Make sure that the power-cordisnever crimped or damaged.Checkthe deviceand the power-cord
fromtime to time.
The cable insert orthe female part in the device must never bestrained.There mustalways be
sufficient cable to thedevice.Otherwise,the cable may be damaged which maylead todeadly
electricalshocks.
Ifthe externalcable is damaged,it hasto be replaced by a qualified technician.
If device isdropped or struck,disconnect mainspower supplyimmediately. Have a qualified
engineer inspect forsafety beforeoperating.
If the devicehasbeenexposed to drastictemperaturefluctuation (e.g. after transportation),do not
switch it on immediately. The arisingcondensationwater might damageyour device. Leave the
device switchedoff until it has reached room temperature.
If your Showtec device failsto work properly,discontinue useimmediately. Pack theunit securely
(preferablyin the original packingmaterial),and returnit to your Showtec dealer forservice.
For adult useonly. Lighteffectmust be installed outof the reachofchildren. Neverleave theunit
running unattended.
The user isresponsiblefor correct positioning and operating of the LED Dancefloor.The
manufacturer will not acceptliability for damages caused bythe misuse or incorrect installation of
this device.
This device falls under protection class I. Thereforeit is essential to connectthe yellow/green
conductor toearth.
Repairs, servicing and electric connection must be carried out by a qualified technician.
For replacement use fuses ofsame type and rating only.

Set Up and Operation
Before plugging the unit in,always make sure that the power supply matches the product specification
voltage.Do not attempt to operate a 120V specification product on 230V power, or vice versa.
Always disconnect from electric mains power supply before cleaning or servicing.
Damages caused by non-observance are not subject to warranty.

The operator has to make surethat safety-relating andmachine-technical installationsareto be inspected
by an expert aftereveryfour yearsin the course of anacceptance test.
The operator has tomake sure that safety-relating and machine-technicalinstallations are to be inspected
bya skilled person onceayear.
The following points have to be consideredduring the inspection:
1. All screws used forinstalling the deviceorparts of the device have tobe tightlyconnected and must
not be corroded.
2.There maynot be anydeformationsonhousings,fixations and installationspots.
3.Mechanicallymovingparts like axles,eyes andothersmaynot show anytracesofwearing.
4. Theelectricpowersupplycablesmust not showanydamages or material fatigue.
TheShowtecLED Dancefloor requires almost nomaintenance. However,youshould keep theunit clean.
Otherwise,thefixtureslight-outputwill besignificantlyreduced.Disconnect the mainspowersupply, and
thenwipethecoverwitha damp cloth.Donot immerse inliquid. Wipelens cleanwith glasscleanerand a
soft cloth.Donot use alcoholorsolvents.Keep connections clean.Disconnect electric power,andthen wipe
the connections with adamp cloth.Make sure connections are thoroughly dry before linking equipmentor
supplying electricpower.
Troubleshooting
Thistroubleshooting guide is meant tohelpsolve simple problems.
Ifa problemoccurs, carry out the stepsbelow insequenceuntil a solution isfound. Once theunit operates
properly,do notcarryout following steps.
1.Ifthe device doesnotoperate properly,unplug thedevice.
2. Check the fuse,powerfromthewall,all cables etc.
3.Ifall oftheaboveappearstobe O.K., plug theunitin again.
4.Ifyou are unable to determine the cause ofthe problem,donot open theLED Dancefloor,as thismay
damage the unit and the warrantywill become void
5.Returnthe device toyour Showtecdealer.
No Light
Thistroubleshootingguide ismeanttohelpsolvesimple problems.Ifaproblem occurs,carry out the steps
below in sequence until a solution is found.Once the unitoperates properly,do notcarry out following
steps.
Ifthe lighteffectdoesnot operate properly,refer servicingtoa technician.
Response:Suspect three potential problem areas:thepower supply,the LEOs or the fuse.
1. Powersupply. Checkthat theunitis pluggedintoan appropriate powersupply.
2.TheLEOs.Returnthe LED Dancefloor toyourShowtecdealer.
3.The fuse.Replacethe fuse.
Replacing the Fuse
Powersurges,short-circuit or inappropriate electrical power supplymay cause a fuseto burn out. If thefuse
burns out, the product will notfunctionwhatsoever. If thishappens,follow thedirections below to do so.
1. Unplugthe unit from electric power source.
2. Insert a screwdriver into the slot inthefusecover Turn the screwdriver to theleft, at the same time gently
pusha bit(Turn andPush). Thefusewill come out.
3. Remove theusedfuse.If brownor unclear,it is burned out.
4. Insertthe replacement fuse intothe holderwherethe old fuse was. Reinsertthefuse cover Be sure to
useafuse of the same type and specification.See theproduct specification labelfordetails.
