PRELIMINARY: Disconnectthe negative batterycable.
ANTENNA:Thefactory antenna islocatedrear window.
RADIOREMOVALAND IN-DASH INSTALLATION:
Note: The factory stereo provision is for a DINandHalf
radio with a pocket. When installing an aftermarket
DIN size radio, a dash installation kit is needed. We
recommend the Scosche HA1567B installation kit.
1. Usingpanel removal tool,pry out lowerdash panel
pocket,unplug and remove.
2. Exract (2) Philips screws from bottom of radio bezel
assembly.
3. Pry out radio bezel assembly, disconnect and remove.
FRONT DOOR SPEAKER REMOVALAND INSTALLATION:
Note: The factory speaker provision is for a 6 1/2" speaker
mounted to a factory adapter. When installing an
aftermarket 5 ¼ or 6 ½” speaker no adapter is
required.
1. Using small pick, pry off screw cover in interior door handle
andextract (2)Philips screws, removehandle.
2. Removewindowtriangle using panelremovaltool.
3. Usingpanel removal tool,pry off coveron bottom ofdoor
pulland extract (2) Philips screws.
4. Pry off door panel by pulling out then up, disconnect and
remove.
5. Push in on tabs of speaker adapter to release, disconnect
speakerandremove.
REARSPEAKERREMOVALAND INSTALLATION:
Note: The factory speaker provision is for a 6 ½”
mounted to the factory metal. When installing an
aftermarket speaker a speaker adapter is not required.
1. Fold rear seats down, pull back weatherstripping on B
pillarpanels and remove.
2. Remove outer seat sections by extracting (2) 10 mm
bolts and pulling up.
3. Pull up and out on rear deck to remove, disconnect
third brake light.
4. Extract (3) 10 mm bolts from speaker, disconnect and
remove.
Note: Screws accessed through lower panel.
