■Precautions for Handling the BU-24B/BU-24L While Charging
Prohibited
When charging two or three units at the same time, avoid charging the
BU-24B and BU-24L in combination.

be charged at the same time. However, the BU-24B uses a lead storage battery, and the BU-
24L uses a lithium ion battery. The types of batteries used are different, so if these battery units
are charged in combination, there is a risk of battery degradation or an accident. When charging
multiple batteries, first be sure to check that they are all either BU-24B units or BU-24L units.

■Using Methods
(1) Place the BU-24B/BU-24L on top of the exclusive BC-100B Battery Charger.
(2) Connect the power cable (provided) to the AC INLET on the rear panel of the BC-100B, and connect the
other end to the AC power outlet.

to green, this indicates that charging is completed. It takes about 15 hours* to charge the BU-24B/BU-
24L.
*This is the reference charging time when the battery is fully charged at 20 °C. This charging time
may differ considerably depending on the remaining battery power and ambient temperature. The
charging time is the same for one or three BU-24B/BU-24L units.
●Use a 100 to 240 V AC single-phase power supply. However, if the power supply voltage exceeds
100 V, provide a power supply cable that complies with the laws, regulations, and safety standards of
