Dieses Qualitätsprodukt ist nach aktuellen, technischen Standards gefertigt, geprüft und in einem sicherheitstechnisch
einwandfreien Zustand ausgeliefert worden. Um diesen Zustand zu erhalten und einen gefahrlosen Betrieb sicherzustellen,
muss der Anwender die Hinweise und Warnvermerke dieser Gebrauchsanweisung beachten.

HINWEIS!
Eine Reparatur der Leuchte darf nur durch den Hersteller, seinen Kundendienst oder eine Elektrofachkraft erfolgen.
Elektrofachkraft ist, wer aufgrund seiner fachlichen Ausbildung, Kenntnissen und Erfahrungen sowie Kenntnisse
der einschlägigen Normen, die übertragenen Arbeiten beurteilen und mögliche Gefahren erkennen kann.
Garantiereparaturen werden nur durch den Hersteller ausgeführt.
Anwendungsbereich
ALDEBARAN® HILINE LED Leuchten sind als Innenbeleuchtung, je nach Modell und Produkt, auch als Außen-
beleuchtung für Industrie, Handwerk, Werkstätten, Zelte, Rettungsdienste, Energieversorger, Bahn- und Verkehrsbetriebe
usw. einsetzbar. ALDEBARAN® HILINE LED Leuchten sind konzipiert, um Ihnen eine optimale Beleuchtung direkt am
Arbeitsplatz bereitzustellen.
Ein Betrieb in korrosiver oder explosionsgefährdeter Umgebung ist nicht zulässig.

Bedienelemente
Installation (Hängeleuchte)
Um die Leuchten der Serie ALDEBARAN® HILINE LED
als Hängeleuchte nutzen zu können, stehen Ihnen ein
Montageset und/oder Nylongurte zur Verfügung.
Im Lieferumfang enthaltenes Zubehör:
Montageset, bestehend aus jeweils zwei Stahlseilen
und Einschlagdübel, ist für eine feste Installation
in Betondecken geeignet.
Optional erhältliches Zubehör:
Hängeset, bestehend aus zwei Nylongurten (mit einem
Metallverschluss zur Arretierung ausgestattet) und
Karabinern, Art.-Nr. 1410926024.
GEFAHR!
Der Anschluss darf nur durch qualiziertes Personal erfolgen. Vor Arbeiten am Netz die Spannung frei schalten.
1. Bohren Sie zwei 10-mm-Löcher in die Decke an der Stelle, an der die Leuchte installiert werden soll, passen Sie den
Lochabstand entsprechend Ihrer Einbausituation an und setzen Sie die Einschlagdübel ein.
2. Bringen Sie die Einschlagdübel in den vorbereiteten Löchern an, befestigen Sie das Stahlseil (B) an den jeweiligen
Haken der Einschlagdübel und stellen Sie die Seile auf die passende Länge ein.
3. Hängen Sie die Leuchte in die Haken der Stahlseile (B) ein und vergewissern Sie sich, dass der Sicherungsbügel
vollständig geschlossen ist.
4. Die Zuleitung nun mit der Europaklemme verschrauben; N (blau), L (braun), PE
(grün/gelb) beachten.
5. Schließen Sie den Treiber bzw. die Leuchte an das Stromnetz an.
Die ALDEBARAN® HILINE LED ist auch mit angeschlossener Zuleitung (ab 5 m) und Ableitung (0,5 m) inkl. Stecker/
Kupplung lieferbar. Wenden Sie sich direkt an Ihr SETOLITE Team!

• Inbetriebnahme
Die Leuchte ist nur an Wechselstrom – mit Spannung gemäß Typenschild – an eine vorschriftsmäßig installierte Schutz-
kontaktsteckdose anzuschließen. Bitte beachten Sie, dass Ihre Anlage den einschlägigen VDE-Richtlinien entspricht.
Bei Fragen diesbezüglich wenden Sie sich bitte an Ihren Energieversorger oder Ihre Elektrofachkraft. Selbstverständlich
stehen wir Ihnen bei Rückfragen zur Verfügung.
VORSICHT!
Bei Ausführungen der Leuchte mit anderen Stecksystemen (nicht Schuko®), ist die Spannung gemäß Typenschild zu
beachten.
WARNUNG!
• Verlegen Sie die Kabel so, dass keine Stolperfallen entstehen und Sie vor mechanischen Beschädigungen, wie
Abreißen, geschützt sind.
• Befestigen Sie die Kabel, falls erforderlich, mit Klebeband oder Kabelbindern.
• Stellen Sie sicher, dass die Leuchte vor Inbetriebnahme sicher befestigt ist.
• Beachten Sie zudem geltende Vorschriften zur Arbeitssicherheit!
Elektrischer Anschluss
Verbinden Sie den Netzstecker der Anschlussleitung mit Ihrer Netzanschlussdose.
Mit dem Anschluss an das Versorgungsnetz ist die Leuchte betriebsbereit.

WARNUNG! Elektrischer Strom!
Vor jeder Wartung, Reinigung und Pege ist grundsätzlich das Gerät durch Ziehen des Netzsteckers vom Versor-
gungsnetz zu trennen.
Reinigung und Pege
Verwenden Sie zum Reinigen der Kunststoteile/Metallteile keine Lösungsmittel, Alkohole oder sonstige Chemikalien. Ver-
wenden Sie zum Entfernen von Schmutz, Staub, Öl und Fett usw. ein weiches, trockenes und fusselfreies Tuch.
Wartung und Instandsetzung
Die Leuchte ALDEBARAN® HILINE LED wurde als wartungsfrei konzipiert. Es sind daher keine Wartungsarbeiten not-
wendig. Das Produkt ist reparaturfähig. Einzelne Komponenten können im Bedarfsfall durch eine Fachkraft ausgetauscht
bzw. instand gesetzt werden.

Entsorgung
Dieses Produkt darf am Ende seiner Lebensdauer nicht über den normalen Haushaltsabfall entsorgt wer-
den, sondern muss an einem Sammelpunkt für das Recycling von elektrischen und elektronischen Geräten
abgegeben werden. Das Symbol auf dem Produkt, der Gebrauchsanleitung oder der Verpackung weist darauf
hin.
Die Werkstoe sind gemäß ihrer Kennzeichnung wiederverwertbar. Mit der Wiederverwendung, der stoichen Verwertung
oder anderen Formen der Verwertung von Altgeräten leisten Sie einen wichtigen Beitrag zum Schutze unserer Umwelt. Bitte

Safety information
This quality luminaire was built according to the rules of technology. The luminaire was built, tested and delivered in
proper condition. To maintain this condition and to ensure safe operation, the user must follow the instructions and
warnings of the operating instructions.
It is to assume that a safe operation is not possible
• if the luminaire shows visible damage.
• if the luminaire is no longer working properly.
• after prolonged storage under inconvenient conditions.
• after heavy transport stresses.
In these cases, the luminaire must be sent in for repair.
INFORMATION!
Repairs to the luminaire must be carried out only by the manufacturer, his customer service department or a qualied
electrician. A qualied electrician has the professional training, knowledge and experience, as well as knowledge of
the pertinent standards, to assess the work they are required to carry out and recognize possible hazards. Warranty
repairs are carried out only by the manufacturer.
Field of application
ALDEBARAN® HILINE LED luminaires are applicable as indoor lighting and – depending on the model and product – also
as outdoor lighting for industry, crafts, workshops, tents, rescue services, energy suppliers, rail and road transport etc.
ALDEBARAN® HILINE LED luminaires are developed to oer you optimal illumination directly at the workplace.
Operation in a corrosive or potentially explosive environment is not permitted.

Controls
Installation (pendant luminaire)
In order to be able to use the luminaires of the
ALDEBARAN® HILINE LED series as pendant
luminaires, a mounting set and / or nylon straps
are available.
Accessories included in the scope of delivery:
Mounting set, each consisting of two steel cables
and drive-in dowels, is suitable for xed installation in
concrete ceilings.
Optionally available accessories:
Hanging set, consisting of two nylon straps (equipped
with a metal fastener for locking) and carabiners,
item no. 1410926024.
WARNING!
Connection may only be carried out by qualied personnel. Before working on the mains, disconnect the voltage.
1. Drill two 10 mm holes in the ceiling where the luminaire is to be installed, adjust the hole spacing according to your
installation situation and insert the drive-in dowels.
2. Place the drive-in dowels in the prepared holes, attach the steel cable (B) to the respective hooks of the drive-in
dowels and adjust the cables to the appropriate length.
3. Hang the luminaire in the hooks of the steel cables (B) and make sure that the safety clip is completely closed.
4. Now screw the supply cable to the European terminal; observe N (blue), L (brown),
PE (green / yellow).
5. Connect the driver or the luminaire to the mains.
The ALDEBARAN® HILINE LED is also available with connected supply cable (from 5 m) and down conductor (0.5 m)
incl. plug / coupling. Contact your SETOLITE team directly!

Initial operation
The luminaire is only to be connected to an alternating current – with the voltage according to the rating plate – to a
properly installed safety socket. Please note that your system corresponds to the relevant VDE guidelines.
If you have any questions about this, please contact your energy supplier or your electrician.
Of course we are at your disposal if you have any questions.
ATTENTION!
In the case of versions of the luminaire with other plug-in systems (not Schuko®), the voltage according to the rating
plate must be observed.
WARNING!
• Lay the cables in such a way that there are no tripping hazards and they are protected from mechanical damage
such as tearing o or being run over.
• If necessary, secure the cables with tape or cable ties.
• Make sure the luminaire is securely set up and fastened before use.
• Also observe the applicable regulations on occupational safety!
Electrical connection
Connect the mains plug of the connecting cable to your mains connection socket.
The luminaire is ready for operation once it has been connected to the mains power supply.

Before any maintenance, cleaning and care, the device must always be disconnected from the power supply by pulling the

Cleaning and care
Do not use any solvents, alcohol or other chemicals to clean the plastic parts / metal parts.
To remove dirt, dust, oil and grease, etc., use a soft, dry, lint-free cloth.
Maintenance and repair
The ALDEBARAN® HILINE LED luminaire was designed to be maintenance-free. Therefore no maintenance work is
necessary. The product is repairable. If necessary, individual components can be replaced or repaired by a specialist.

Disposal
At the end of its useful life, this product must not be disposed of with normal household waste, but must be
taken to a collection point for the recycling of electrical and electronic equipment.The symbol on the product,
the instructions for use or the packaging indicates this.
The materials are recyclable according to their labeling. By reusing, material recycling or other forms of
recycling old devices, you are making an important contribution to protecting our environment. Please ask the municipal
administration for the responsible disposal point.
