Safety Instructions
This product has been designed with maximum safety in mind.
However, incorrect use may lead to electric shock or fire. Therefore, users must follow
these instructions when using this device.
This device uses asemiconductor unit and contains no user serviceable parts. Do not
disassemble this product, as you may be exposed to electric shock. If this product is
damaged, have it repaired by aqualified service technician.
Power source
The power supply for this unit must match the specifications on the model name plate.
Heat source
Keep this unit away from heat sources such as stoves or direct sunlight.
Cleaning
Prior to cleaning, please disconnect power first. Do not use liquid cleaners or corrosive
liquids for cleaning - only clean the unit with asoft cloth.
Heavy objects
Do not place heavy objects on the unit as this may damage the unit.
Connecting other devices
Before connecting other devices to this unit, please make sure to disconnect the power.
Otherwise, you could damage your device.
Malfunctions requiring repair
If any of the following problems occurs, please disconnect power to the unit and contact
aqualified service technician.
A. Power cord or plug is damaged.
B. Liquids or other foreign objects have penetrated inside the unit.
C. If the unit does not work even if it’sbeing operated according to the instructions, don’t
press any buttons other than those described in these instructions. Doing so may
damage the unit and increase the difficulty of repairing the unit.
D. This unit has been dropped from agreat height.
E. Burns can be smelled from the product inside.
Maintenance
If you don’t have enough technical knowledge necessary to maintain this unit, don’t
attempt to repair it by yourself. By removing the cover, you are exposed to arisk of
electric shock. If needed, please contact aqualified service technician.

Replacement of parts
If you need to replace any part of this unit, ask your service technician to replace it with
spare parts of the same model. If other replacement spare parts are used from adifferent
model, this may result in electric shock or shorten the life of the unit.

safety check to make sure that the unit’soperation is safe.

Putting into Operation
Before first use, be sure to read the safety instructions contained in this user'smanual
carefully.
Before first use, please charge the BT speaker to amaximum level. Switch the rocker
switch to the on position “I” to turn on the BT speaker. Switching on is accompanied by
an audible signal. To turn off the BT speaker, switch the rocker switch to off “0” position.
To change the source of the music being played, press and hold the “Play / Pause /
SCAN” button while it is on.
Transmission and BT Speaker Position
1. The BT speaker offers 2 transmission options.
- use the “H” handle located on the top of the BT speaker.
- attach the strap to the holes provided for the “S” attachment. You can then carry
the BT speaker over your shoulder.
2. The speaker offers 1 positioning option. The side designated for the correct position is
always fitted with rubber feet on the underside of the BT speaker.
Caution:
Always position the device so that it does not endanger the health of persons in
the vicinity or cause damage to property.
Pairing Devices via Bluetooth
Turn on the BT speaker in Bluetooth mode and search for the Bluetooth name “SSS
3900 KIDS” in the device you want to pair. Start the pairing process. If you are requested
to enter apairing code while your device and the BT speaker are pairing, use the code:
“0000”. To disconnect the paired device, end the pairing session on your mobile device
or long hold the “Change source” button. Disconnection will be indicated by an acoustic
tone.
Note:
To ensure astable Bluetooth connection, make sure that the distance between the BT
speaker and your connected device is kept within 10 meters.

TWS Feature
If you purchase another speaker “SSS 3900 KIDS”, you can pair them together for
optimal stereo sound. First, make sure your device is not connected to any BT speaker.
Then press the “TWS” button on each of the BT speakers and wait until the “True
wireless paird” message is heard. Then connect your mobile phone to the parent BT
speaker. The device to which your mobile device is connected is set as the left audio
channel.
Changing the volume level using the rotary volume control will automatically affect both
paired BT speakers. To cancel pairing, press the “TWS” button on one of the BT speakers.
You will be informed about the cancelled pairing with the message “True wireless
disconnected”.
Note:
In TWS mode, microphone control is performed on the BT speaker to which the
microphone is connected.
Caution:
The TWS feature is only available in the Bluetooth mode. It is not possible to pair
the device with another type of BT speaker with TWS function, even within are-
edition of products with adifferent Bluetooth name.
Audio AUX IN
The BT speaker is equipped with a3.5mm jack. Your device can be connected to the BT
speaker via the supplied audio cable. First connect the audio plug to your device and then
to the BT speaker’sjack.
Caution:
Before connecting your device to the BT speaker, please make sure that the
output signal from your device is set to minimum (minimum output volume). This
will prevent the BT speaker from damage. When the audio cable is connected,
the BT speaker does not meet the water ingression protection class.
Note:
In this mode, not all functions of the BT speaker are available. The Bluetooth function
is not active if the audio jack is connected to the BT speaker.

Play / Pause / SCAN Button
Press the “Play / Pause / SCAN” button briefly to start or pause music playback during
aBluetooth connection when amemory card or USB storage media is inserted. In FM
mode, the button is used to automatically search for available FM stations.
Operating the Rotary Controls
Change the position of the rotary control (+/-) to set the desired output value on the BT
speaker. Turn the rotary control to the left to decrease the setting value. Turn the rotary
control to the right to increase the setting value.
1. Volume control
Turn the rotary control to adjust the desired output volume level from the BT speakers.
Adjusting the output volume will not affect the volume of the microphone inputs,
wireless microphone and connected guitar.
2. “BASS” setting control
Turn the rotary control to adjust the bass level you want.
3. “TREBLE” setting control
Turn the rotary control to adjust the treble level you want.
4. “MIC VOL” microphone volume control
Turn the rotary control to adjust the microphone volume level to your desired level
(applies to “MIC 1”, “MIC 2”and wireless microphone input)
5. “ECHO” level setting
Turn the rotary control to adjust the microphone echo level to your desired level
(applies to “MIC 1”, “MIC 2” and wireless microphone input)
6. “GUITAR VOL” guitar input volume control
Turn the rotary control to set the volume level you want for the connected guitar.
Caution:
Before starting to play music, make sure the volume control is not turned up to
the maximum level.
FM Radio
Press the “MODE/SHIFT” button repeatedly on the unit until FM and broadcasting
frequency appear on the display.
To search for stations within range and store them automatically in the preset memory,
long press “the PLAY / PAUSE / SCAN” button in FM reception mode. We recommend
that you perform acomplete station search at least once before using the radio reception
function. All stations found will remain in memory even after the power is turned off.
When the machine finishes searching, it automatically tunes in to preset number 1 (P01).
Use the “change to lower FM frequency” and “change to higher FM frequency” buttons to
change the saved FM frequency.

Note:
For best reception, place the device in an open area where the FM band will not be
inhibited.
Light Effects
The BT speaker is equipped with light effects in the speaker area. To turn off the light
effects, press the “light effects” button. To switch on the light effects, press the “light
effects” button briefly.
Note:
In FM radio mode, the lighting effects cannot be switched on due to possible
interference.
Turning off BT Speaker Notifications and Alerts
Press and hold the “light effects / turn on and off BT speaker alert messages” button to
turn the BT speaker notification and alert messages off or on. When turned off and on,
the BT speaker will remember the last selected mode.
Caution:
No notifications will be active in the disabled state. Charge the BT speaker as
apreventive measure. Avoid using the sound at amaximum level.
Power Bank Feature
The BT speaker can be also used as aPower bank to charge another portable devices.
Connect your mobile device to the USB-Aslot “DC 5 VOUT”. The charging will take
place automatically as long as the BT speaker is turned on. This is afeature that does not
replace charging as efficiently as charging aportable device from acharging adapter.
Playback from USB Storage Media / Memory Card
USB-APlayback
Insert aUSB storage device with audio content into the USB slot “for playback from
memory device”. The music playback from the connected storage will start automatically.
Upload your music to the storage in the order in which it will be played by the BT
speaker.

Memory Card Playback
Insert the memory card with the contacts towards the centre of the BT speaker. When
you insert amemory card, the BT speaker will automatically start playing back its
contents. If there is no file to play on the memory card, the BT speaker will switch to the
last active source being played. To release the TF memory card, press it gently into the
BT speaker with your fingernail or ablunt instrument and the card will release. Then you
can carefully remove it with your fingernails (or with tweezers).
Caution:
Due to anumber of devices on the market, compatibility and playback support
are not guaranteed for all media. The memory devices you want to connect
should be tested in advance and/or formatted as FAT32. The playback of
protected media, files or content stored inside them may fail.
Voice Recording on USB-A
Insert an empty USB storage device into the USB slot “for playback from memory
device”. Press the “REC/DEL” button to record your voice from the microphone to the
USB storage device. The recorded audio file will be saved on your USB storage device
in the REC folder, the most recent file will have the highest number. The files created are
without system values such as time and date.
To stop recording, press the “REC/DEL” button, the recording will stop and the last track
you recorded will start. To view or play all previous tracks, insert the USB storage device
into your computer. The BT speaker is set to no longer interfere with the REC folder.
During playback of the last track, pressing and holding the “REC/DEL” button will erase
the last recorded track and start playing the previous track.
Caution:
For copyright reasons, only audio from microphones can be recorded to the USB
storage device.
Changing the Equalizer
The device will offer two preset sound modes. Press the “INDOOR” or “OUTDOOR” button
to change the equalizer.

Microphones / Guitar Input / MIC PRIORITY Function
The microphone control on the BT speaker is common to all inputs marked “MIC 1”, “MIC
2” and wireless microphone.
MIC PRIORITY Function
The on function is used to suppress the music being played from sources such as FM,
Bluetooth, etc. The audio being played will be suppressed and the transmission from the
microphones will be prioritised.
Wireless microphone
Awireless microphone is included. Insert two AA/LR6 1.5V batteries into the wireless
microphone before first use. Unscrew the bottom microphone cover in acounterclockwise
direction. Insert the prescribed batteries with polarity “+” and “-” according to the drawing
inside the wireless microphone. Screw the bottom cover clockwise. Switch the microphone
on with the “on/off” switch to the ON position and wait afew seconds for the wireless
microphone to connect to the switched on BT speaker. The red LED will show the wireless
microphone status on. To turn off the wireless microphone, switch the “on/off” switch to
the OFF position.
Cable Microphones
If you want to connect multiple microphones to the speaker, you can use the prepared
microphone inputs labelled “MIC 1” and “MIC 2”. Connect your mono dynamic microphone
with unbalanced 6.3 mm jack connection to the inputs.
Guitar Input
The guitar input marked “GUITAR IN” on the control panel is ready for guitar connection.
The volume control of the guitar input is done by turning the “GUITAR VOL” control knob.
Caution:
Avoid feedback by keeping the microphone far enough away from the SSS
3900 KIDS speakers. If you get too close, feedback will occur and may result in
damage to the speakers or the hearing of aperson near the system.

Charging the BT Speaker
Acharged battery provides power for several hours of operation at normal volume levels.
Ahigh volume consumes more battery power; therefore, we recommend listening at
normal volume levels. To charge the BT speaker, please connect the charging adapter to
the mains and then to the BT speaker. Only use the original charging adapter supplied
with the BT speaker. The charging indicator on the control panel “C” will glow red until
the battery is fully charged. Fully charged status will be indicated by ablue LED. Alow
battery level will be indicated by an audible alert.
Caution:
For charging, use only the original accessories supplied with the appliance. To
achieve the maximum battery lifetime, it is best not to start charging until the low
battery audible alert is output. Charge continuously until fully charged. When the
battery operating time becomes very short, the battery lifetime has been used up;
we recommend that you have the battery replaced at your authorized centre.
Recommendation:
If the unit is not to be used for an extended period of time, we recommend to fully
charge the battery once every two to three months. We recommend to store the
unit with athe battery charged to prevent irreparable damage to the battery (loss of
capacity).

EN Warranty conditions
Warranty card is not apart of the device packaging.
This product is warranted for the period of 24 months from the date of purchase to the end-user. Warranty
is limited to the following conditions. Warranty is referred only to the customer goods using for common
domestic use. The claim for service can be applied either at dealer’sshop where the product was bought, or
at below mentioned authorized service shops. The end-user is obligated to set up aclaim immediately when
the defects appeared but only till the end of warranty period. The end user is obligated to cooperate to certify
the claiming defects. Only completed and clean (according to hygienic standards) product will be accepted.
In case of eligible warranty claim the warranty period will be prolonged by the period from the date of claim
application till the date of taking over the product by end-user, or the date the end-user is obligated to take it
over. To obtain the service under this warranty, end-user is obligated to certify his claim with duly completed
following documents: receipt, certificate of warranty, certificate of installation.
This warranty is void especially if apply as follows:
Defects which were put on sale.
Wear-out or damage caused by common use.
The product was damaged by unprofessional or wrong installation, used in contrary to the applicable
instruction manual, used in contrary to legal enactment and common process of use or used for another
purpose which has been designed for.
The product was damaged by uncared-for or insufficient maintenance.
The product was damaged by dirt, accident of force majeure (natural disaster, fire, and flood).
Defects on functionality caused by low duality of signal, electromagnetic field interference etc.
The product was mechanically damaged (e.g. broken button, fall).
Damage caused by use of unsuitable media, fillings, expendable supplies (batteries) or by unsuitable
working conditions (e.g. high temperatures, high humidity, quakes).
Repair, modification or other failure action to the product by unauthorized person.
End-user did not prove enough his right to claim (time and place of purchase).
Data on presented documents differs from data on products.
Cases when the claiming product cannot be indentified according to the presented documents (e.g. the
serial number or the warranty seal has been damaged).
