With CAREboy from Scheucher you will experience an absolutely comfortable way
of innovative and eicient cleaning and care of your oiled/waxed parqued floor.
It is a multifuncional, cordless waxer and cleaner for the routine use together with
our compatible products Parquet Care and Parquet Cleaner.
This specially developed range of cleaning and care products enhances the
natural hues of your wooden floor and protects as well as preserves the
beautiful sheen and individual character of the wood.

CAREboy
Only suitable for even surfaces such as parquet, wooden floors, stone, tile, laminate, vinyl floors or similar.
Do not use on walls or windows or uneven surfaces.

Do not soak your CAREboy in water or other liquids. Clean it with a damp cloth solely.

Do not touch rotating parts during operation.
Fix your cleaning or waxing pads on the rotating plates before use, make sure they are used under appropriate circumstances.
Only use recommended care and cleaning products . Other products on your own risk and responsibility.
Do not fill in any liquids containing solvents.
Empty and dry the water tank if you do not use your CAREboy for a longer time.

Only charge your CAREboy with the original adapter from the package.
When using your CAREboy, make sure that the angle between the machine
handle and the ground level is within 80 degrees.
This product is only intended to be used for cleaning and care of floors.
Operating errors or improper handling are in the responsibility of the user.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS.
Installation CAREboy
Push the thin end of the tube into the upper handle until the
locking stud snaps into place.


OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS.
Please select the correct pads for cleaning ( BLUE ) or care ( GREEN ) of your oiled / waxed wooden floor and fix them to
your CAREboy by using the velcro fastener. Use only original pads - these were specially designed for the optimum use on
parquet floors.
When removing or changing used pads, turn o the power and take them o the velcro. Wash cleaning and polishing
pads immediately aer use, so they are ready for the next application right away. You can wash them with up to 60 °C in
your washing machine. For the next use put the new pads with the felt side on the velcro again.
Choose / change the right pads
Remove the rubber plug and fill the water tank with cleaning or care agent by means of the measuring cup. For the care
of your oiled / waxed parquet floor, fill pure Scheucher PARQUET CARE into the tank. To clean your parquet floor, pour in
diluted Scheucher PARQUET CLEANER accoring to the instructions.
Close the plug and if necessary, clean excess quantities with an absorbent cloth. Make sure that the pump does not run
dry. Therefore, pour some water into the tank aer cleaning or waxing, clean the nozzle with with a few sprays of clear
water and then empty the tank again!

Handling CAREboy
If you slightly press the power switch using your foot, the LED lights will turn on and you can start using your CAREboy.
To turn o your CAREboy, press the same button till LED lights turns o. CAREboy is o now.
STAND-BY MODE
If you leave your CAREboy in a standby mode for more than 10 minutes, it automatically switches into a sleep mode.
Press the power switch twice now to reactivate it and continue your activity aerwards.
Power Switch ON / OFF
Press the start / stop button to start waxing / mopping.
Press the spray button to spray water, detergent or waxing oil onto your floor.
REMARKS:
If you press the start / stop or the spraying button, the handle indicator light should light up in red.
If this is not the case, please put some AAA batteries into the battery compartment and restart your CAREboy.

Handling CAREboy
There are three levels of battery capacity, which is indicated on the detachable battery pack. Three green lights mean
100% battery, two green lights stand for 65% battery and one green light means a low battery <= 25% - you should rechar-
ge your CAREboy now.
Battery indicator
Charge the battery completely before you use your CAREboy for the first time. This usually takes about 2.5 - 3 hours. Plea-
se only use the original adapter supplied by the manufacturer and charge the CAREboy when the battery is low (1 green
light). The battery is replaceable - however, only use the removable battery supplied by the manufacturer too. Another
one could destroy your machine. Also replace the battery if the CAREboy is only able to work for less than 15 minutes
aer it has been fully charged.
Charging
CLEANING:
Clean the floor with a vacuum cleaner to remove coarse dirt. Fix the blue pads on the
rotary plates and fill the water tank with diluted Scheucher PARQUET CLEANER. Scheu-
cher PARQUET CLEANER is a waterbased cleaner with an integrated care sysstem for
a sensitive damp cleaning of parquet floors, leaving a thin oil-protection on your floor
aer cleaning. Clean your floor by slowling moving your CAREboy back and forth. Spray
the cleaner on the floor whenever necessary. Work in partial areas. Follow the instruc-
tions of Scheucher PARQUET CLEANER.
CARE:
Clean the floor as described above. Change the pads and choose the green and abso-
lutely clean ones now. Empty the tank and fill in a pure amount of Scheucher PARQUET
CARE. This is a waterbased oil care for the simple and regular maintenance of your oiled
/ waxed parquet floor. It is VOC-free and fast drying. Spray care on to your floor and
polish it by slowly moving your CAREboy back and forth again - work in partial areas.
Polish as long as no more wet residues are visible. Scheucher PARQUET CARE should
only be noticeable as a damp film - avoid a visible, wet oil film on your parquet floor.
Attention: If the amount of care oil is too high, the drying time will extend and the par-
quet floor may become slippery and cause danger. Follow the instructions of Scheucher
PARQUET CARE.
Please observe the spray distance to avoid contamination of walls or furniture at both
applications. Always clean the floor before you treat it with PARQUET CARE. Please emp-
ty the tank if you do not want to use the unit for a longer time, fill with clear water, clean
the nozzle with a few sprays and then empty the water tank again.

TROUBLESHOOTING.
During prolonged operations, the engine temperature rises. In this case, the overheating protection stops the engine.
Turn o your CAREboy and allow it to cool down without an external support.
Do not work longer than 20 minutes without interruption.
Do not put extra weight on the CAREboy.

HOW DO I CLEAN MY PADS?
Wash pads with clear water aer cleaning your floor. If heavily soiled, put the pads into your washing machine and wash at max. 60 ° C. Wash
your green pads immediately aer each treatment with parquet care to prevent the risk of a spontaneous combustion. You can also wash
them at max. 60 ° C in the washing machine. This way they are also immediately ready for use at the next time.
WHERE CAN I BUY PADS, BATTERIES OR CARE AND MAINTENANCE PRODUCTS?

IS MY CAREBOY ABLE TO REMOVE DUST AND DIRT?
The pads have a high dirt absorption capacity.
The removal of large and coarse dirt particles should still be done with a vacuum cleaner at any time.
CAN I CARRY OUT AN INITAL CARE WITH MY CAREBOY?
You receive a ready-to-use Scheucher® parquet floor and your CAREboy is designed for its routine cleaning and care. Nevertheless, for the
long-term value preservation of your floor, an initial care after installation is highly recommended in order to once again protect all of the
edges against moisture intrusion. An initial care cannot be carried out with a CAREboy, but preferably by your floorer with our professional
care wax oil.
CAN I POUR OTHER LIQUIDS / DETERGENTS INTO THE WATERTANK OF MY CAREBOY?
Yes, it is your CAREboy - but only at your own risk. Any solvent-borne product will destroy your CAREboy‘s nozzle. Only Scheucher Parkett
CARE and CLEANER are approved by Scheucher to use it together with your CAREboy.
HOW LONG DOES THE BATTERY LAST?
When fully charged, approx. 30 - 40 minutes. This usually suices for an area of approx. 40 - 50 m²
(that‘s equivalent to 1 bottle of Scheucher PARQUET CARE).
CAN I USE SCHEUCHER PARQUET CLEANER PURE?
No, it is a highly concentrated cleaning agent that can only be applied diluted with water at the ratio of at least 1:100.
DO I HAVE TO CLEAN THE FLOOR BEFORE I TREAT IT WITH PARQUET CARE?
Yes, a cleansing has to be carried out before each care, cause you are applying a protective layer that has to be free from dust and dirt.
To preserve the beautiful look of your parquet floor and protect it‘s suface please avoid mechanical damages whereever possible.
To avoid scratches and serious damages it is recommended to place mats in the entrance area and remove sand and grit with a broom
immediately. Equip your movable furniture with felt gliders and use special rolls for wooden floors on oice chairs. Do not leave any
wet items on your parquet floor. To assess results properly, try out care and/or cleaning procedures in an inconspicuous place before
applying the product. Do not use strong alkaline cleaners or acids, they can irreversibly discolour your wood.
Wood as a natural material reacts more sensitively to changes of the relative humidity than to changes of temperature. Therefore the
key to success lies in the observance of an optimim relative humidity of your indoor air. This generally requires periodic cleaning and
the maintenance of your floor as well as an appropriate air humidification in the heating season. We therefor recommend cold humidi-
fiers with an integrated sterilization system.
