1. SAFETY
WARNING! Put the ear defenders on before exposing yourself to noise and wear them during the whole noise exposure. Be
warned that failure to adhere to these recommendations will cause the protection a󰀨orded by the product to be severely impaired.
9Regularly check for serviceability.
9Ear defenders may be adversely a󰀨ected by certain chemical substances. Further information should be sought from manufacturer of the
chemicals that they may come into contact with.
9Ear defenders and in particular the cushions, may deteriorate with use and should be examined at frequent intervals for cracking and
deterioration. Replace after 2 to 3 years of normal use or sooner if there are any signs of deterioration.
8DO NOT replace any parts, there are no replacement parts.
9The tting of hygiene covers to the cushions may a󰀨ect the acoustic performance of the ear defenders.
9Ear protection will be reduced if the defenders are not well tted and not regularly checked.
9If the recommendations given in the instructions are not followed, the protection provided by the ear defenders will be signicantly
reduced.
WARNING! These ear-defenders are of universal size range. Ear-defenders complying with EN 352-1 are of universal size range.
Universal ear-defenders include small, medium and large size and are thus designed to t the majority of wearers including for those
whom medium size does not t.
2. INTRODUCTION
Lightweight, yet rugged construction, certied to BS EN 352-3:2002 standard. Hearing protection level in excess of the standard, with an SNR of
30dB. Fully adjustable ear cups to ensure a precise seal against the head. Suitable for use on all Worksafe helmets or any helmet with a 30mm
xing point. Fully approved to protect against high noise levels in most working environments. Nett weight: 295g
3. ATTENUATION VALUES
4. USE
A. Attach ear defenders to each side of the hard hat by sliding them into the slots.
B. Slide each ear defender housing down into the slots on each side of the helmet.
C. Place hard hat on head and adjust the ear defenders by sliding cups up and down.
D. Ensure the ear defenders are rmly attached by lifting the arms up and down.
E. To remove, push clip outwards from inside the helmet and pull from the helmet.

ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION
Recycle unwanted materials instead of disposing of them as waste. All tools, accessories and packaging should be sorted, taken to
a recycling centre and disposed of in a manner which is compatible with the environment. When the product becomes completely
unserviceable and requires disposal, drain any fluids (if applicable) into approved containers and dispose of the product and fluids
according to local regulations.

5. CLEANING
5.1. Clean with warm soapy water, DO NOT use organic solvents or alcohol for cleaning.
5.2. DISINFECTION
5.2.1. Disinfect every 3 months according to use.
5.2.2. Any part of the ear defender which is in contact with the wearer, shall be disinfected with a product suitable for use on plastics,
(materials used: Polycarbonate/Polyoxymethylene headband, Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene/High Impact Polystyrene cup and soft
Polyvinyl Chloride leather) and not known to be harmful to the wearer.
6. STORAGE
6.1. When not in use store in a clean and dry poly-bag.
