INSERTING BATTERIES
First insert the batteries into the outdoor sensor and then into the
thermometer.
Open battery compartment cover. Insert 2 type AAA batteries,
ensuring that the correct polarity is maintained as shown inside the
battery compartment.
Do not use rechargeable batteries.
At temperatures below –10°C, standard batteries lose capacity,
which reduces the radio signal transmission range. Lithium batteries
suitable for winter operation can be used.
After inserting the batteries, the thermometer will automatically scan
for the sensor signal. Do not press any button during this time.
Note:
It is necessary to inspect the batteries in the outdoor sensor every
2 months to prevent damaging the sensor by possible electrolyte
leakage from the battery as a result of alternating weather conditions.

MANUAL SETTING
In normal display mode, press and hold the "SET/°F/°C" button for
a few seconds to enter the time settings. The digit being set will start
flashing. Enter the settings by pressing the "MIN/MAX/+" button.
The setting sequence is: 12/24 hour format hours minutes.
Confirm the settings by pressing the "SET" button.
If you do not perform any operation within 20 seconds, the normal
time display mode will automatically be renewed.
TEMPERATURE
The indoor temperature is automatically measured within
3–8 minutes of being turned on. Press the "SET/°F/°C" button to
switch between °C/°F.
Press the "MIN/MAX/+" button to show the min/max temperature
record for the indoor and outdoor temperatures. This figures is
always erased at 0:00 p.m.
MANUALLY INITIATING SIGNAL
RECEPTION FROM THE SENSOR
Press the "MIN/MAX/+" button for a few seconds to register a new
outdoor temperature. The antenna will start flashing. After the
temperature is registered, the antenna will stop flashing.
INSTALLATION LOCATION OF THE
SENSOR AND THE MAIN UNIT
• Install the outdoor sensor so that it is facing the main unit
(receiver) with no obstacles in the signal path, e.g. doors,
walls and furniture. Prior to permanently installing the outdoor
sensor, first test the range. Every building obstacle reduces the
transmission range. The transmission may also be affected by
heavy snow, rain or fog.

EN - 4
• Despite the outdoor sensor being resistant to the effects of
weather, it should be located away from direct sunlight, rain or
snow. The optimal location for the outdoor sensor is under the
eaves on the northern side of a building with free air circulation.
• You can place the outdoor sensor on an even surface or mount it
in a vertical position using the included stand. For the installation
it is better to use a screw than a nail.
• In the ideal case, place the outdoor sensor above soil rather than
asphalt, which may affect the accuracy of measurement.
• Do not locate the outdoor sensor near a source of heat, e.g.
a chimney or heating elements.
• Avoid locations which accumulate sunlight and radiate heat, e.g.
steel, brick or concrete structures, tiles and courtyards.
• The international norm for the correct measurement of air
temperature specifies a height of 1.25 metres above the ground.
• Ensure that the main unit is located within the operating range of
the outdoor sensor
• In the ideal case the main unit should be located directly in the
line of sight of the outdoor sensor. Do not place the main unit on
a surface that radiates heat (e.g. heating ducts or air conditioning
units) and locations subject to interference by wireless devices
(e.g. wireless telephones, wireless headsets, baby monitors and
other electronic devices).
TROUBLESHOOTING
When the outdoor sensor signal is lost, perform a reset by removing
batteries from both the sensor and the thermometer. First insert the
batteries into the sensor and then into the thermometer. Then the
temperature information will be loaded automatically.
