Sante4Life Touchless Forehead Thermometer
The Sante4Life Touchless Forehead Thermometer utilizes the latest
advanced infrared technology and is tested in accordance with
international standards. It scans temperature and displays results in
less than one second.
The thermometer scans infrared heat waves released by the tem-
poral artery, which runs across the forehead just below the skin, to
determine body temperature. The thermometer does not touch the
forehead: it scans at a distance of about 3-5 centimetres or 1.2-2
inches away from the forehead. The thermometer does not require
disposable parts because of the non-contact technology.
With one-click scanning, this non-invasive method of scanning tem-
perature is suitable for all ages. It is equipped with many features:
* Large backlit LCD display
* Memory feature to save up to 32 scans
* Audio alarm indicating the end of the temperature scan
* Temperatures scale displayed in either Fahrenheit or Celsius
* Automatic shut-o
The Sante4Life Touchless Forehead Thermometer oers safe, fast and
hygienic scanning. It is accurate, environmentally friendly, easy to
use, and also comes with limited lifetime warranty.

Body Temperature
Body temperature taken from dierent sites of the body varies
throughout the day. It is also inuenced by other factors such as
age, sex, gender, and skin tone. If in doubt, seek medical advice
from your physician and mention the temperature taken from the
forehead. The following tables provide the normal temperature
range for sites and age.
Temperature from dierent sites should not be directly compared.
Normal temperature ranges by site:
Site Celsius (oC) Fahrenheit (oF)
Auxiliary 34.7 – 37.3 94.5 – 99.1
Oral 35.5 – 37.5 95.9 – 99.5
Rectal 36.6 – 38.0 97.9 – 100.4
Tympanic 35.8 – 38.0 96.4 – 100.4
Temporal (Sante4Life) 35.8 – 37.8 96.4 – 100.0
Normal temperature according to age:
Age Celsius (oC) Fahrenheit (oF)
0-2 36.4 – 38.0 97.5 – 100.4
3-10 36.1 – 37.8 97.0 – 100.0
11-65 35.9 – 37.6 96.6 – 99.7
> 65 35.8 – 37.5 96.4 – 99.5

4
Note:
* As a person grows older, his or her normal temperature range
tends to decrease.
* Take consideration of physiological variations when evaluat-
ing the results: body temperature increases by 0.5 oC / 0.9 oF
between 6 a.m. and 3 p.m.
* Women, on average, have higher temperatures of around 0.2
oC / 0.36 oF. Their temperature also varies in accordance with
their ovarian cycle. It rises by 0.5 oC / 0.9 oF in the second half of
the cycle and in the early stages of pregnancy.
* Scanning body temperature in a sitting position versus a
standing position could result in temperatures lowered by as
much as 0.3-0.4 oC / 0.54-0.72 oF.
