2) For safety and security, all rubber straps and U-lock (lock not included-

3) Replace any rubber strap at the first sign of wear. Replacement parts are

4) Vehicle should be in good condition in area at which BasePlate is
located.
5) Make sure bike tires are not directly behind exhaust pipe.
6) Do not mount to any type of trailer.
7) Carrier not intended for off-road use or speeds exceeding 65 m.p.h..
8) It's the end users responsibility to ensure that use of this product meets
all local and state laws.
9) To prevent potential damage, secure the front tires of bicycles (part num-
ber 3033 recommended).

Check clearance. It is the responsibility of the user to ensure the
necessary clearance (dependant on vehicle, load, driving territory, etc.)
is given from load to ground. Generally, 12-15" is adequate.
For women's bikes mount stabilizer at position S1 and hold-down
(horizontal stabilizer) at position H1 (Fig. 8).

(available through Graber dealer) and enclosed instructions. Fit recommendations are
based on vehicle's standard features; optional features may affect the fit recommendations.
User must attach carrier correctly to the vehicle, check its attachment before each use,
and inspect carrier parts for wear. Carrier's attachment to the vehicle is critical and beyond

resulting from the incorrect attachment, improper use, inadequate maintenance, or neglect

WARRANTY:
We warrant this product to the first consumer to be free from defect in material and
workmanship for a period of two years from date of purchase. (Please retain your sales
slip for your records.) Any product or part thereof found to be defective within that period
will be replaced without charge provided that: (1) the product was not misused; (2) no
alterations or modifications were made; (3) its failure resulted from a defect in material or
workmanship and not from normal wear expected in the use of the product; (4) the product
or part is delivered, freight prepaid, to Graber Products. Manufacturers only obligation
shall be to replace such products or parts proved to be defective.

The purchase of Graber Bike Beam (#3037) is recommended for
difficult to fit women's, juvenile, and unique style frames.
It's recommended that you carry a wrench with you at all times for
removing the rack in case of a flat tire or to retighten occasionally.
