Typenbezeichnung und Artikelnummer entnehmen Sie bitte dem Typenschild auf der Leuchte.

Sicherheitshinweise
Dieses Qualitätsprodukt ist nach aktuellen technischen Standards gefertigt, geprüft und in einem sicherheitstechnisch ein-
wandfreien Zustand ausgeliefert worden. Um diesen Zustand zu erhalten und einen gefahrlosen Betrieb sicherzustellen,
muss der Anwender die Hinweise und Warnvermerke dieser Gebrauchsanweisung beachten.
Es ist anzunehmen, dass ein gefahrloser Betrieb nicht mehr möglich ist,
• wenn das Lichtband sichtbare Schäden aufweist.
• wenn das Lichtband nicht mehr ordnungsgemäß arbeitet.
• nach längerer Lagerung unter ungünstigen Verhältnissen.
• nach schweren Transportbeanspruchungen.
In diesen Fällen ist das Lichtband zur Reparatur zu geben.
VORSICHT!
• Betreiben Sie die SETO LED SNAKE / SETO LED DOUBLE-SNAKE nicht, während sie aufgewickelt ist.
• Um eine Überhitzung zu vermeiden, vermeiden Sie den Kontakt zwischen exiblen Lichtbändern und Teilen von
Lichtbändern.
• Das Lichtband darf eine maximale Länge von 50 m nicht
überschreiten.
• Falten oder knicken Sie die SETO LED SNAKE / SETO LED
DOUBLE-SNAKE nicht.
• Biegen Sie die SETO LED SNAKE / SETO LED DOUBLE-SNAKE
nicht auf einen Durchmesser von weniger als 25 mm.
• Das Lichtband kann nur vertikal gebogen werden, nicht horizontal.
• Ein Betrieb außerhalb der zulässigen Toleranzen von ± 10 Prozent
kann zu Beschädigungen am Lichtband führen.
• Decken Sie das Produkt nicht ab, da die Abdeckung dazu führen
kann, dass das Lichtband überhitzt, schmilzt oder sich entzündet.
• Durchstechen, schneiden oder kürzen Sie die SETO LED SNAKE /
SETO LED DOUBLE-SNAKE nicht.
• Führen Sie das Kabel oder das Lichtband nicht durch Wände, Türen, Fenster oder ähnliche Teile der Gebäudestruktur.
• Tauchen Sie das Lichtband nicht in Flüssigkeiten und verwenden Sie das Produkt nicht in der Nähe von stehendem
Wasser oder anderen Flüssigkeiten.
• Nicht in Schränken, Tanks oder Gehäusen jeglicher Art installieren.
• Setzen Sie die SETO LED SNAKE / SETO LED DOUBLE-SNAKE keiner ständigen Biegung aus.
• Sichern Sie dieses Produkt oder sein Kabel nicht mit Klammern, Nägeln oder ähnlichen Mitteln, die die Isolierung
beschädigen.
HINWEIS!
Eine Reparatur des Lichtbands darf nur durch den Hersteller, seinen Kundendienst oder eine Elektrofachkraft erfolgen.
Elektrofachkraft ist, wer aufgrund seiner fachlichen Ausbildung, Kenntnisse und Erfahrungen sowie Kenntnisse der
einschlägigen Normen, die übertragenen Arbeiten beurteilen und mögliche Gefahren erkennen kann. Garantie-
reparaturen werden nur durch den Hersteller ausgeführt.
Nicht im aufgewickelten Zustand betreiben!
Verbundene Länge darf 50 m nicht überschreiten,
da dies den Lichtband beschädigt!

Anwendungsbereich
SETO LED SNAKE / SETO LED DOUBLE-SNAKE Lichtbänder sind als Außen- und Innenbeleuchtung / Wegbeleuchtung für
Industrie, Handwerk, Werkstätten, Rettungsdienste, Energieversorger, Bahn- und Verkehrsbetriebe usw. einsetzbar. SETO
LED SNAKE / SETO LED DOUBLE-SNAKE Lichtbänder sind konzipiert, um Ihnen eine optimale Beleuchtung bereitzustellen.
Ein Betrieb in explosionsgefährdeter Umgebung ist nicht zulässig.
Transport und Handling
Nutzen Sie für den Transport die beim Kauf mitgelieferte Kunststospule oder Kabeltrommel und wickeln Sie das Licht-
band darauf auf.
Vor Inbetriebnahme
VORSICHT!
Überprüfen Sie vor jedem Gebrauch das Produkt auf Beschädigungen! So verringern Sie das Risiko von Unfällen erheblich.
Inbetriebnahme
Die SETO LED SNAKE / SETO LED DOUBLE-SNAKE wird prinzipiell anschlussfertig mit Zuleitung und Stecker ausgeliefert.
Das Lichtband ist nur an Wechselstrom – mit Spannung gemäß Typenschild – an eine vorschriftsmäßig installierte Schutz-
kontaktsteckdose anzuschließen. Bitte beachten Sie, dass Ihre Anlage den einschlägigen VDE-Richtlinien entspricht.
Bei Fragen diesbezüglich wenden Sie sich bitte an Ihren Energieversorger oder Ihre Elektrofachkraft. Selbstverständlich stehen
wir Ihnen bei Rückfragen zur Verfügung.
Elektrischer Anschluss
Verbinden Sie den Netzstecker der Anschlussleitung mit Ihrer Netzanschlussdose.
Mit dem Anschluss an das Versorgungsnetz ist die Leuchte betriebsbereit.
GEFAHR! Elektrischer Strom!
• Dieses Produkt kann eine mögliche Stromschlag- oder Brandgefahr darstellen, wenn es unsachgemäß installiert
oder in irgendeiner Weise befestigt wird. Lichtbänder der SETO LED SNAKE / SETO LED DOUBLE-SNAKE Serie
sollten in Übereinstimmung mit dieser Anleitung, den aktuellen Elektrovorschriften und /oder dem aktuellen
National Electric Code (NEC) installiert werden.
• Wartungs- oder Reparaturarbeiten sind nur an der Zuleitung des Lichtbandes möglich und dürfen nur von
Elektrofachkräften durchgeführt werden. Es gelten die einschlägigen Sicherheitsregeln für das Arbeiten an
elektrischen Anlagen.
Vor jeder Wartung, Instandsetzung und Reinigung ist grundsätzlich das Gerät durch Ziehen des
Netzsteckers vom Versorgungsnetz zu trennen.

Reinigung und Pege
Verwenden Sie zum Reinigen der Kunststoteile/Metallteile keine Lösungsmittel, Alkohole oder sonstige Chemikalien.
Verwenden Sie zum Entfernen von Schmutz, Staub, Öl und Fett usw. ein weiches, trockenes und fusselfreies Tuch.
Wartung
Das Lichtband SETO LED SNAKE / SETO LED DOUBLE-SNAKE wurde als wartungsfrei konzipiert. Es sind daher keine
Wartungsarbeiten notwendig. Das Produkt ist reparaturfähig. Einzelne Komponenten können im Bedarfsfall durch eine
Fachkraft ausgetauscht bzw. instand gesetzt werden.
Entsorgung
Dieses Produkt darf am Ende seiner Lebensdauer nicht über den normalen Haushaltsabfall entsorgt werden,
sondern muss an einem Sammelpunkt für das Recycling von elektrischen und elektronischen Geräten abgege-
ben werden. Das Symbol auf dem Produkt, der Gebrauchsanleitung oder der Verpackung weist darauf hin.
Die Werkstoe sind gemäß ihrer Kennzeichnung wiederverwertbar. Mit der Wiederverwendung, der sto-
lichen Verwertung oder anderen Formen der Verwertung von Altgeräten leisten Sie einen wichtigen Beitrag zum Schutze
unserer Umwelt. Bitte erfragen Sie bei der Gemeindeverwaltung die zuständige Entsorgungsstelle.

Safety information
This quality product has been manufactured according to current technical standards, tested and delivered in a safe condition.
In order to maintain this condition and to ensure safe operation, the user must observe the notes and warnings in these
instructions for use.
It is to assume that a safe operation is not possible
• if the rope light shows visible damage.
• if the rope light is no longer working properly.
• after prolonged storage under inconvenient conditions.
• after heavy transport stresses.
In these cases, the rope light must be sent in for repair.
ATTENTION!
• Do not operate the SETO LED SNAKE / SETO LED DOUBLE-SNAKE while it is wound up.
• To avoid overheating, avoid contact between exible rope lights and parts of rope lights.
• The rope light must not exceed a maximum length of 50 m.
• Do not fold or bend the SETO LED SNAKE / SETO LED DOUBLE-
SNAKE.
• Do not bend the SETO LED SNAKE / SETO LED DOUBLE-SNAKE
to a diameter of less than 25 mm.
• The rope light can only be bent vertically, not horizontally.
• Operation outside the permissible tolerances of ± 10 percent can
cause damage to the rope light.
• Do not cover the product as the cover may cause the rope light to
overheat, melt or catch re.
• Do not pierce, cut or shorten the SETO LED SNAKE / SETO LED
DOUBLE-SNAKE.
• Do not run the cable or the rope light through walls, doors,
windows or similar parts of the building structure.
• Do not immerse the rope light in liquids and do not use the product near standing water or other liquids.
• Do not install in cabinets, tanks or enclosures of any kind.
• Do not subject the SETO LED SNAKE / SETO LED DOUBLE-SNAKE to constant bending.
• Do not secure this product or its cable with staples, nails or similar means that will damage the insulation.
INFORMATION!
Repairs to the rope light must be carried out only by the manufacturer, his customer service department or a qualied
electrician. A qualied electrician has the professional training, knowledge and experience, as well as knowledge of
the pertinent standards, to assess the work they are required to carry out and recognize possible hazards. Warranty
repairs are carried out only by the manufacturer.
Do not operate when wound up!
Connected length must not exceed 50 m,

Field of application
SETO LED SNAKE / SETO LED DOUBLE-SNAKE rope lights are applicable as indoor lighting and – depending on the model
and product – also as outdoor lighting / pathway lighting for industry, crafts, workshops, tents, rescue services, energy
suppliers, rail and road transport etc. SETO LED SNAKE / SETO LED DOUBLE-SNAKE rope lights are developed to oer you
optimal illumination directly at the workplace.
Operation in a potentially explosive environment is not permitted.
Transport and handling
For transport, use the plastic spool or cable drum supplied with the purchase and wind the rope light onto it.
Before initial operation
ATTENTION!
Check the product for damage before each use!This way you will considerably reduce the risk of accidents.
Initial operation
In principle, the SETO LED SNAKE / SETO LED DOUBLE-SNAKE is delivered ready for connection with a supply cable and
plug. The rope light is only to be connected to an alternating current – with the voltage according to the rating plate – to
a properly installed safety socket. Please note that your system corresponds to the relevant VDE guidelines.
If you have any questions about this, please contact your energy supplier or your electrician. Of course we are at your
disposal if you have any questions.
Electric connection
Connect the mains plug of the connecting cable to your mains connection socket.
The luminaire is ready for operation once it has been connected to the mains power supply.
DANGER! Electric current!
• This product may present a potential electric shock or re hazard if improperly installed or fastened in any way.
SETO LED SNAKE / SETO LED DOUBLE-SNAKE series rope lights should be installed in accordance with this
manual, current electrical codes and/ or the current National Electric Code (NEC).
• Maintenance or repair work can only be carried out on the supply line of the rope light and may only be carried
out by qualied electricians. The relevant safety regulations for working on electrical systems apply.
Before any maintenance, repair or cleaning, the unit must always be disconnected from the mains supply
by pulling out the mains plug.

Cleaning and care
Do not use any solvents, alcohol or other chemicals to clean the plastic parts / metal parts.
To remove dirt, dust, oil and grease, etc., use a soft, dry, lint-free cloth.
Maintenance
The rope light SETO LED SNAKE / SETO LED DOUBLE-SNAKE was designed to be maintenance-free . Therefore no main-
tenance work is necessary. The product is repairable. If necessary, individual components can be replaced or repaired by
a specialist.
Disposal
At the end of its useful life, this product must not be disposed of with normal household waste, but must be
taken to a collection point for the recycling of electrical and electronic equipment. The symbol on the product,
the instructions for use or the packaging indicates this.
The materials are recyclable according to their labeling. By reusing, material recycling or other forms of
recycling old devices, you are making an important contribution to protecting our environment. Please ask the municipal
administration for the responsible disposal point.
Return of old equipment
