1.1 Package Contents
This document provides essential installation information of PV416 surveillance card

To enhance surveillance recording quality, recommended CPU as following:
• Windows XP : E1400 or higher CPU
• Windows Vista : E2200 or higher CPU

PV416 surveillance card :
Install the PV416 surveillance card into the PCI-e x1 slot on back panel.
1.2 Hardware Installation
Install the PV416 surveillance cable into the
D-Sub ports .
Warning!! The regular D-Sub (display monitor) should be connected to
onboard D-Sub port, and survillance cable should be connect to PV416
surveillance card.

1.4 Software Installation
Connect the camera to the BNC jack on the D-Sub cable that
provide with the package.
1.4.1 D1416 surveillance driver and software installation :

Install Motherboard Drivers
Install Surveillance Driver and Software -
Install Surveillance Driver(D1416 only),
Install Surveillance Software (D1416 only),
Return to previous page.

DVR/Common Setting
Profile tab:
1. Standard: support two standard signal input: NTSC
and PAL.
2. Channels: input can support from 4, 8 up to
16 channels.
3. Chipsets: 4.
4. Resolution: 352 x 288, 704 x 576.
5. Frame rates: 2.500, 4.167.
Disk tab:
Select your preferable saving location

DVR setting page:
DVR/Camera Setting
Adjust each camera properties with below option :
Network Configuration
System will automatically update your network configu-
ration when the network is connecting. You may also
set the configuration manually
DVR/Network Setting
DVR/Intelligent Setting
Contrast Saturation
Hue Sharpness
Brightness
Motion detect function. ( If motion detect re
cording icon has enabled in DVR/Schedule
page, the function will be force enabled. )
Show the motion detect object.(Red: fore-
ground; blue: background.)
Control the sensitivity of motion detect.

Click Exit icon to close the surveillance application.
KVM Switch
Click this icon to switch pop-up program between 2
monitors.
(This icon only appear when you use 2 monitors in
extended mode. )
