BIOCLIMATIC PERGOLA
EXACT DIAGONALS
Measure the foundation in order to make sure that the levelling is correct.
Install the base fixings using M-12 screws (not included), with a quality of at least AISI 304 (stainless steel), leaving all
bases properly levelled.
Once the column bases are installed in place, measure the diagonal lines to ensure both distances are equal.
The correct installation of the column bases is critical for the pergola optimum operation.

Install the motor on the central beam using the ULS ISO 7380 A2
M6x16 screws, inserting them in the pre-drilled threads created for
this purpose on the closing area of the central beam.
ATTENTION: Make sure you know which end of the left and right beam corresponds to the opening and closing. In
the figure, we show the distance from the first pre-drilled hole in the opening and in the closing.
ATTENTION: If the pergola is equipped with LED lines, you must
pass the LED connector cables through the corresponding slat
hole and take them to the closing area to pull the out through
the hole pre-drilled in the column for this purpose, as well as
the motor cable, which should be put through the cable gland.

Join the C and D columns to the ends of the CLOSING beam.
Use the brackets and screws provided (see image).
Fasten the screws 1, 2 and 3 on the inner part of the column, use the washers provided.

Keeping the opening and closing beams together with the columns, fasten them to the columns bases on the floor surface
using the ULS (ISO 7380) A2 M6x16 mm screws. Proceed as shown in the image.

1.4 ASSEMBLING THE CENTRAL BEAM
When mounting the central beam, you should pass the
LED connectors and motor connection cable through to
the closing beam using a purposely pre-drilled hole. Once
inserted into the closing beam, take them towards the re-
quired column to complete the connection.
Mount the CENTRAL beam between the opening and clos-
ing beams.
Match the holes in the top plates of the central beam
with the top rivet nuts on the opening and closing beams.
Simultaneously match the holes in the S duplex bottom
plate supporting the opening and closing beam.
Tighten all the plates using the ULS (DIN 7380) A2 M6x16
screws provided.

1.6 JOINING THE SURFACE MANIFOLDS IN THE OPENING AND CLOSING BEAM
Apply the provided sealant between the contact sides of the OPENING and CLOSING beams and their corresponding sur-
face manifolds.
Clip the opening and closing manifolds (same profile, just in an inverted position). You will possibly need to use clamps
or wooden blocks to help you with the clipping.

ATTENTION: Do not bypass this step, it is very important to seal the manifold joint properly (sealant provided).
Create a groove for the water run-o at
each end of both manifolds (use a ham-
mer and a flat screwdriver).

1.8 INSTALLING “U” DRAINING PROFILE, OPENING, CLOSING, CENTRAL AND LATERALS
Check that all the “U” profile holes match
the M6 pre-drilled ones on the beam.
If all of them match, apply the sealant
between the “U” profile and the beam
after screwing the profiles with the ULS
(ISO 7380) A2x16 screws.
Use the sealant provided to seal the “U”
profiles to the beams and the joints that
could suer water leaks.
Install the “U” draining profile on the
LEFT and RIGHT beams. To do it, in-
sert the profile end through the drain-
ing hole pre-drilled on columns A and
B and leave it flush with the beam and
columns C and D.
Mount the U-shaped grooves on the
central beam, flush with the opening
and closing beams, just as you did with
the U-shaped drain grooves 62x65x2,5
along the opening beam, inserting the
A and B column ends into the closing
beam, flush with the C and D columns.

To install the slats without LED you will have a set of O-210 pivot-type caps, integrated by a 16,4x25 mm plastic cap and
a retractable stainless steel axle.
The slats with LED come already pre-instaled on one side with a hollow axle. The LED connector comes through this axle
and it has a protection spring. The O-210 retractable axle needs to be installed on the other end.
1.9 INSTALLING THE SLATS
Before installation of the slats, place the 16,6x11 mm anti-friction caps.

Start installing the slats from the CLOSING BEAM and from the top part of the pergola. Insert the slat axle into the left
beam, lower the right side at the same time you insert the retractable axle into the end cap and insert it into the anti-
friction cap of the right beam, so the slat is finally in place.
ATTENTION: Pay attention when installing the slats so there are no errors or confusion in their placement, opening,
closing, LED slats, etc.
If it was necessary to remove any of the slats, follow the steps described in annex A.
VERY IMPORTANT: The central beam transmission plates must be installed simultaneously with the mounting of
the slats in duplex pergola panels (install 2 or 3 slats, then install the plates).

ATTENTION: When installing the
plate in the slats, do not tighten
too much the screw nuts, so they
are set without tightening. Thus
the plate can perform manually
the opening and closing move-
ments with no friction whatso-
ever.
INSTALLING THE TRANSMISSION PLATE
To mount the motor there is a tandem axle holding the two central transmission plates. These have two pre-drilled holes
and must be installed towards the closing area nearest to the motor area, 5th or 6 th slat.
If you prefer, the LEFT and RIGHT beam plates can be mounted after all the slats have been inserted.
Join the plates to the end caps with their
corresponding ULS (ISO 7380) A2 M6x16
screws, 6,3 mm rimmed plastic caps and
M6 DIN 985 nut.

When reaching a hole for LED slats, connect the connector and insert it into the beam (as shown in the images below).
As for the other slats, the installation is the same, inserting the connector axle into the beam with the LED installation and
the retractable axle into the other beam.

BIOCLIMATIC PERGOLA
When proceeding to mount the 5th or 6th slat, you will reach the area with the pre-drilled holes in the transmission plates,
intended to install the COMPLETE TANDEM AXLE SET with code: 050307.
The transmission plates have some pre-drilled holes to mount the driving tandem axle, which should be placed near the
CLOSING area.
There could be variations in the mounts for
the motor and tandem axles provided, but
all the pre-drilled holes made in the pergo-
la, as well as the screws and pins provided,
will be adequate for each case.
1.10 MOTOR INSTALLATION
You should already have the motor on the central beam, unless otherwise specified in the manufacturing order.
Steps to join the motor to the transmission plate tandem axle.
1Move the tandem axle, together with the transmission plates and mounted slats, until the tandem axle carrying
mount matches the motor rod.
2Fasten it by inserting the pin and cotter pins or screw provided.
