Note: A. Points of 1 and 3: input of bus wire ( non polarity)
B. Points of 2 and 4: input of DC24V ( non polarity)
5. Installation / Usage instruction
5.1 Wire with the power wire, bus wire, and the base of DZ-925T firstly, after all the decoration work in the
application site is done, ( Note! Don’t make your detectors appealing during the decoration process,
otherwise the sensor will be damaged.), then connect the base with the detector.
Power on the detector, the indicator blinks twice quickly, then it blinks in the sequence of green, red, and
yellow along with the warning sound of buzzer.
Preheating, green indicator blinks quickly; After preheating, green indicator blinks slowly for around 20
seconds, then it comes to monitoring state, green indicator blinks once per around 12 seconds (once per
minute when there’s no connection of two bus system).
5.2 Location of mounted
Decision of location (as shown below) should follow the below instructions, and make a detail analysis
according to the reality of fuel gas and cookware, to decide the location.
5.2.1 Detector should be installed in the same room with stoves or gas fires.
5.2.2 The base of detector shall be between the stove and the source of gas, horizontal distance between 1.5
and 4 meters.
5.2.3 Decide the vertical height according the type of gas
--For LPG.
Detection of petroleum gas should be installed 0.3m from the ground( because of the
gas is heavier than the air)
--Gas detection : should be installed above the stove or any other gas source at vertical distance

5.2.4 Diagram of installation location.
5.2.5 Locations to avoid
a Steam, cooking fume, ventilation are present directly.
b Close to air blowing heavily like doors, windows, exhaust fan and air inlet.
c Close to shower room, plenty of steam, and power cut at night likely.
d Explosion Proof place
e Outdoor or where the temperature is below 0℃or above 55℃
f Object separates the detector from the gas appliances.
5.3 Wiring requirements
For 24V power cable, we suggest of wires which cross-sectional area is equal to or more than 2.5mm2, bv
type line;
Bus can be RVs flame-retardant copper core wires which cross-sectional area is more than or equal to 1.0
mm2.
5.4 Once combustible gas in the air reaches the set alarming level, the detector starts alarming, red
indicator flashes and rings a buzzer (twice per second); When the gas concentration is restored lower than the
set alarm, the detector can be reset automatically; Detectors accessing to the alarming system, in about 15
seconds alarms will be informed to the controller. If the detector alarm fails to reset in 30 seconds, please
immediately cut off the gas source, open the window, it is strictly prohibited to turn on or off any electrical
appliances, and ask the qualify people to come to check and solve the leakage.
5.5 If the detector is flashing yellow light and ringing a buzzer(approximately every 3 seconds ),and the
detector can not be returned to the normal monitoring state after the self inspection button is pressed, it
indicates that the detector is faulty (sensor fault). This detector has no longer function of detecting leakage,
please contact the dealer; If the detector is connected to the controller, the detector will report the fault
information to the controller.
5.6 Operation buttons: Being pressed the self inspection button, the detector will be tested by itself (in the
sequence of lighting green, red, yellow, and accompany with a buzzer sound),it will enter to the monitoring
state after the end of the self inspection test.
