このたびは、クイックチャージャー QCA-W5 をお買い上げいただき
ありがとうございます。ご使用の前に必ずこの取扱説明書をよくお読
みになり、正しくお使いください。
また、本書はいつでも取り出せる場所に大切に保管してください。

・絶対にニッケル水素電池 NI-W5 以外の充電に使用しないでくだ
さい。また、ミニポンプ MP-W5P 以外に使用しないでください。
・QCA-W5 には付属の専用 AC アダプター RC60G-12D 以外を絶
対に接続しないでください。
・QCA-W5 や RC60G-12D を分解、改造しないでください。
・本体に金属などを差し込まないでください。
・乳幼児の近くに放置しないでください。
・水につけたり、濡らしたりしないでください。
・発熱、異臭がした場合には速やかにプラグを AC コンセントから
抜いてください。
・QCA-W5 や RC60G-12D に重いものを載せたり、落下など衝撃
を与えたりしないでください。

・MP-W5P との接続、取り外しは必ずコネクタをもって行って
ください。
・電子式変圧器などには接続しないでください。
・ショートした NI-W5 に充電しないでください。
・発熱物や放熱を妨げる物の近くで使用しないでください。
・それぞれのコネクタは根元まで確実に差し込んでください。
注 意
誤った使い方をすると、傷害や物的損害の原因となります。
・コネクタは正しく接続してください。
・5～35℃の室内で充電をしてください。
・湿気やほこりの多いところで充電、保管しないでください。
・充電しないときは必ず、RC60G-12D を AC コンセントから抜
いてください。
■特 徴
● ミニポンプ MP-W5P に接続されたニッケル水素電池 NI-W5 を
充電できます。
● ミニポンプ MP-W5P 用の AC アダプターとしても使用できます。
● NI-W5 を充電しながら、ミニポンプへの電源供給ができます。
● マイコン搭載、過充電、過熱防止機能が充実しています。
● 簡易バッテリー電圧チェックができます。
● 電池の温度を検知し、適温（5～35℃）で充電します。
● RoHS 指令適合品です。

■取扱方法
① 上図のように接続すると充電が開始され、LED 赤が点滅します。
充電が完了すると、LED 緑が点灯します。
・MP-W5P に NI-W5 を入れて QCA-W5 を接続した場合、
NI-W5 を充電しながら AC 駆動できます。
・MP-W5P に NI-W5 を入れずに QCA-W5 を接続した場合、
AC 駆動できます。
・MP-W5P に乾電池を入れて QCA-W5 を接続した場合、
AC 駆動できます。
この場合、乾電池形状の二次電池を入れた場合でも AC
駆動できますが、二次電池の充電はできません。
※ QCA-W5 専用 AC アダプター RC60G-12D は MP-W5P に直接
接続できません。必ず上図のように配線してお使いください。
※ RC60G-12D は海外電源対応ですが、付属の電源プラグが日本
国内専用です。海外で使用する場合は、その国の規格に適合し
た電源プラグを用意してご使用ください。
② QCA-W5 を接続しても LED 赤が点灯している場合、充電開始時の
電池温度が範囲外のため充電ができない状態です。この場合は電
池温度範囲内に入り次第、自動的に充電を開始します。
なお、適温充電条件は 5～35℃です。
※ 充電中に電池温度が 0～60℃を外れた場合、充電を停止します。
この場合も LED 赤が点灯し、電池温度範囲内に入り次第、自動的
に充電が再開されます。
③ LED が赤、緑ともに点滅しているときはエラー状態です。原因が
不明の場合は、当社までご連絡願います。
④ LED 左側にあるボタンを押すと簡易バッテリー電圧チェックがで
きます。
ボタンを押して LED 赤、緑ともに点灯しましたら、電圧が 8.6V 以上
あり、約 80％充電状態であると判断できます。
LED 赤点灯、緑点滅の時は、電圧 8.6V 未満で、充電が必要です。
※ 充電完了状態（LED 緑点灯）では、この機能は使えません。

Thank you for buying the QCA-W5 Quick Charger. Before using the
QCA-W5, be sure to thoroughly read this manual to ensure correct use.
Also, keep this manual in a safe place so that it can be referred to
whenever necessary.

■Safety Precautions
The precautionaryinformation that appears in this manual is for
ensuring that the product is used safely and for preventing injury to you
and other people anddamage to equipment.
It is all important for ensuring safety and so be sure to read it thoroughly
before using the product and observe it during use.
Warning Indications
DANGER: Impending danger is expected that
might result in death or serious injury.

Misuse might cause electric shock, generation of heat,
fire, or rupturing, which will result in burns, serious
injury or blindness.
• Never use the QCA-W5for charging devices other than the NI-W5
Nickel metal-hydride battery.Also, neverusetheQCA-W5for
devices other than the MP-W5P.
• Never connect anAC adapter other than theexclusive
RC60G-12DAC adapter (provided) to the QCA-W5.
• Do not disassemble or modifythe QCA-W5 andRC60G-12D.
• Do not insert metal objects insidethe product body.
• Do not leave the product near infants.
• Do not immerse the product in water or allow it to get wet.
• If you notice heat generation or abnormal odors, immediately
disconnect the plug from theAC power outlet.
• Do not placeheavy objects on the QCA-W5 orRC60G-12D, or
subject them to dropping or other impact.
WARNING

• When connecting or disconnecting the MP-W5P, be sure to do so
by holding the connector.
• Do not connect to an electronic type transformer.
• Do not charge a short-circuited NI-W5.
• Do not use the QCA-W5 near objects that generate heat or block
heat discharge.
• Insert each of the connectors firmly as far as possible.
CAUTION
Misuse might cause moderate injury or physical damage.
• Connect connectors correctly.
• Charge indoors within a temperature range of 5 to 35°C.
• Do not charge or store in humid or dusty locations.
• When not charging, be sure to disconnect the RC60G-12D from
theAC power outlet.

■Handling Method
(1) When connected as shown in the figure on the left, charging is
started and the red LED flashes.
When charging is completed, the red LED stops flashing and the
green LED lights up.
・When the NI-W5 is installed in the MP-W5P and then
the QCA-W5 is connected,AC drive is enabled while charging the
NI-W5.
・When the QCA-W5 is connected to the MP-W5P without the NI-W5
installed,AC drive is enabled.
・When a dry cell is installed in the MP-W5P and then the QCA-W5 is
connected,AC drive is enabled.
In this case,AC drive is enabledeven when a dry celltype
secondary battery is installed. However, the secondary battery is not
charged.
* The RC60G-12DAC adapter for the QCA-W5 cannot be directly
connected to the MP-W5P. Be sure to connect it as shown in the
figure above.
* Although the RC60G-12D supports power supplies in countries other
than Japan, its attachedpower plug is onlyfor use in Japan. When
using the RC60G-12D in a country other than Japan, provide a power
plug suitablefor the country's specifications.
(2) If the red LED is lit even with the QCA-W5 connected, charging is
not possible since the battery temperature at the start of charging is
out-of-range. In this case, charging will start automatically as soon
as the battery temperature returns to within the battery temperature
range. The appropriate charging temperature range is 5 to 35 °C.
* Charging will stop midway if the battery temperature falls out of the
temperature range 0 to 60°C. In this case, too, the red LED will light,
and charging will start automatically as soon as the battery
temperature returns to within the battery temperature range.
(3) When both red and green LEDs are flashing, an error has occurred.
If the cause of the error is unknown, contact your Sibata agent.
(4) The simple battery voltage check can be performed by pressing the
button on the left of the LEDs.
When both red and green LEDs light after pressing the button, the
voltage is 8.6V or more, and you can judge that the battery is about
80% charged.
When the red LED is lit and the green LED is flashing,
the voltage is less than 8.6 V, which means that the battery must be
charged.
* In a fully charged state (with the green LED lit), this function cannot
be used.
