Citrus fruit juicer
Dear Customer,
Before using the appliance, please read the
following instructions carefully and keep this
manual for future reference. e appliance
must only be used by persons familiar with
these instructions.
Connection to the mains supply
Make sure that the supply voltage
corresponds with the voltage marked on the
rating label. is product complies with all
binding CE labelling directives.

Important safety instructions

(at least 8 years of age) provided they have
been given supervision or instruction
concerning the use of the appliance and
fully understand all dangers and safety
precautions involved. Children must not
be permitted to carry out any cleaning
or maintenance work on the appliance
unless they are supervised and at least 8
years of age. e appliance and its power
cord must be kept well away from children
under 8 at all times.
 e appliance may only be used by
persons with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities, or lacking experience
and knowledge, if they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning the
use of the appliance and fully understand
all dangers and safety precautions
involved.
Children must not be permitted to play
with the appliance.
Caution: Keep any packaging materials
well away from children – these are
a potential source of danger, e.g. of
suocation.
Before the appliance is used, the main
body as well as any attachments tted
should be checked thoroughly for any
defects. If the appliance, for instance, has
been dropped onto a hard surface, it must
no longer be used: even invisible damage
may have adverse eects on its operational
safety.
 e power cord should be regularly
examined for any signs of damage. In the
event of such damage being found, the
appliance must no longer be used.
Do not allow the unit or its power cord to
touch hot surfaces or come into contact
with any heat sources.
Do not leave the appliance unattended
while connected. Always remove the plug
from the wall socket, even if you leave the
room only for a short while

In order to comply with safety regulations
and to avoid hazards, repairs of electrical
appliances must be carried out by qualied
personnel, including the replacement
of the power cord. If repairs are needed,
please send the appliance to one of our
customer service departments. e

Start up
Before the juicer is used for the rst time, it
must be cleaned as described in the section
General Cleaning and Care.
Juicer dome storage compartment
Both domes, large and small, can be stored
together or separately inside the base of the
unit. To store, open the lid in the base, place
the domes inside and close the lid again.
Operation
– Take the juicer dome(s) from the base
storage.
– Attach the juice tray to the drive sha of
the base unit.
– Fit the pulp sieve onto the juice tray with
the curved side facing down.
– Fit the smaller dome over the pulp sieve
and onto the drive sha.
– When processing larger citrus fruits such
as oranges, the larger juicer dome can be
tted over the smaller one; ensure that the
recesses on the larger dome t over the
ridges on the smaller one.
– Place a glass or any other suitable
container under the juice outlet. Push the
spout down to open the outlet.
– Insert the plug into a suitable wall socket.
– Cut the citrus fruit in half and push one
of the halves lightly down onto the dome
with the cut section facing downwards.
–e drive sha will start rotating
automatically once pressure is applied
to the dome. e appliance switches o
when pressure on the dome is lied.
– When processing larger quantities of fruit,
the pulp sieve must be emptied from time
to time as necessary.
– Once all the juice has been extracted,
push the spout up to close the outlet and
remove the plug from the wall socket.
General Cleaning and Care
Before cleaning the appliance, remove the
plug from the wall socket.
To avoid the risk of electric shock, do not
clean the appliance with water and do not
immerse it in water.
Do not use abrasives, harsh cleaning
solutions or hard brushes for cleaning.
–e base unit may be wiped with a slightly
damp, lint-free cloth.
– Detachable parts should be thoroughly
cleaned immediately aer use with hot
water and a mild detergent. To ensure
that any juice residue can be drained o,
the spout should be pushed down during
cleaning.
–Ret the juice tray, pulp sieve and dust
cover aer cleaning.
Disposal
Do not dispose of old or defective
appliances in domestic garbage;
this should only be done through
public collection points.
Guarantee
is product is guaranteed against defects
in materials and workmanship for a period
of two years from the date of purchase.
Under this guarantee the manufacturer
undertakes to repair or replace any parts
found to be defective, providing the product
is returned to one of our authorised service
centres. is guarantee is only valid if the
appliance has been used in accordance with
the instructions, and provided that it has not
been modied, repaired or interfered with

by any unauthorised person, or damaged
through misuse.
is guarantee naturally does not cover wear
and tear, nor breakables such as glass and
ceramic items, bulbs etc. is guarantee does
not aect your statutory rights, nor any legal
rights you may have as a consumer under
applicable national legislation governing
the purchase of goods. If the product fails
to operate and needs to be returned, pack it
carefully, enclosing your name and address
and the reason for return. If within the
guarantee period, please also provide the
guarantee card and proof of purchase.
