underblanket and cord do not become trapped or rucked, for example
in hinges.
• Thisheatedunderblanketmustbeusedwiththetypeofcontrollerthat
is marked on the rating label of the heated underblanket, only.
• Theelectricandmagneticfieldsemittedbythiselectricalheatedunder-
blanket may possibly interfere with the operation of pacemakers. How-
ever, they are well below the permissible limits: electric field strength:
maximum of 5,000 V/m, magnetic field strength: maximum of 80 A/m,
magnetic flux density: maximum of 0.1 millitesla. Please therefore ask
your doctor and the manufacturer of your pacemaker before using this
product.
• Donotpull,twistormakeanysharpkinksinthecords.
• Thisheatedunderblanketmustbeexaminedfrequentlyforsignsof
wear or damage.
If there are such signs, if the heated underblanket has been misused
or does not work, return it to the supplier before switching it on again.
• Ifthesupplycordisdamaged,itmustbereplacedbythemanufacturer,
its service agent or similar qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
• Whilethisheatedunderblanketisswitchedon
– never place any objects on it (e.g. suitcases or laundry basket),
– never place any heat source on it, such as a hot water bottle,
heating pad etc.
• Wheninuse,theelectroniccomponentsinthecontrolleroftheheated
underblanket make the controller slightly warm. The controller should
therefore never be covered or placed on the heated underblanket when
it is in operation.
