1. To Adjust Tension on The Tilt:
Reach under the front center of the chair, grasp the round
knob and turn counter - clockwise to stiffen the tilt
mechanism. Turn the knob clockwise to loosen the tilt
mechanism. Rotate the knob until the desired resistance is
reached.
2. To Adjust Seat Height:
While seated, reach under the right side of the chair to find
the handle 2. Lift the handle and raise your body up slightly to
allow the chair to rise to the desired height. To lower the
seat, lift the handle while applying more weight downward on
the seat. The chair will descend until the handle is released or
the chair reaches the bottom position.
3. To Operate the Tilt:
While seated, lean backward and reach under the right
side of the chair to find handle 3. When the handle is
placed in the level position, leaning back to allow the
chair to tilt backwards. Push down the handle to lock
the angle while the desired position is reached.
4. To Adjust Back Cushion Angle:
While seated, lean backward and reach under the
right side of the chair to find the handle 4. When the
handle is placed in the level position, tilting your body
backwards to adjust the angle of back cushion, push
down the handle to lock the back angle while the
desired angle is reached.
5. To Adjust Arm Width:
Reach for the knobs underneath the arms located on
bottom of seat cushion. Turn the knobs
counter-clockwise to loosen the width adjustment
feature then turn the knobs clockwise to tighten when
you have reached your desired width.
6. To Adjust Arm Height:
Press the buttons on the chair arms. Press the buttons
to allow the arms to move up or down freely then
release the buttons once the desired height is reached.
7. To Adjust Mechanical Lumbar:
While seated, reach to the right side of the back cushion to
find the adjustment knob for the mechanical lumbar. Turn
the knob clockwise to increase the lumbar support. To
reduce the lumbar support, turn the knob counter –
clockwise. Turn the knob until the desired support is
reached.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

A. Remove all parts from carton and separate them into part number groups as indicated in parts list.
B. To begin assembly, place 5 Star Base (2) upside down and insert the Casters (1) into bottom of Base (2).
C. Turn Base (2) right side up on the floor and insert the Gas Lift (4) into center hole on the Base (2).
D. Place the Telescoping Cover (3) over the Gas Lift (4) and rest it on the Base (2).
E. Take off the Knobs (14) with Washers (12 & 13) from the Arm Brackets (6A & 6B), insert the Arm Brackets (6A & 6B)
into the sockets on the bottom of Seat Cushion (7) and fasten by using the Knobs (14) with Washers (12 & 13) .
F. Attach the Seat Plate (5) onto the bottom of the Seat Cushion (7) (with front of seat plate facing front of seat
cushion) by using 1-1/4" Screws (10) in the front holes of Seat Plate (5) and 1”Screws (11) in the rear holes of Seat
Plate (5) and tighten screws.
G. Position the assembled chair upright with the seat plate facing down. Insert the Gas Lift (4) into the center hole of
the Seat Plate (5).
H. Align Back Cushion (8) with Seat Cushion (7) by inserting Back Support Plate (9) into the rear hole of the Seat Plate
(5) as shown in Diagram 1 and tighten by using the knob on the rear right side of the Seat Plate (5). Check to make
sure the knob is loose before this step. The chair is now ready for use.
I. Periodically (every 90 days) tighten all screws in the chair.
ATTENTION: Be certain that all screws are fully tightened before using chair.
