Zweck dieser Dokumentation
Diese Anleitung ist eine Kurzfassung der wesentlichen Merkmale, Funktionen und
Sicherheitshinweise und enthält alle für den sicheren Einsatz des Gerätes
notwendigen Informationen. Lesen Sie die Anleitung vor der Installation und
Inbetriebnahme sorgfältig. Um eine sachgemäße Handhabung sicherzustellen,
machen Sie sich mit der Funktionsweise des Geräts vertraut.
Die Anleitung richtet sich an Personen, die das Gerät mechanisch montieren,
elektrisch anschließen und in Betrieb nehmen.
Um das Gerät optimal nutzen zu können, lesen Sie bitte die ausführliche Version der
Anleitung.

Der WirelessHART
-Adapter darf nur als Funkmodul verwendet werden. Bei
unsachgemäßem Einsatz können Gefahren von ihm ausgehen.

Qualifiziert sind Personen, die mit Aufstellung, Montage, Inbetriebsetzung und
Betrieb des Produkts vertraut sind.
Die Personen verfügen über folgende

Sie sind berechtigt und ausgebildet bzw. unterwiesen, Geräte und Systeme
gemäß des Standards der Sicherheitstechnik für elektrische Stromkreise, hohe
Drücke und aggressive sowie gefährliche Medien zu betreiben und zu warten.

Bei Geräten mit Explosionsschutz: Sie sind berechtigt und ausgebildet bzw.
unterwiesen, Arbeiten an elektrischen Stromkreisen für explosionsgefährdete
Anlagen durchzuführen.
•
Sie sind in Pflege und Gebrauch angemessener Sicherheitsausrüstung
ausgebildet, bzw. unterwiesen, gemäß des Standards der Sicherheitstechnik.

Allgemein
●Das Personal muss für Montage, elektrische Installation, Inbetriebnahme und
Wartung des Geräts folgende Bedingungen erfüllen:
–Verfügt über Qualifikation, die seiner Funktion und Tätigkeit entspricht
–Ist ausgebildet im Explosionsschutz
–Ist vertraut mit den nationalen Vorschriften
●Gerät gemäß Herstellerangaben und nationaler Vorschriften installieren.

●Nationale Abfall-Beseitigungsvorschriften beachten.

●Elektrostatische Aufladung vermeiden (z.B. nicht trocken reiben):
–Von Gehäuse und Antenne
–Von dem Verbindungskabel
–Von der Sonderausführung Drucktaster (wenn vorhanden)
●Wenn elektrostatische Aufladungen vermieden werden (z.B. durch Reibung,
Reinigung, Wartung, starke Messstoffströme): WirelessHART-Adapter in der
Gasgruppe IIC und IIB einsetzbar.
●WirelessHART-Adapter: Kennzeichnung mit Warnschild "Elektrostatische
Aufladung vermeiden".
●Regeln für die Zusammenschaltung von eigensicheren Stromkreisen beachten.
●Um die Gehäuseschutzart zu erhalten:
–Deckel fest zudrehen.
–Kabeleinführung fachgerecht montieren.
●Nach einer Gehäuse-Ausrichtung (Verdrehen): die Arretierungsschraube wieder
fest anziehen.
●Das Verbindungskabel vom WirelessHART-Adapter zum Feldgerät vor Zug und
Reibung schützen (z. B. wegen elektrostatischer Aufladung durch
Messstoffströme).

Kunststoffgehäuse
●Drehmoment beachten:
–Deckelschrauben: 0,7 Nm ±10%
–Kabeleinführung: 3,25 Nm ±10%
–Verschlussstopfen: 3,25 Nm ±10%
Aluminiumgehäuse
●Drehmoment beachten:
–Deckelschrauben: 0,7 Nm ±10%
–Kabeleinführung: 6,25 Nm ±10%
–Verschlussstopfen: 6,25 Nm ±10%
●Gerät in den örtlichen Potentialausgleich einbeziehen.
Zone 1
●Konfigurieren des Gerätes: Elektronikraum darf unter Spannung geöffnet werden.
●Batteriewechsel: Der WirelessHART-Adapter darf innerhalb des Ex-Bereiches
geöffnet werden.
●Nicht benutzte Einführungsöffnungen mit Verschlussstopfen verschließen, die der
Zündschutzart entsprechen und zugelassen sind.
Kunststoffgehäuse F32 mit Sonderausführung Drucktaster
–Beim Anschluss des Geräts: Sicherstellen, dass der Anschluss für den
Drucktaster erhalten bleibt. Siehe Bild "Bild 5-2 Drucktaster (Seite 7)",
Klemme 2 und 5.
Zone 21
●Nicht in explosionsfähiger Staubatmosphäre öffnen.
●Das Batteriepack darf nicht innerhalb des Staub-explosionsgefährdeten Bereich
gewechselt werden.
●Nur Kabelverschraubungen mit ATEX-Ex e-Zulassung bzw. metallische
Verschraubung mit Schutzart von mindestens IP65 verwenden. Anschlusskabel
fest verlegen.
●Nicht benutzte Einführungsöffnungen mit Verschlussstopfen verschließen, die der
Zündschutzart entsprechen und zugelassen sind.
Kunststoffgehäuse
–Nur für den Einsatz in Zone 1 geeignet!
Batterie
●Nur die in der Betriebsanleitung aufgeführte Batterieeinheit vom Typ BU 191
(Bestellnummer 7MP3990-0AA00) verwenden.

●Der Steckverbinder ist so konzipiert, dass eine Verpolung nicht möglich ist.
●Kurzschluss der Plus- und Minus-Leitung führt zum Auslösen der irreversiblen,
nicht wechselbaren Sicherung.
●Im Gas-explosionsgefährdeten Bereich ist das Mitführen von ausschließlich einer
Batterieeinheit vom Typ BU 191 (Bestellnummer 7MP3990-0AA00) zulässig.
●Die Gerätesicherheit kann z. B. gefährdet sein:
–Bei sichtbaren Beschädigungen am Batteriegehäuse
–Bei unsachgemäßer Lagerung
–Bei entstandenen Schäden durch den Transport

Gesetze und Bestimmungen
Beachten Sie bei Anschluss, Montage und Betrieb die für Ihr Land gültigen
Prüfbescheinigungen, Bestimmungen und Gesetze. Dies sind zum Beispiel:

●Canadian Electrical Code (CEC) (Canada)
Weitere Bestimmungen für Anwendungen in explosionsgefährdeten Bereichen sind
z. B.:
●IEC 60079-14 (international)
●EN 60079-14 (EG)
Betriebsbedingungen:
Für den Betrieb dieses Geräts müssen die folgenden beiden Bedingungen erfüllt
sein:
1. es muss möglich sein, sicherzustellen, dass das Gerät bzw. die Vorrichtung keine
schädlichen Störeinflüsse verursacht.
2. das Gerät bzw. die Vorrichtung muss Störeinflüssen, auch durch
Bedienungsfehler, standhalten.

Purpose of this documentation
These instructions are a brief summary of important features, functions and safety
information, and contain all information required for safe use of the device. Read the
instructions carefully prior to installation and commissioning. In order to use the
device correctly, first review its principle of operation.
The instructions are aimed at persons who mechanically assemble the device,
connect it electrically, and start it up.
To achieve optimum usage of the device, read the detailed version of the
instructions.

For explosion-proof devices: They are authorized, trained, or instructed in
carrying out work on electrical circuits for hazardous systems.

They are trained or instructed in maintenance and use of appropriate safety

General information
●The personnel must fulfill the following conditions for mounting, electrical
installation, commissioning and maintenance of the device:
–Possess qualifications appropriate to their role and activity
–Are trained in explosion protection
–Are familiar with the national regulations
●Install the device in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions and national
regulations.

●Drained battery packs must be disposed of in an environmentally-appropriate
manner.
●Observe the national waste disposal laws.

●To retain the degree of protection of the enclosure:
–Screw the cover tight.
–Mount the cable entry appropriately.
●Following alignment of the enclosure (rotating): tighten the locking screw again.
●Protect the connecting cable between the WirelessHART adapter and the field
device against tension and friction (e.g. electrostatic charging resulting from flow
of process medium).

●Observe the torque:
–Cover screws: 0.7 Nm ± 10%
–Cable entry: 3.25 Nm ± 10%
–Sealing plugs: 3.25 Nm ± 10%
Aluminum enclosure
●Observe the torque:
–Cover screws: 0.7 Nm ± 10%
–Cable entry: 6.25 Nm ± 10%
–Sealing plugs: 6.25 Nm ± 10%
●Integrate device in local equipotential bonding.
Zone 1
●Device configuration: electronics compartment may be opened when live.
●Battery replacement: the WirelessHART adapter may be opened within the
hazardous area.
●Close unused cable entries using sealing plugs which comply with the type of
protection and are approved.
Plastic enclosure F32 in special version with pushbuttons
–When connecting the device: make sure that the connection for the
pushbutton is retained. See figure "Figure 5-2 Pushbuttons (Page 17)",
terminals 2 and 5.
Zone 21
●Do not open in explosive dust atmosphere.
●The battery pack must not be replaced within the explosive dust atmosphere.
●Only use cable glands with ATEX-Ex e approval or metallic screwed glands with a
degree of protection of at least IP65. Provide fixed routing for the cables.
●Close unused cable entries using sealing plugs which comply with the type of
protection and are approved.
Plastic enclosure
–Only suitable for use in Zone 1.
Battery
●Only use the battery unit of type BU 191 (order no. 7MP3990-0AA00) referred to
in the operating instructions.
●The connector is designed in such a way that polarity reversal is not possible.

●A short-circuit between the positive and negative lines results in triggering of the
irreversible, non-replaceable fuse.
●Within the explosive gas atmosphere, it is only permissible to have a battery unit
of type BU 191 (order no. 7MP3990-0AA00).
●Device safety can be endangered by, for example:
–Visible damage on the battery enclosure
–Improper storage
–Damage caused during transport

Observe the test certification, provisions and laws applicable in your country during
connection, assembly and operation. These include, for example:

Operating conditions:
The following two conditions must be complied with when operating this device:
1. It must be possible to guarantee that the device or equipment does not generate
any dangerous interferences.
2. The device or equipment must be resistant to interferences, including those
resulting from faulty operation.

adapter using a certified hand-held terminal with observation of the safety-
relevant characteristic values.
