How to pair the remote to your S-Plus
Please follow the below steps to ensure that the remote is properly paired to the S-Plus.
1. Long press on the power button on the S-Plus to get the unit into locking mode.
2. Press and hold on the buttons on the side of the remote and press the home button at
the same time and wait until you hear the beep.

3. Once you hear the beep, this indicates that the remote has been paired to the S-Plus.

Why is there some dust on my new Segway
S-Plus? It seems like someone rode it before.
Each unit is tested by our staff prior to shipping to make sure that the quality standards are
met. Thus, some traces indicating prior use may appear on the foot pad and wheel. It is not
a quality issue; the mileage would be reset to zero after testing.
Why does the Segway S-Plus have a speed
limit? Does it need to be activated?
You can activate the new Segway S-PLUS by using the Ninebot App. The speed will be
limited to 7km/h and turn around slowly. The speed limit will be canceled by the APP after
the mileage reach 1km, finish the new rider tutorials.
Is the ride affected when the temperature is
low?
The temperature can affect the ride. Battery power output is 100% at 25 °C. When the
temperature is 0°C, the battery discharge power is only about 80% at 25°C. So, the
temperature is related to the ride directly more than the power of the ride. In the relatively
low temperature it is easy to crash. Drive gently and do not speed up instantly for your own
safety.
How waterproof is the Segway S-Plus?

IP54 for unit, IPx6 for battery assembly (resistant to dust, water, spill). Dustproof: Foreign
material is prevented from getting inside the vehicle. The amount of dust that can get inside
the Segway miniPLUS will have no effect on the functioning of the unit’s boards. Waterproof:
Cannot prevent water from getting in at all, therefore; do not wash it with water directly but
use a wet cloth to clean your vehicle instead. Do not ride the vehicle or minimize your speed
in heavy or moderate rain to prevent accidents (e.g. falling).
Can the battery on the Segway S-Plus be
disassembled?
The battery cannot be disassembled privately without losing the warranty. The interior
circuits would be exposed and there could be high voltage in it because of disassembly. You
would risk to encounter an electric shock due to a damage in the interior circuit.
Can the Segway S-Plus be turned on while
charging?
The Segway S-Plus cannot be turned on or used while charging. Doing so could cause
damage in both the charger and the body.
