisconnectedfrom
themains.

•Donotcleantheproductwhileitisworkinganddonotimmerseitin
water.
•Donothandletheheaterwithwethands.
•If the cable gets damaged it must be replaced by S&P – take the
equipmenttoourofcialS&Pdealerbecausetheworkmustbedone
byspecialistpersonneltoavoidanyriskofdamage.
•Theheatermustalwaysworkverticallyandtheairoutletgrilleshould
belocatedatthebottom.
•Inanycaseyouhavetorespectthenationalinstallationstandardand
safetyrequirementsvalidinyourState.

INSTALLATION
•Fortheversionttedwithatowelrail,BEFORE MOUNTING THE FAN HEATER
ON THE WALL:
- Fitthetowelrailintotheholesunderneaththeproduct,gure2.
- Insertandtightenthe4(short)screwscontainedinthebag,gure3.
- Themimimumdistancefromtheoorreportedingure4(30cm)changesto
60cm.
•Mounttheheateronthewallmakingsuretoobservetheminimumdistances
fromtheceiling,oorandotherwalls,asshowningure4.
•Drillthree6mmdiameterholesinthewall,asshowningure5.
•Insertthethreewallplugssuppliedwiththeproduct.
•Insertthe2upperscrews,containedinthesamebag,takingcaretoleavea
distanceof8mmbetweentheheadofthescrewsandthewall.
•Grippingtheheaterrmly,hookitontothetwoscrews;CAUTION!Beforereleas-
ingtheheatermakesureitisattachedtothe2screws.
•Thensecuretheproductwiththelowerscrew,gure6.

•Startingfromtheanti-freezeposition“ ”,turnthethermostatknobclockwise

untilyouheara“click”:thefanheaterstartsworkingat1800Wandtheindicator
LEDlightsup.
•The thermostat maintains the required ambient temperature by automatically
turningtheheateronandoff.Themoretheknobisturnedclockwisetoahigher
number,thehighertheambienttemperaturewillbe.Thehighestpositionofthe
thermostatcorrespondstoapproximately35°C,thebottomone(*)toabout5°C.
Using the thermostat
•Inaroomwithatemperatureinexcessof35°C,thethermostatdoesnotturnon
thefanheaterevenifitisatmaximum.
•Vice-versa,inaroomwithaverylowtemperature(below5°C),thethermostat
keepstheheaterconstantlyon,evenifitisatminimum.
•Tooptimiseuseofthethermostat,proceedasfollows:
- Turnthethermostatknobtomaximumandwaituntilacomfortabletempera-
tureisreached;
- Thenturnthethermostatknobanti-clockwiseuntilyouheara“click”andthe
heaterturnsoff;
- Turnthethermostatknobclockwisejustalittle;
- Inthisposition,thethermostatwillmaintaintheselectedambienttemperature.
Model with thermostat and 60’ timer
•Thismodeloffanheateristtedwithtwoknobs,oneforthe60’timerandthe
otherforthethermostat.
•2differentoperatingmodesareavailable:
- Maintenanceofambienttemperature:
 Startingfromtheanti-freezeposition“ ”,turnthethermostatknobclockwise

- Rapidheating:
 Adjusttheambientthermostattotherequiredtemperatureandthenturnthe
timerknobtoselecttherequiredoperatingtime.Theproductrapidlyheatsthe
room1800Wforthesettimeandthenreducespowerto1000Wtomaintain
theambienttemperatureselectedwiththethermostat.

•Whentheheaterisworkingundertimercontrolat1800Wthethermostatdoesn’t
controltheroomtemperature.Inthiscondition,donotusetheheaterinsmall
roomswhentheyareoccupiedbypersonsnotcapableofleavingtheroomon
theirown,unlessconstantsupervisionisprovidedbyapersonresponsiblefor
theirsafety.
AUTOMATIC ANTI-FROST
•TheCB-2005wallmountedheaterincorporatesasstandardanAnti-FrostPro-
tectionDevicewhichswitchestheunitONautomaticallywhenthetemperature
islessthan+50C.Toactivatethisdevicewhentheheaterisinuseandturnthe
Thermostattoposition(*).Thereforewhenthetemperaturedropsbelow+50C
theappliancewillautomatically switchONkeepingtheroomat thisconstant
temperature.Thisdeviceisveryusefulwherelowtemperaturesarecommonand
wherepipelinewateriseasilyfrosted.
FILTER
•Thisproductisttedwithaltertoprotecttheheatingelementsfromdustand
dirt.
•Thelterisremovableandcanbettedbothfromtheleftandfromtheright,
gure8.
•Tokeeptheheaterinperfectcondition,cleanthelteronceeverysixmonths
REMEMBERINGTOPUTITBACKAGAINAFTERWARDS.
TOWEL RAIL
•Thetowelrailcanwarmupto2towelsatatime.
•Positionthetowelscorrectlyontherail,asshowningure9andNOTasshown
ingure10,topreventoverheatingandmalfunctions.
WHAT TO DO IN CASE OF MALFUNCTIONS
•Inthe event of overheating,the safety deviceonthe appliance automatically
disabledtheheatingelementsandmotor.Asaresult,theheaterstopsworking,
eventhoughtheindicatorLEDstayson.
•Inthiscase:
- Turnoffthefanheaterandallowittocooldownforabout15/20minutes.
- Makesurethedustlterisnottotallyobstructedandcleanifnecessary.

- Remembertoputitbackagainafterwards.
- Eliminateanyotherpossiblereasonsforoverheating(e.g.:obstructionsinfront
oftheairinlet/outletgrilles,build-upsofdirt).
- Turnonthefanheateragainandcheckitworkscorrectly.
•Iftheproductneedsservicing,callinaqualiedspecialisedtechnician.
MAINTENANCE
•IMPORTANT:BEFORECONDUCTINGANYMAINTENANCEORCLEANINGEN-
SURETHATTHEAPPLIANCEISDISCONNECTEDFROMTHEMAINSELEC-
TRICALSUPPLY.
•TheS&PCBrangeofHeatersDoNotRequireanyspecialmaintenance.Toen-
surelongandtroublefreeoperationwedohoweverrecommendthattheintake
andexhaustairventsareperiodicallycheckedtoensurethereisnobuildupof
dustanddebris.TIP:WiththeapplianceswitchedOFF,useavacuumcleanerto
removeanydustordebrisfrominsidetheairvents.
•Tocleantheappliancesimplywipewithadamp(notwet)cloth.DoNotUseany
abrasivesorsolvents.
TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE SERVICE
•AllCBWallMountedHeatersareofferedwithacomprehensiveguaranteeand
TechnicalAssistanceService.Iftheapplianceisfoundtobedefectivewithinthe
periodofguaranteethenrstpleasecontacttheTechnicalAssistanceService,
thenonlyifneccessaryreturntoanauthorisedS&Psupplier.
•IMPORTANT:Anyrepairsorworkcarriedoutontheappliancebyperson(s)not
authorisedbyS&Pwillinvalidatetheguaranttee.
 Soler&Palaureservestherighttoalterspecicationswithoutpriornotice.
