1.1 SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS – This manual contains important safety and
operating instructions. Read, understand and follow all instructions before using
the product.
1.2 DO NOT allow children to use the product without adult supervision.
1.3 DO NOT look directly into the light or shine the light directly into the eyes of any
person or animal.
1.4 DO NOT operate the unit if it is damaged in any way; take it to a qualied service
person.
1.5 Turn off all lights before charging.
1.6 DO NOT leave the battery in a discharged state.
1.7 WARNING! Do not use any other chargers except the ones provided to charge the
internal battery. Use of a charger not supplied by Schumacher® Electric Corporation
may result in a risk of re, injury to persons and/or damage to property.
1.8 DO NOT use the unit with a charger which has a damaged cord or plug; replace
the cord or plug immediately.
1.9 IMPORTANT! Make sure the voltage marked on the charger plug is the same as
the unit.
1.10 To reduce the risk of damage to the charger plug, pull by the plug, rather than the
cord when disconnecting the charger.
1.11 DO NOT use the provided charger to charge or power any other electrical item.
1.12 DO NOT expose the charger to water or use in damp conditions.
2. PERSONAL SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
WARNING! TO REDUCE THE RISK OF BURNS OR FIRE, FOLLOW THESE
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS:
2.1 DO NOT disassemble the unit; take it to a qualied service person when service
or repair is required. Incorrect reassembly may result in failure of the waterproof
seal and damage to the unit.
2.2 DO NOT crush, puncture, short external contacts or dispose of in re or water.
2.3 Recycle or dispose of the used battery as required by local regulations.
2.4 If the electrolyte in the cells gets on your skin, wash thoroughly with soap
and water. If it gets into your eyes, rinse thoroughly with cool water and seek
immediate medical attention.

2.5 This product contains a lithium ion battery. In case of re, you may use water, a
foam extinguisher, Halon, CO2, ABC dry chemical, powdered graphite, copper powder
or soda (sodium carbonate) to extinguish the re. Once the re is extinguished, douse
the product with water, an aqueous-based extinguishing agent, or other nonalcoholic
liquids to cool the product and prevent the battery from re-igniting. NEVER attempt to
pick up or move a hot, smoking, or burning product, as you may be injured.
2.6 WARNING: This product contains one or more chemicals known to the State of
California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm.

5. CHARGING
IMPORTANT! CHARGE THE FLARE IMMEDIATELY AFTER PURCHASE, AFTER
EACH USE, AND AT LEAST EVERY 6 MONTHS. Failure to do this will reduce the
battery’s capacity and may void the warranty.
5.1 The Flare may be charged using either a 12V car charger or AC wall charger
(included).
5.2 Connect the micro USB end of the charging cable to the micro USB port of the
Magnetic Connnetor Hub.
5.3 Insert the USB end of the cable into the USB port on the wall charger or car
charger.
5.4 Connect the Magnetic Connector Hub to the Flare, aligning the (+) and (-) terminal
symbols on each. The magnet in the center will keep the two items connected.
5.5 Plug the 12V or AC charging adapter into either a 12V power receptacle or a live
AC wall outlet.
5.6 LED indicators
• Red LEDs on the wall charger and magnetic connector hub indicate charging.
• Green LEDs on the wall charger and magnetic connector hub indicate
completed charge, misaligned terminals or reverse polarity.
5.7 Recharge the are after use, and at least every 6 months.
6. OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
6.1 Using the magnet on the back, attach to any magnetic metal surface.
6.2 The LED Road Flare is waterproof. It may be safely used for marine applications and
in wet environments, and submerged to a depth of 33 feet. It will oat unless secured.
6.3 Press the ON/OFF button to rotate through the following 9 light patterns:
1. Rotate
2. Quad ash
3. Single blink
4. Alternating blinks
5. SOS rescue (Morse code)
6. Steady on: high
7. Steady on: low
8. 2 LED Flashlight
9. 4 LED Flashlight

6.4 Alternate operation: To turn off the are without cycling through the 9 light patterns,
press and hold the ON/OFF button for 2 seconds. Two LEDs will ash ve times
and then turn off. When ready to operate again, press the ON/OFF button and it will
return to the last ash pattern that was selected before turning off.
6.5 Recharge the are after use, and at least every 6 months. VOTING
7. MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS
7.1 After charging and before performing maintenance, unplug and disconnect the are.
7.2 Do not use alcohol, ammable solutions, or other solvents on or near this unit.
Clean only with warm water and a soft cloth.
7.3 Any servicing should be performed by qualied service personnel.
8. STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS
8.1 Store inside, in a cool, dry place.
8.2 Take care to avoid/prevent damage to the chargers, cords and unit. Failure to do
so could result in personal injury or property damage.
8.3 Charge the are’s internal battery immediately after purchase, after every use
and every 6 months.
8.4 All batteries are affected by temperature. The ideal storage temperature is at
70°F. The internal battery will gradually self-discharge (lose power) over time,
especially in warm environments. Leaving the battery in a discharged state may
result in permanent battery damage. To ensure satisfactory performance and
avoid permanent damage, charge the internal battery every 6 months.
9. TROUBLESHOOTING

THE ORIGINAL RETAIL PURCHASER OF THIS PRODUCT. THIS LIMITED
WARRANTY IS NOT TRANSFERABLE OR ASSIGNABLE.
Schumacher Electric Corporation (the “Manufacturer”) warrants this road are
for one (1) year from the date of purchase at retail against defective material or
workmanship that may occur under normal use and care. If your unit is not free
from defective material or workmanship, Manufacturer’s obligation under this
warranty is solely to repair or replace your product with a new or reconditioned
unit at the option of the Manufacturer. It is the obligation of the purchaser to
forward the unit, along with proof of purchase and mailing charges prepaid
to the Manufacturer or its authorized representatives in order for repair or
replacement to occur.
Manufacturer does not provide any warranty for any accessories used with this
product that are not manufactured by Schumacher Electric Corporation and
approved for use with this product. This Limited Warranty is void if the product
is misused, subjected to careless handling, repaired, or modied by anyone
other than Manufacturer or if this unit is resold through an unauthorized retailer.
Manufacturer makes no other warranties, including, but not limited to, express,
implied or statutory warranties, including without limitation, any implied warranty
of merchantability or implied warranty of tness for a particular purpose. Further,
Manufacturer shall not be liable for any incidental, special or consequential damage
claims incurred by purchasers, users or others associated with this product, including,

seguridad y operación importantes. Lea, entienda y siga todas las instrucciones
antes de usar el producto.
1.2 NO permita que los niños usen el producto sin supervisión de un adulto.
1.3 NO mire directamente hacia la luz ni dirija la luz directamente a los ojos de una
persona o de un animal.
1.4 NO haga funcionar la unidad si esta se ha dañado de alguna forma; llévela a una

2.1 NO desarme la unidad; llévela a una persona de mantenimiento calicada

2.2 NO aplaste, perfore ni provoque un cortocircuito con los contactos externos ni los
deseche en fuego o agua.
2.3 Recicle o deseche la batería usada según las exigencias de las regulaciones locales.
2.4 Si el electrolito de las células cae en su piel, lávela meticulosamente con agua y
con jabón. Si cae en sus ojos, enjuáguelos bien con agua fría y busque atención
médica inmediata.

2.5 Este producto contiene una batería de ión-litio. En caso de incendio, puede utilizar
agua, extintor de espuma, halón, CO2 polvo químico seco ABC, grato en polvo, polvo
de cobre o soda (carbonato de sodio) para extinguir el fuego. Una vez que el fuego
se haya extinguido, empape el producto con agua, un agente de extinción basado
en agua u otros líquidos sin alcohol para enfriar el producto y evitar que la batería se
vuelva a encender. NUNCA intente levantar o mover un producto caliente, que emita
humo o que esté en llamas, ya que puede resultar herido.
2.6 ADVERTENCIA: Este producto contiene una o más sustancias químicas conocidas
en el Estado de California como causantes de cáncer y defectos de nacimiento u
otros daños reproductivos.
3. INSTRUCCIONES DE INSTALACIÓN
3.1 Retire cualquier lazos de cable y desenrolle el cable antes de su uso.

5. CARGANDO
IMPORTANTE: CARGUE LA UNIDAD INMEDIATAMENTE DESPUÉS DE LA
COMPRA, DESPUÉS DE CADA USO Y AL MENOS CADA 6 MESES.
Si no lo hace, se reducirá la capacidad de la batería y la garantía puede anularse.
5.1 La luz se puede cargar utilizando un cargador de auto de 12 V o cargador de
pared de CA (incluido).
5.2 Conecte el extremo de micro USB del cable de carga al puerto de micro-USB del
hub de conexión magnético.
5.3 Inserte el extremo del USB del cable en el puerto USB del cargador de pared o
cargador de auto.
5.4 Conecte el hub de conexión magnético a la luz, alineando los símbolos de los
terminales (+) y (-) en cada uno. El imán del centro mantendrá los dos elementos
conectados.
5.5 Enchufe el adaptador de carga de 12 V o de CA en una toma de corriente de 12 V
o en una toma de pared de CA.
5.6 Indicadores LED
• LEDs rojos en el cargador de pared y el hub de conexión magnético indicar
que la carga.
• LEDs verdes en el cargador de pared y el hub de conexión magnétic indican
nalizado la carga, terminales desalineadas o polaridad inversa.
5.7 Recargue la unidad después de usarla y por lo menos cada 6 meses.
6. INSTRUCCIONES DE OPERACIÓN
6.1 Con los imanes de la parte posterior, fíjela a cualquier supercie metálica magnética.
6.2 La luz de carretera de led es resistente al agua. Se puede usar de forma
segura para aplicaciones marinas y en ambientes húmedos, y sumergirse a una
profundidad de 33 pies. Flotará a menos que esté asegurada.
6.3 Presione el botón de ENCENDIDO/APAGADO para girar a través de los 9 patrones
de luz siguientes:
1. Girar
2. Parpadeo cuádruple
3. Parpadeo único
4. Parpadeos alternados

6.4 Funcionamiento alternado: para apagar la luz sin recorrer los 9 patrones de luz,
presione y mantenga presionado el botón de ENCENDIDO/APAGADO durante 2
segundos. Dos ledes parpadearán cinco veces y luego se apagarán. Cuando esté
lista para funcionar de nuevo, presione el botón de ENCENDIDO/APAGADO y
regresará al último patrón de iluminación que fue seleccionado antes de apagar.
6.5 Recargue la unidad después de usarla y por lo menos cada 6 meses.
7. INSTRUCCIONES DE MANTENIMIENTO
7.1 Después de cargar la luz y antes de hacerle mantenimiento, desenchúfela y
desconéctela.
7.2 No utilice alcohol, soluciones inamables ni otros disolventes en esta unidad o
cerca de ella. Solo límpiela con agua tibia y un paño suave.
7.3 Cualquier mantenimiento debe ser realizado por personal de servicio calicado.
8. INSTRUCCIONES DE ALMACENAMIENTO
8.1 Guarde bajo techo, en un lugar fresco y seco.
8.2 Preste atención para evitar o prevenir daños a los cargadores, a los cables y a la
unidad. Si no lo hace, podrían producirse lesiones personales o daños a la propiedad.
8.3 Cargue la batería interna inmediatamente después de la compra, después de
cada uso y cada 6 meses.
8.4 La temperatura afecta a todas las baterías. La temperatura ideal de almacenamiento es
de 70 °F (21 °C). La batería interna se descargará (perderá energía) automáticamente de
manera gradual con el tiempo, especialmente en temperaturas cálidas. Dejar la batería
descargada puede provocarle un daño permanente. Para asegurar un rendimiento
satisfactorio y evitar daños permanentes, cargue la batería interna cada 6 meses.

aprobados para su uso con este producto. La presente Garantía Limitada será
nula si el producto se utiliza en forma errónea, se trata de manera inadecuada,
es reparado o modicado por personas que nos sean el Fabricante o si esta
unidad es revendida a través de un vendedor minorista no autorizado.

1.8 NE PAS utiliser l’unité avec un chargeur qui a un cordon ou la che est
endommagé, remplacez le cordon ou la prise immédiatement.
1.9 IMPORTANT! Assurez-vous que la tension indiquée sur la che du chargeur est
la même que l’unité.
1.10 Pour réduire le risque de dommages à la che du chargeur, tirez sur la prise
plutôt que sur le cordon pour débrancher le chargeur.
1.11 NE PAS utiliser le chargeur fourni pour charger ou alimenter un autre appareil électrique.
1.12 NE PAS exposer le chargeur à l’eau ou dans des conditions humides.
2. MESURES DE SÉCURITÉ PERSONNELLE
AVERTISSEMENT! POUR RÉDUIRE LE RISQUE DE BRÛLURES OU UN

2.1 NE PAS démonter l’unité; prendre à un technicien qualié quand une réparation
est nécessaire. Un assemblage incorrect peut causer une défaillance du joint
d’étanchéité et endommager le dispositif.
2.2 NE PAS écraser, percer, court-circuiter ou jeter au feu ou dans l’eau.
2.3 Recyclez ou éliminez les piles usagées conformément à la réglementation locale.
2.4 Si l’électrolyte dans les cellules avec la peau, laver totalement avec de l’eau et du
savon. Si elle pénètre dans vos yeux, rincer beaucoup à l’eau froide et consulter
immédiatement un médecin.

2.5 Ce produit contient une batterie au lithium-ion. Si le produit venait à prendre
feu, vous pouvez utiliser de l’eau, un extincteur à mousse, de l’halon, du CO2,
de la poudre ABC, de la poudre de graphite, de la poudre de cuivre ou du
bicarbonate de sodium pour éteindre le feu. Une fois que le feu est éteint, arrosez
le produit avec de l’eau, un agent d’extinction à base aqueuse ou d’autres

5. CHARGE
5.1 IMPORTANT! CHARGER LA FLARE DE ROUTE IMMÉDIATEMENT APRÈS
L’ACHAT, APRÈS CHAQUE UTILISATION, ET AU MOINS TOUS LES 6 MOIS.
Défaut de faire cela peut réduire la capacité de la batterie et peut annuler la garantie.
5.2 Connectez l’extrémité micro USB du câble de chargement au port micro USB du
connecteur magnétique.
5.3 Insérez l’extrémité USB du câble dans le port USB du chargeur mural ou du
chargeur pour la voiture.
5.4 Connectez le connecteur magnétique à are de route, alignant les symboles
terminaux (+) et (-). L’aimant au centre gardera les deux éléments connectés.
5.5 Brancher l’adaptateur de charge de 12 V ou CA dans une prise de courant de 12
V ou une prise murale CA.
5.6 Indicateurs LED
• Le voyants LED rouges sur le chargeur mural et le connecteur magnétique
indiquent la charge est en cours.
• Le voyants LED vertes sur le chargeur mural et le connecteur magnétique
indiquent n de chargement, les bornes désalignement ou inversion de polarité.
5.7 Rechargez are de route après utilisation, et au moins tous les 6 mois.
6. CONSIGNES D’UTILISATION
6.1 Utilisez les aimants à l’arrière pour xer à toute surface métallique magnétique.
6.2 La are de route LED est étanche. Elle peut être utilisée en toute sécurité pour
des applications maritimes, dans des conditions humides et peut être submergée
à une profondeur de 33 pieds. Elle ottera si elle n’est pas sécurisée.
6.3 Appuyez sur le bouton Marche/Arrêt pour faire le tour des 9 motifs lumineux:

6.4 Fonctionnement alternatif : Pour éteindre are de route sans faire déler les 9
motifs lumineux, appuyez et maintenez le bouton Marche/Arrêt enfoncé pendant
2 secondes. Deux voyants DEL clignoteront cinq fois avant de s’éteindre. Lorsque
vous êtes prêt à l’utiliser de nouveau, appuyez sur le bouton Marche/Arrêt et elle
reviendra au dernier motif lumineux sélectionné avant de s’éteindre.
6.5 Rechargez la are de route après utilisation, et au moins tous les 6 mois.
7. INSTRUCTIONS DE MAINTENANCE
7.1 Après utilisation et avant de procéder à l’entretien, débrancher et débranchez la
are de route.
7.2 N’utilisez pas d’alcool, de solutions inammables ou d’autres solvants sur ou près
de ce dispositif. Nettoyez seulement à l’eau tiède avec un chiffon doux.
7.3 Toutes les réparations doivent être effectuées par du personnel qualié.
8. INSTRUCTIONS DE STOCKAGE
8.1 Entreposez-le à l’intérieur, dans un endroit sec et frais.
8.2 Prenez soin d’éviter / prévenir les dommages aux chargeurs, câbles et l’unité. Ne
pas le faire pourrait entraîner des blessures ou des dommages matériels.
8.3 Rechargez la batterie interne immédiatement après l’achat, après chaque
utilisation et tous les 6 mois.
8.4 Toutes les batteries sont affectées par la température. La température de stockage
idéale est de 70 ° F (21 ° C). La batterie interne sera progressivement auto-décharge
(perte de puissance) au l du temps, en particulier dans des environnements chauds.
Laissez la batterie dans un état déchargé peut entraîner des dommages irréversibles
à la batterie. Pour assurer une performance satisfaisante et éviter des dommages
permanents, charger la batterie interne tous les 6 mois.
