INSTRUCTIONS FOR
MICRO AIR COMPRESSOR WITH WORKLIGHT
12V

Thank you for purchasing a Sealey product. Manufactured to a high standard, this product will, if used according to these
instructions, and properly maintained, give you years of trouble free performance.
IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ THESE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY. NOTE THE SAFE OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS, WARNINGS & CAUTIONS. USE
THE PRODUCT CORRECTLY AND WITH CARE FOR THE PURPOSE FOR WHICH IT IS INTENDED. FAILURE TO DO SO MAY CAUSE DAMAGE AND/OR
PERSONAL INJURY AND WILL INVALIDATE THE WARRANTY. KEEP THESE INSTRUCTIONS SAFE FOR FUTURE USE.
1. SAFETY
9Familiarise yourself with the application, limitations and potential hazards of the compressor.
WARNING! Disconnect the compressor from the battery before changing accessories, servicing or performing any maintenance.
9This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of
experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person
responsible for their safety.
9Use only the supplied adaptors.
9Maintain the compressor in good condition, DO NOT use if damaged.
9Ensure that there are no flammable or combustible materials (including gases) near the compressor when in use.
WARNING! This compressor is capable of high pressure. DO NOT exceed the maximum safe pressure of the item being inflated.
WARNING! The gauge on the compressor is for guidance only. Where pressure is critical (e.g. tyres) check with a gauge of known
accuracy.
8DO NOT leave compressor operating unattended.
8DO NOT operate in wet or damp conditions.
WARNING! To prevent overheating and subsequent damage to the unit, switch off after 15 minutes continuous operation and allow to cool
for 15 minutes before switching back on.
9After use store in a safe, dry, childproof area with the connector locking lever in the unlocked position.
2. INTRODUCTION
Compact design incorporating integrl storage for air output hose. Features a work light and pressure guage which reads up to 5.5bar/80psi.
Powered by a 12V motor suitable for inating tyres on motorcycles and cars. supplied with vehicle accessory socket plug and battery clips.

4. OPERATION
4.1. Preparation for use:
NOTE: Your ignition may need to be set to position ‘I’ (on) for the 12V output from the 12V accessory socket to function. Furthermore, it is
recommended that your car engine is running when using this product so that your battery is not depleted and full power is supplied to the
unit. (Always check that the car is in neutral and the handbrake is on). This compressor is designed for use with a car 12V or Motorcycle DC
power supply; do not connect to any other type of electrical power.
4.2. Power connection:
Connect either the vehical ‘accessory plug or the ‘battery clips’ to the ‘power lead’. For car use, plug in the ‘car accessory plug’ into the cars
accessory socket. For bike use, connect the ‘battery clips’ onto the terminal of the battery. Red to + and Black to –.
NOTE: When connected the LED light will be lit.
4.3. Using the Compressor:
Attach the air line securely to the valve on the tyre or any other item to be inated (use adaptors if necessary Screw the adaptors into the Air
Line. Inating adapters for air rubber rings/air beds/footballs, etc.)
Press the ‘switch’ on and the compressor will start.
The compressor will inate the tyre (or other item).
Periodically stop the compressor to allow the gauge to steady so that it can be read.
Once the correct pressure is reached, switch off and disconnect the air line from the valve.
NOTE: It is recommended in the interests of your safety that you check your tyres with a BS approved tyre gauge to ensure your tyres are at
the correct pressure. Always check your tyres when they are cold.

5. TROUBLESHOOTING
Problem Posible Cause Solution
Compressor does not run. Poor connection between cigarette lighter
plug adaptor and lighter socket.
Ignition required to be on to power socket.
Socket fuse blown
Rotate plug in socketto improve contact.
Clean out socket.
Turn on ignition
Check and replace fuse if necessary
Compressor runs but does not inate Valve connector or adaptor leaking.
Other leaks
Remove and ret connector or adaptor.
Check compressor, connector hose and item
being inated for leaks
Compressor runs at reduced speed Voltage low
Overheating
Check condition of vehicle battery/charging
system
Switch off compressor immediately and leave
to cool for 30 min.

Environmental Protection
Recycle unwanted materials instead of disposing of them as waste. All tools, accessories and packaging should be
sorted, taken to a recycling centre and disposed of in a manner which is compatible with the environment.
When the product becomes completely unserviceable and requires disposal, drain off any fluids (if applicable)
into approved containers and dispose of the product and the fluids according to local regulations.

Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE). When the product is no longer required, it must be disposed
