certain materials. Always check before putting the appliance into operation
as to whether the surface or material is actually suitable for treatment
with steam. Do this by executing a test on a hidden surface of the material
you wish to treat. The Sauber Brilliance Jubilee should only be used for its
intended purpose as described in this instruction manual.
Do not attempt to open the security cap when the unit is in use. The
boiler is pressurised.

Open the filler cap by following the Water Filling procedure
outlined in this manual. Use the filler cap as a screwdriver to
loosen the drain cap. Ensure that the water is not hot. Rinse with
clear water until no limescale flows out from the boiler.
Overtime limescale residues can deposit in the boiler. The patented system
of the steamer avoids the scaling of the boiler walls. Therefore the boiler only
needs to be rinsed and not descaled with special products.

The filler cap should not be opened when the unit is still under pressure. If
the red indicator on the filler cap is in the upward position this means that the
unit is still under pressure.
Never press the red indicator on the filler cap downwards with an object and
turn the cap at the same time.
When there is no more pressure in the tank, the red indicator will be in the
downward position and the cap can be opened. In case of doubt, contact
Sauber Customer Service.
1. Ensure the tank is empty and there is no steam in the boiler. Turn off the machine
and let it cool down completely, this can take up to a few hours.
2. After the unit has cooled down completely, firmly push down on the filler cap until
the red indicator in the centre of the cap is in the downward position. This will
unlock the cap allowing you to unscrew and remove the cap from the machine.
3. Carefully turn the cap anti-clockwise to remove it from the machine. If steam
releases, do not unscrew the cap any further, allow the machine to cool down then
