One Minute Long Crane
User Manual
1. Introduction
Perfect for run-and-gun shooting, small productions, music videos and weddings, the One Minute Long Crane is
light to carry and easy to assemble. The system utilizes light weight material, bringing the total weight of the
unit to 25kg while extending in lengths from 3.2m to 5,6m (see the photo below).
Easy setup and breakdown makes transportation and change of location effortless. The high quality design
utilizes axial bearings built in all joints which allow firm and stable movement for elegant and smooth shooting.

2. Mounting different Longitudes of One Minute Long Crane
To mount the One Minute Long crane, follow the steps:
Firstly, you need to assemble
the Dolly Frame, by attaching
two dolly segments with the
enclosed screw.
Unfold the legs of the tripod,
and put them into
corresponding slots in the
dolly.
NOTE: IN ORDER TO BE
FIRM AND STABLE, ONE
MINUTE LONG CRANE
MUST ALWAYS BE
MOUNTED ON DOLLY
FRAME.
Dolly frame also has lifters
with which you can fix the
crane on the spot and also level
it on uneven surfaces.
After you level the crane with
the lifter, make sure you tighten
the lifetr as shown in the
picture behind.
Put the extension 1 adapter in
the corresponding slot in the
tripod.

Fasten the crane arm to the
tripod with the enclosed crane
arm fastener, as described in
the picture. While doing that,
hold the upper end with the
other hand so that it does not
move.
dolly-tripod clip
Fasten the dolly to the tripod
using the enclosed dolly-tripod
clip, as described in the picture.
Attach the weights-holding rod
to the extension 1 from its
back-side and tighten it with
the enclosed screw.
One Minute Crane –3,2m
Small version adapter
The One Minute version
(3,2m) of the crane is now
assembled. Add the small
version adapter directly to the
extension 1 in order to add the
Remote Head.
One Minute Crane does not
need any strings.
To mount One Minute XL
crane mount the LAST
extension to the first extension
(the sequence of numbers on
the crane arm should be 1-2-3-
LAST) Use the auxiliary tripod
to hold the crane arm while you
are mounting it.
Now add the back string
holders as shown in the
pictures on the left.
To add the top and side
strings correctly please go to
the charter 2.1 Mounting the
strings)
One Minute XL Crane –4,4m
One Minute XL Crane is now
mounted.
Attach the next extensions and
tighten it with the fastener.
Please follow the numbers
written on the extensions to
assemble the crane arm.
Use the auxiliary tripod to hold
the crane arm while you are
mounting it.
Mount the LAST extension to
the second extension (the
sequence of numbers on the
crane arm should be 1-2-3-4-5-
LAST)
One Minute Long Crane –5,6m
Add the strings as shown in
the charter 2.1 Mounting the
strings.
One Minute Long Crane is
now mounted.
Put the weights onto the
weights-holder to make the
counter balance. (Weights are
not included in the set!)
* Fine balance tunes can be
made with the enclosed Velcro-
strip weight.
2.1 Mounting the strings
Different longitudes of the One Minute Long Crane
need different strings. See the picture on the right:
Top strings are thicker than others.
There are also 3 string extensions for longest version
of the crane, as shown in the picture below.
One Minute Crane - 3,2m version does not
use strings;
One Minute XL Crane - 4,2m version uses 3
springs (1 top and 2 side strings)
One Minute Long Crane - 5,6m version uses
3 springs (1 top and 2 side strings) + 3 string
extensions (one per string).
2.1.1. Attaching the strings
To attach the strings on both sides of the crane arm use the enclosed carabineers.
2.1.2. Tensing the strings
To tense the strings use the tension rollers.
PAY ATTENTION TO DO THE TENSING ONLY
WHEN YOU HAVE ATTACHED THE WEIGHTS
AND THE CAMERA WITH ALL THE
ACCESSORIES ON IT, OTHERWISE IT CAN
HAPPEN THAT YOU OVER TENSE THE CRANE
ARM AND MAKE IT TWIST.
3. Attaching the Remote Head
Any Remote Head can be mounted on One Minute Long Crane:
To mount a Remote Head
attach the L holder onto
the top of the crane arm. L
holder can be mounted in
two different ways,
depending on the way you
want to mount the remote
head or the camera.
To attach the remote head
use the enclosed 3/8˝
screw.
To attach the camera
directly to the crane use
the enclosed ¼˝ screw.
Both screws come
attached onto the front
side of the crane arm.
(See the picture on the left)
For the Remote Head
controller, there is a head-
control-plate holder
enclosed to the set.
You can mount it by
pulling its handle through
the extension 1 tripod
adapter and fastening it
with the enclosed screw.
4. Attaching the Magic Arm monitor holder
Attach the Magic Arm monitor holder, to the fillister on
the left or the right side of the extension 1 tripod adapter.
Please make sure you have tightened the magic arm firmly
(use screwdriver)
5. Pan and tilt breaks
Pan and tilt movements of the crane can be fixed with pan and tilt breaks. (See the picture below)
